The food was so flavorful here. Ordered for lunch with some of my coworkers. Got the lemon pepper…read morewings platter with mac and cheese and sautéed kale. Did try the brisket and greens from another coworker. Delicious!! That brisket!! Tendernism!!! You can order delivery I believe through Uber Eats, Doordash or Grubhub but those prices definitely do change and go up so we ordered over the phone and picked up for best value. The service was very nice, it's a family run business and they got out entire order correct which included several platters and the three of their delicious homemade lemonade, strawberry limeade and the blue raspberry lemonade. The establishment is very cute and cozy on the inside, very clean as well. Sorry was in a rush on lunch break to get food and eat I forgot to get any pics b4 devouring my meal but we will be ordering again soon and definitely will next time.

This was my first time ordering from this place, and I wish I could say it was amazing. The jerk…read morechicken was definitely the highlight of the meal--full of flavor with just the right amount of spice. I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, the sides didn't meet the same standard. The collard greens tasted like they were soaked in vinegar, making them overly bitter. The mac and cheese also need a lot of work. It didn't taste homemade or even like a good store-bought version. I would recommend trying a different cheese blend or recipe because it lacked the rich, creamy flavor I was expecting. I apologize if my comments offend anyone, but when you're spending your hard-earned money, you want your meal to be worth it. I hope this feedback is taken as constructive because the jerk chicken shows that the kitchen is capable of making delicious food. Thank you, Dani

I landed from Koreatown, LA and needed a last Korean fried chicken hit. Scrolling through reviews I…read morefound this place with a decent rating. They didn't disappoint! Now I've only had 2 things on the menu so far (I recommend the secret sauce and soy garlic) though I plan to venture forward. I've Uber Eats from here too and the quality stands up!

The growing popularity of Korean fried chicken reflects a greater familiarity with Korean culture…read more Celebrated for its crispy exterior and tender interior, Korean fried chicken has been a staple late-night snack in South Korea since the late 1970s and early '80s. It's typically known as "drinking food," or anju, though Koreans also enjoy the crispy pieces of meat with non-alcoholic drinks. The dish is most often made with bone-in chicken thighs or wings that have been coated in a cornstarch mixture. Traditionally, the chicken is fried twice to take it to the next level of crunchiness. Located on a busy Stuyvesant Avenue in Union, I decided on bb.q Chicken for lunch. The acronym "bb.q" in their name stands for "Best of the Best Quality," focusing on high-quality ingredients. Upon arrival as a first-timer at this modern, well-lit, clean establishment with Korean music playing throughout, I was greeted by the staff. Their menu features fried chicken, rice bowls, and Ddeok-Bokki. I decided on the Honey Garlic Wings brushed in a savory sauce with a mild tang of garlic and Chicken Fried Rice with vegetables in a classic kimchi base. The wings were prepared fresh (~20 mins prep time). The taste was deliciously amazing and addicting with a perfect balance of crispy and juicy with the right amount of spices. The complimentary pickled radish that came with the meal had a good balance. All was prepared for takeout even if one was dining there. Portions were healthy, and the price was comparable to the area. The staff is attentive and polite. Thank you for reminding me what real good fried chicken looks and tastes like.
