Absolutely love visiting the store. The property is stunning. All the workers are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend taking the house tour, it's a really unique experience. They have limited inventory, some is discounted. A little bummed that everything is no longer discounted and the prices aren't as great. The Christmas selection is great and that area of the store in stunning. There are plenty of wineries and restaurants in Aurora to visit and make a day out of it!

Located on the outskirts of Aurora, New York is the most gorgeous farm you've ever laid your eyes on! The MacKenzie-Child's Aurora location is GORGEOUS! It's a lovely drive through the countryside to get there. Your trip will be full of wildflowers and beauty. Honestly, have someone else drive you there so you can actually enjoy the views. Upon arrival, you'll drive up a grand brick entryway to the cutest buildings. We visited on one of the barn sale days and had the opportunity to look through their entire discounted section which was an added bonus. I got to add a new Christmas decoration to my collection. The rest of our visited included marveling at the many well kept gardens and visiting their animals that are throughout the property. It was a beautiful, sunny day and there was not more that we could ask for!

I was a fan of McKenzie Child's quirky designs until I had a problem. Then I discovered their horrible customer service. They do not give a crap about you. I bought several of their tissue holders in the black & white check. After owning them for 3 or 4 months I noticed a red stain on my bathroom countertop. Turns out the enamel coating they applied did not adhere correctly or was too thin and the metal box was rusting. I contacted their customer service/sent pictures several times without reply. Several more attempts and I finally got them to respond. You are going to love this: they said that I bought a metal tissue box and what did I expect? They said sorry about my luck but there was nothing they could do for me! No, sorry about your luck! I'll never buy from you again. My advice to other potential customers is don't be sucked in by family friendly advertising - watch your back. There is nothing friendly or quaint about these guys! Buyers Beware!!

BUYER BEWARE! If you're looking for that beautiful quality craftsmanship that Mackenzie Childs has always had, you won't find it in their current merchandise. Their quality has been compromised. I have nothing against China if the quality is up to par, but this stuff Mackenzie Childs is trying to pass on as classic Mackenzie Childs merchandise is absolutely atrocious. Aside from the materials being inferior, the craftsmanship is horrendous. Clearly this was made in a factory and mass produced at the lowest quality possible. It looks like an imitation. I have the same exact canisters made several years ago, and these current jars are nothing like what I have. From a distance, they look like the real thing, but to the touch and at closer inspection, the painting looks like it was done by a child. It is pure junk. What a pity that a beautiful company has succumbed to greed and low standards. If you want quality Mackenzie Childs merchandise, I would think buying older items on line would be a better choice. I will not be re-ordering from this company.

Get your cheap crap off the internet or improve your quality or lower your absolutely ridiculous prices. I read all the 119 BBB complaints and was one of the first to post on yelp about your quality issues and overpricing in 2018. It seems many other people are having the same issues and your brand is going down the tubes. The quality of the painting on your products looks like it was painted in a 5th world country. Ceramics are an exception to this as the artwork seems "okay". This morning I tried to order some clearance items as I'm not paying your ridiculous prices for cheap products anymore. You don't even have any customer service via phone to contact for orders, only email. Excuse me but when I'm trying to buy your $12,000 Boheme Daybed and can't on the internet how do you expect your customers to purchase it? Management and quality control are horrid, as you have destroyed the Mackenzie-Childs name. I was going to purchase another $50,000 worth of furniture for my new 7,000 SF home but have decided to change designers as your products are cheap crap now. I'm actually donating all of my pieces as I will never support this brand again. You have ruined this brand and it is just so sad to see as I was one of your biggest fans. The pieces I purchased in 2010 are COMPLETELY different in terms of quality than your used garage sale items of today. You are frauding your customers for your own pathetic financial gain. Pretty sad, Greed, it's an ugly thing. I see that you have coupled with Patience Brewster. Please don't ruin this name as you have done with MC. Folks, welcome to "skimpflation" we pay the same outrageous prices and get a chair that was made in Bali for $100 and we are charged $1,200. LOL! No thanks. Never again, I'm done. Pics are of the quality of the Mackenzie-Childs of today. Pretty sad.

