Shortly after I got my HP laptop, one day, the battery died before I could plug it back in. Once I…read moredid plug it in, it was dead. D - E - A - D, dead; not a single light would come on. Terrified that I had somehow caused permanent damage to my shiny new laptop, I desperately looked for a repair place near my office. These guys were close by and said they'd take a look at it while I waited, so I ran over there on my lunch break. When I explained the problem, the guy said he was pretty sure he knew what happened and proceeded to not only fix it, but fix it right in front of me, explaining what he was doing, so I could do it myself if the same thing happened again. I was there for about 10 minutes total, but I happily wrote a check for $50, knowing that was the ONLY time I'd have to do it. Since then, I have not only used the fix he taught me MULTIPLE times on my own laptop, I even taught a couple of my friends the same trick, saving them a trip to the repair shop.

On July 14, I suddenly couldn't log in to my credit union's app. At the same time, I saw notifications about verification emails from my credit union -- but those emails didn't appear in my Gmail app. When I called the credit union, they informed me that someone had attempted to add a fraudulent external account from Green Dot Bank. As they put it, "The credit union determined this was suspicious activity and restricted online access to my account." No money was taken, but they required me to create a new email address and have all my devices checked for malware before restoring access. I first visited another technician who was pleasant but whose investigation didn't leave me confident. So I sought a second opinion -- and that's when I found PC Helper Team. Soroush returned my call within ten minutes and invited me to their Westwood Blvd office. Hector checked my iPhone immediately and confirmed it was clean, then kept my iPad and computer for a deeper analysis. Within a day or two, Soroush contacted me with the real cause of the breach: I had unknowingly clicked on a fake Evite invitation that led to a fake Google verification page. I entered my Google credentials without noticing the red "Dangerous" warning or the incorrect web address. It looked like a legitimate Evite link -- and even with my banking background and years of training, I fell for it. See the image below. PC Helper also discovered that the perpetrator accessed my American Airlines AAdvantage account and converted 20,000 miles into Lululemon gift cards. Thankfully, it wasn't worse. What sets PC Helper apart is that they didn't just diagnose the problem -- they explained exactly what happened, walked me through securing my accounts, and gave me clear instructions to prevent future attacks. As I wrote in my notes, "Because they found what actually happened and provided detailed instructions... I am able to sleep at night." Thank you, Soroush and Hector. Your professionalism, thoroughness, and kindness made all the difference.

PCHelperTeam has been incredible to work with, and I want to specifically highlight the exceptional…read moreservice provided by Soroush and his team. They handled several major projects for my accounting firm, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. First, they set up a secure, fully optimized server environment tailored specifically for our workflow. They configured everything to integrate seamlessly with Lacerte, ensuring that our tax software runs smoothly, securely, and without the performance hiccups we were experiencing before. Second, Hector and Soroush optimized both our hardware and software across the office. They went through each workstation, cleaned up inefficiencies, and made sure our systems were performing at their best--faster boot times, quicker software response, and overall smoother operation. They also set up a new Dell XPS laptop for me, and this part really stood out. Instead of giving me a generic Windows install, they built a curated, streamlined Windows operating system that included exactly what my accounting firm needs and nothing unnecessary. The device runs exceptionally fast and feels like it was designed specifically for my workflow. On top of all of this, they took cybersecurity extremely seriously. They encrypted all my devices and configured a safe, professionally secured server with strong protections. The peace of mind knowing my client data is protected to accounting-industry standards is priceless. Hector and Soroush were not only knowledgeable, but also patient, clear in their explanations, and genuinely focused on doing things the right way--not just the fast way. Their expertise and professionalism make them stand out in the IT service world. If you're looking for reliable, highly skilled tech support--especially for a business environment--PCHelperTeam is the best you'll find. I can't recommend them enough.

I had a video project on Windows Movie Maker that just would not save correctly in mp4 and the video would look horrible while playing. I know it's an old program that no really uses anymore so I didn't know if anyone could figure out what was wrong or how to fix it. But the video was sentimental to me so i wanted to save it if at all possible. One obstacle was that the video could only be fixed on my laptop because the project cannot be transferred to another computer without losing the individual photos and video clips associated. But my laptop was also on the verge of dying. It was so old, trying to do anything on it took forever and was such a pain. I was desperate so I brought it in. Fernando worked painstakingly on my computer for hours and hours and after 2 days, he was able to do everything I needed! I was so surprised. Since my laptop was dying, he replaced the hard drive, upgraded my computer, and transferred all my files over. With the new hard drive it was much faster to work with, so he then reinstalled Windows Movie Maker and was able to fix my video project!!!! I am beyond the moon. I finally have a beautiful version of my video and I don't have to worry about losing it if my laptop dies since it can now we saved elsewhere Also, he was very fair with pricing. He gave me several options of choosing what I wanted, such as keeping the new hard drive and the video, or just the video, or even declining everything and keeping everything exactly how it was before. I really liked the work Fernando did so I chose to keep the new hard drive and my video. Now, in addition to my video i also have a better laptop! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone having computer issues. They're so friendly here and really do all they can to fix every individual issue you have.
