In need of getting our Siberian Elms under control. Became dangerous with potential life threatening limbs. Called a few tree service companies, those that came out and gave us. Estimates we're definitely out to gouge us. Others were too busy or we just scheduled them when they could come out and check out our property. Spoke with Justin on the phone, and he happened to be near our town,came out, reviewed our situation and gave us, what I believe was a far price. Was to take care of it in a few days but was able to come out the next day. Completed the job in one day with the second day of cleaning up any debris that was left behind. Our neighbor was informed that we would be trimming our trees and liked what he saw, booked Justin to take care of a similar issue with one of his trees. Service, attention to detail, professional workmanship and hands on company. Highly recommend Justin's family business. Finding a fair, business oriented company is much appreciated. We hired Rieke service a year & a half ago, AMAZING & I MEAN AMAZING COMPANY !! we had two filthy very tall trees on the north side of our home, he came out evaluated the job & gave us a price right then & there, we now have a huge maple that is making us uncomfortable as it is leaning over our family room w a 17' tall ceiling & we don't want that tree to crash through the roof, we believe it's dying but instead of calling a tree arborist we will reach out to the owner & get his professional opinion for next spring to possibly have it removed !! We needed some tree trimming on our property and we had had Justin take 4 trees down a few years ago. We knew he is a registered arborist and I wanted someone that knows what they are doing with our trees. We contacted him and Set up an appt. he came out, gave us a very fair quote and we set an appt. he called us a day early and said he had an opening and would it work to come out today. That worked even better for us and he came out with his crew, chipper and basket truck. They got to work and did beautiful work. Everything we asked for he took care of, his crew was friendly and professional. They cleaned up and did great work. We'll have him out again when we need to trim more trees. We had 2 trees removed last December 2017. The STUMP REMOVAL was included in the price. The trees are gone but not the stumps. After 15 phone calls and many promises, the stumps have not moved! Wish I could give a negative star rating. Justin is a liar and a thief. My wife and I have been waiting for close to a year now for him to give us our money back for work that was not done. He recently contacted my wife asking if he could give us our money back and she said ok, and she agreed to remove the negative comments on Facebook about him. Zero stars should be an option.This has been the most horrific experience with a company.It took 4 months and multiple no shows-no calls to get this job complete.I read some bad reviews but my husband decided to give him a shot since he's local.Worst mistake ever.We agreed upfront I wouldn't pay him until the job was complete.Day of came and a branch ended up on my pear tree and the corner of my house.He said it was too windy(my opinion since my flag wasn't moving,it was not)and needed to get a crane.Next thing you know he's asking me for an extra $400 because of the crane(even though when he quoted us he said he planned on using a crane.)I refused to pay more than we were quoted and come to find out he told the crane rental place that he would pay him that day when I paid him knowing full well the job wasn't going to be complete that day and we had an agreement(because of other bad reviews saying he took money and never finished)that I wasn't paying until it was complete..Next thing you know he hands me his cell on speaker and the crane guy is yelling profanities at me and threatening to "come to my house and take his f'ing money".He then came to my door and apologized for how awful everything turned out saying that his aunt just died and the crane guy is just mad at him cause he owed him money already.I told him to just finish the job and he'd get paid.He leaves and shortly after my cell rings and the crane guy is telling me that Reike is broke and he's been trying to hunt him down for 6 months so he's coming after me for his money and threatening to put a lien on my house! I can't believe my number was given out to someone I had zero dealings or contracts with to be harassed.I thought it ended there after the sherrif came to my house because of the threats.Justin came the next day and finished the job and I paid him.Last night,in a fb group,a neighbor made a joke about how he needed a tree down but wasn't going to ask for recommendations from me.Without even mentioning his name,Reike came at me to stir the pot trying to make my husband and I look bad (defamation)trying to say we took advantage of him.When I told the real story he told me that whatever happened between me and the crane guy was between us even though HE handed me his phone so dude could scream at me and HE gave him my number to harass me .Then cried slander and defamation saying "I already won,why do you think I participated so well?".I cannot believe how people have been treated by this guy.I never thought hiring a local guy would turn into this much stress and threats and worrying about if someone is going to show up at my door.At least I have plenty of proof through texts and messages that the only defamation was to my family,but then again I know the definition.It is only defamation if it isn't true.I hope no one else ever has to go through this for any service. read more

Justin took my $800 deposit and disappeared for a couple months, showed up with many excuses but only completed a small portion of job in contract disappeared again. He claims to have a grinder but doesn't. DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE. He came across like a nice young man, but I feel totally scammed. I now have to take him to small claims. What a pain. read more

I called for a free quote on a tree removal and Justin was here in a hour to discuss the job. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We agreed on the task at hand and he was back with his tools in the time frame he said, and completed the job at a very reasonable price. I am very happy with his work. Another update: still no $50 he's supposedly refunding. Shocker! Justin contacted my husband via text and told him we need to take down our negative reviews and he will be hiring an attorney for defamation; like he could afford one with all his legal troubles. If he had an attorney, like we do, he would know his legal troubles are public record therefore he'd lose. He's just a cry baby who can't take negative feedback. He tried to argue my review on Facebook stating he was doing the stumps for free. LIAR. He knows it was part of the price. I blocked him, deleted my original review with his lying responses and reposted my lovely review. My husband also blocked his number cus we're tired of his lies and whining antics. If he wants all the reviews down, he has to finish the job we paid in full for or refund us half since only half was completed. I'm not gonna hold my breath, after all he's got a dui and judgements for stealing customers money to pay for! read more

Justin and staff were extremely reliable and quick with service. We contacted him Saturday, came out same day to give quotes with minutes. The next weekend, two large oak trees along with some maintenance above our driveway tree taken care of. Very courteous and well-mannered staff. Would recommend to anyone. Justin came out and took a tree down in our yard- did so quickly and for a great price. We'd said we only wanted the tree taken down- we'd do the rest, but he offered to mulch what he could- PLUS what brush we already had sitting in our yard for a such a small fee, we couldn't say no. Very satisfied with the work- I give four stars only because we've only used him once- but I can say that we will definitely be calling him for any future tree issues we have, and will be giving his contact information to friends and family. The original form dated Sept 30, 2016 states "We hereby submit specifications and estimates for: (the following is what he wrote on his proposal (quote): Planned date 10 - 1 or 2 - 2016: removal of 1 Hackberry, an Australian Pine, a dead Ash tree, 2 bushes and all of the stumps for $1,200.00. Paid 10-5-16 Stumps are to be done within 7 days. Signed by Justin Rieke In regards to the stumps well as of today, Oct 27, 2016 that has not happened even after repeated calls to him with his first promise of this week-end or his second promise of definitely this next Saturday or Sunday for sure. Now he doesn't even return our calls. I was browsing through facebook and as always came across an ad for firewood. I decided to call but was expecting an outrageous price and a long wait for delivery. After speaking with Justin I was surprised with the price, the next day delivery guarantee and the promise to stack it, I decided to order a full cord of wood and was expecting to come home to a disaster and horrible firewood. Just the opposite. I came home to a beautiful hand stacked full cord of great wood in my back yard. They were not able to drive into the back yard so they actually hand wheeled the entire cord into my back yard. Thank you Justin and your team for an excellent job.