I only started shopping in Pip's in March of this year, it…read morewas one of those stores I've always seen on Market Street but having only just graduated college and joined the workforce, wasn't really on my radar. Now a few years into my professional career, I stopped in in March just to have a look and left with two dresses I wear all the time. I went back a week or two later . . . and a week after that . . . and a week after that . . . And now I pop in weekly just to say hi. XD But for fact, the thing that stood out to me even as a 22 year old who normally shops at TJ Maxx the first time I went is that Raquel and Sarah are so sweet and helpful, but HONEST. They will always tell you if something isn't as flattering as it could be, AND they will find you a better item that does suit your shape or coloring better. I was at a closet crossroads where I no longer wore my college clothes very often, and most of my work clothes were things I got in a rush on sale when I got my first post-college professional job. Since March, I have replaced almost all of my closet with pieces I love and feel super confident in and feel like suit my shape and style. I represented my company at a conference earlier this week, got compliments on everything from my necklace to my shoes, got home and realized I had bought every item except my purse (earrings, necklace, blouse, jeans, shoes) at Pip's. The big thing that stands out to me is that I, a 22 year old, can go in and find an entire outfit and be there at the same time as a 45 year old mom of 3 who finds a great outfit, along with a 70 year old who has been shopping there for years and still finds things she loves. They have pieces for every age and body type, and you know that whatever you get, almost no one else will have because they get such specialized stock in small amounts. The jackets and shoes I've gotten from Pip's especially are staples. I wear the jackets daily, and every shoe I've gotten from them (stiletto heels to block heel boots to pumps to sandals to sneakers) has been a good fit for my high arches and so comfortable. I wear them constantly. I really can't say enough good things about Sarah and Raquel as people, either. I am an introvert who hates shopping for the most part, and really hates clothes shopping, but being able to go have a 1:1 with Raquel especially, and have her pull things for me and give me her opinion on shape and color and all that, makes it so easy. I love stopping just to say hi to her now. Yes, Pip's is a boutique that specialized in higher quality items and luxury goods. You can find great deals on the sale rack for sure, but it is definitely the financial equivalent of shopping at Tommy Hilfiger before they closed downtown (RIP) or Nordstrom. However, the value I get buying a $100 item that does feel like a splurge in the moment but turns into a favorite in my closet I want to wear constantly to me seems like a much lower financial investment long term than the $30 item I might have gotten at a chain store but only worn on occasion because I don't love the fit and donated 6 months later. Even the fun items I buy feel like staples I will have for years to come and never get tired of. Including the pink carpenter pants I've worn everywhere from date night with heels to work to actually working on house projects. If you want a shopping experience that feels like it's truly tailored to you, to help you find things you love and will wear on repeat because you feel so confident in them, go to Pip's. Most fun "staples" you will ever buy. Sarah and Raquel take the time to truly build relationships with customers that are personal, not transactional. It was the first thing I noticed my first time shopping at Pip's, and I've just seen it more every day since.

When I took the jeans out of the wash, I found a gaping, threadbare hole at the bottom of one leg, and the very beginnings of a hole near the bottom of the other leg. I immediately returned the jeans to Bev's and requested a refund. After a week had passed, i got a call from the manager who told me I could only have a 'credit' because either my washing machine ripped the jeans or I had bleached them. I explained that my washing machine has NEVER put holes in any article of clothing (much less jeans) and that I don't, and didn't, use bleach Then the manager said, "Well, it's your word against mine." Really? Apparently it's common practice for Bev & Co. staff to call their customers "liars." Most legitimate businesses will stand by their merchandise and respect their clientele. Not the case at Bev & Co. I don't know what was wrong with these jeans but they were unquestionably defective and it was not my fault. I currently have 5 articles of clothing in my closet that I purchased from Bev & Co: One by Ttibal, two by Habitat and two by Clara Sun Woo. Not exactly a fly-by-night customer. However, I guarantee you that I just made my last purchase at this so-called boutique. And that's no lie.

The worker I encountered today wasn't super enthused and the cash register as well as fitting room didn't have an attendant there until I flagged one down. I ended up getting a dress here that was cute but had so much glitter on it that got everywhere. The glitter was all over my hair and on the floor. I noticed the worker even folded the dress away from her body to avoid getting glitter all over herself. The dresses are of cheaper quality but they do have many that look very nice.
