The place & environment is very simple. We ordered the ceviche mixto which was D E L I C I O U S!! The lomo saltado was good. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is because they did not have the agua de chicha morada that was offered in the menu, and the menu items were not updated. Other than that the food was great!

Well, half the menu items are gone. Didn't order desserts but just by looking at them you can tell it's dry.

And yes, there will be a next time. I ordered the 1/4 chicken platter that came with fries and a salad. The chicken leg was cooked perfectly. The seasonings were well balanced and delicious. Nice to find a place to get pollo à la brasa in the area. The fries were hand cut and perfectly cooked. The side salad was a nice size. I had enough fries and salad leftover for the next day. I tried some of the yucca huancain and it was good. The yucca seemed overcooked. The sauce was a little too thick. It may be because it was take out so the dish got cold. The flavors were on point but the texture not so much. The purple corn drink was so unique. I never had it before but highly recommend it!! I can't even explain it. Not super sweet and a hint of fruit. The sweet potato donuts lacked flavor but the dipping sauce helped. The flan was my favorite. It was thicker and creamier than I'm used to and really enjoyed it.

Not really spicy but good!! Next time I would get the steak with pesto linguine but not get ceviche and yucca fries!

We came specifically to try the tapas and loved every dish we ordered. My husband's favorite was the Gambas al Ajillo. He loved it so much that he ordered a second plate immediately after finishing the first. I couldn't decide between the Bruselas Catalana and the Coca de Alcachofas, loved both, and would definitely order both again. The overall experience exceeded our expectations and was totally worth the visit.

The ambiance of Amada's is very "date night intimate". The lighting is fairly dim and the temperature of the restaurant is kept a bit warmer (the open marches concept probably also has something to do with that). It is tapas style so whole my boyfriend and I waited for the paella, we got a few plates to graze on. We started with a charcuterie with the jamon Serrano and manchego cheese. Im a big fan of truffle honey and you can't really go wrong with a simple charcuterie. We also got the setas and ensalada Verde. The mushrooms were well sautéed and the sauce they were served with was absolutely delicious. The ensalada verde was very much green heavy but thats exactly what we wanted. It was auite refreshing and the oil dressing wasn't overpowering the taste or making it feel greasy. The Paella we got was the squid ink rice - very flavorful. There was shrimp, clams, squid, and chucks of monk fish. It didn't feel like the seafood was skimped on. The only thing I personally felt was too much was the spicy mayo dallops. I felt like they made the dish feel heavier than necessary and overpowered the taste of the rice. The arroz con Leche was divine. Im biased because I love rice pudding but I think adding the puffed rice on touch was such a nice touch.
