Wanted to try a Machetes mean sandwich. I ordered the Pastrami sandwich. It had a thick serving of Pastrami and many delicious extras. I did ask for oregano. There's a free list of extras as well as extras u can buy. The service was polite and courteous. Cool ambiance with the checkerboard black/white floor. Ample free covered parking is available.

New sandwich shop in Aiea! Located in the same parking lot as Mc Donald's, Ice Garden, and Aiea Pancake House. We met the owner Rachel and she was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the Turkey Avocado Bacon and Pastrami. The bread was made very well and all ingredients were delicious! We asked about her style of bread and she told us her husband perfected the recipe since he majored in computer science. Great texture and flavors!! Reuben and I had fun talking story and showing Magic tricks too. Mahalo and look forward to next time!

We were passing by and saw this new location in Aiea Shopping Center. Owner Rachel greeted us and was very kind. It was clean and modern with a few tables inside. They're were outdoor seating as well. We had the Avocado, Bacon, and Turkey sandwich and the Pastrami. The bread was thick so I thought it would have been a little too much. But after the first bite, it was soft yet firm enough to hold its shape. The flavors all came together and it was delicious. They have 2 other restaurants on the island, but this one is close to home. We'll be back soon to try other items on the menu. Great experience!

So I've seen the other locations while driving and been wanting to try the Aiea location but never get to bc my lunch is at 1 and if hubs picks me up for lunch he doesn't want to get caught in after school traffic when we pau. But today was a holiday so we got to have this long awaited lunch. It was empty so we had the place to ourselves and service was quick. A few reviews said the sandwich was not bread than meat but I think that depends on which sandwich you get bc the menu states how much meat is coming in the varying offers. I got one of the "meanest" sandwiches so it came with a double portion of meat. So I thought the bread to meat ratio was fine. And the bread is homemade and delicious. I chose wheat. Mind you, it's not a Rueben. So no rye bread or thousand island dressing. But good for a pastrami sandwich. I should have added free tomatoes and lettuce maybe tho. The hot mustard was nice on it tho. Hubs got the Machete which is their absolutely biggest sandwich on white bread. It came with so much meat and fixins it was almost difficult to fit on my mouth. Also very tasty. Our bill came out to just over $30 so kind of standard. Will come again given the chance or if in the area.

I tried The Machete Sandwich and it was a lot. They really packed a lots in it and it tasted good also. The service was good also so it just made everything better.

    1/2 of the pastrami.

Glad they opened up in Aiea, in the old Rabbit Rabbit spot. Love their sandwiches, bread is awesome. Service is good, get few tables inside with the a/c.

The Italian on white bread with all the fixings.

Open again in their new space downstairs between Starbucks and L&L. Same great sandwiches in another location.

Did not feel welcomed, no smile, no thank you. A little pricey which would've been fine but not if theres zero customer service. Sad

Solid sandwiches but I ordered 8-10 sandwiches for a lunch and not ready when I arrived. Not apologetic just matter of fact.

Sandwiches made with soft white bread and not French bread. A little on the expensive side but well worth it.

I'm amazed how fast they were when making sandwiches for me and my parents. The workers were attentive and swift. There was an assembly line of them making the sandwiches in house. It was towards the end of the day so they ran out of most of their choice's of bread , tomato, and sprouts (complimentary toppings) which is no biggie. Ordered three "Vinny" which is like an Italian sandwich with wheat bread (which all they had that night) my choice of seasonings, oil and red onions. It was well made sandwich wrapped nicely, no spills since I had some oils, however I prefer to try that sandwich with a different bread next time and wish there was a little more protein. Inside the shop, was very clean, but bright like being in a yellow blue submarine that's trying to be tropical. Overall, it's a friendly atmosphere with the walls giving "military on tropical island vibes" lol I mean it is near base and they do have some variety of vickies and utz chips at the front of store. Will be back next time to try other options.

The flavors were on point, perfectly balanced, and seriously satisfying. Even with a solid crowd when I came in, they moved at a great pace and had my order out pretty quickly, which I definitely appreciated. The shop itself is clean, well kept, and welcoming. You can tell they take pride in their establishment. Now here's my one (very passionate) request: as a sandwich spot, I would LOVE to see a true NYC bodega style chopped cheese added to the menu. Ever since my trip to New York City, I've been reminiscing about those chopped cheese sandwiches nonstop. There's just something different about them. It honestly surprises me that on the island we can find cheesesteaks everywhere, but not a single place offering a legit chopped cheese! If you guys ever decide to add a proper chopped cheese to the lineup, I promise I'd be a weekly regular without hesitation. I know I'm not the only one who would appreciate it! Until then, I'll definitely be back for another Earl's Cheesesteak. Solid food, clean atmosphere, and great service. Keep it up, and please consider bringing a chopped cheese to the island!

The chipotle chicken was also really good a bit on the heavier side but a lot of chicken included. I did think the sandwich was going to be bigger for the price of almost $20 a sandwich. Won't be an everyday thing but definitely a nice treat.
