I stopped by here and filled up my car with gas. I noticed my tire was low and so I asked the lady at the register if she could turn on the air for me. You should know that it is California law that gas stations provide free compressed air. So anyway, the lady was very nice and asked me to go ask the man working at the auto service center to help me. Like a good citizen I headed over to talk to him and in my nicest tone ask for help. Well, the response I got blew me away quite literally. Like damn he was rude!!!! He yelled at me that he could not do that for me and told me to leave. Remember I literally just purchased $70 worth of gasoline and I was never rude nor demanding. He simply looked at me and decided he wasn't helping me. Frankly, there was no reason to be treated like I was a piece of *%#&. I was having a great morning too and was all jolly when all of a sudden this awful human who owns this place decided to do this. Not ok and luckily I didn't it get to me. But since it was such a terrible experience I figured you should be aware. How do you have the nerve to be this rude to your neighbors is beyond me. It's sad bc im sure it's a small ma'&pa' shop but you don't get to treat people in your neighborhood like this especially in this state of the world. So I'd suggest avoiding this place. First let me say they did do some prior work on my car.They replaced the serpentine belt, they put in a new fuel pump, an oil pressure senser. But that when the problem started, they tested my oil pump , after that my car started making a strange noise. So when I took the car back to them, Son said it was my alternator, need to replace $799.00, they replaced the alternator, I pay them get in my car the noise is still there. I'm hey you guys didn't fix the problem, he says drive it a while and see what happens. Then I take it back to them , they work on it all day , I get my car back the noise is still there. So Son was cool he gave me my money back. I tell him ill just take it to the ford dealer. The next day my car won't start battery not charged, I call AAA get it jumped. They very next day I go to start the car, battery dead. Now im upset, Son misdiagnosed the problem , and put in a bad alternator. I call him and say you guys screwed up my car. At first he said the alternator he put in was fine. After he had my car all day, he says the alternator he put in was no good, and he would put my the alternator he took out my car back in. They keep my car over night. I go to get my car finally the strange noise is gone. But guess what, not my check engine light is on. They had changed my oil two weeks before, but now my oil Is dark and dirty. I call hey Son what did you guys do to my car. Son tells me he does not want to work on my car, take it somewhere else. I tell you worked on my car now the check engine light is on. He ignores my calls. I had never had any problem with there work before. Also his brother Broke my oil dip stip, and had to replace it. I believe that's why my oil is dirty bottom line is they used to do good work, I don't know what happened .Zero stars. read more

Brought my car in for a slow leak in one tire. Chris took the tire off to investigate - nothing in it, no major problems with the valve stem. Super helpful, quick, honest and reasonable service. My car wasn't starting without having to be jumpstart. I took it to this one auto shop that had replaced my alternator one month ago for them to check on the issue. They tested the alternator and the battery and claimed it was the starter. I was going to pay an additional $400 within 2 months to get my car fixed, but everyone told me prior that it should be the battery I was recommended by a friend to come here instead and it turns out it was just a weak battery. I had it replaced within less than 30 minutes and all was well again. Saved me money and a ton of hassle! read more

My car was vibrating when driving at high speeds (65+mph) and I needed some new tires. Gave the owner a call and took the car in for some new tires (tire balance and rotation also) and to diagnose the issue of the vibration. The mechanic was able to find the problem and fix the car in only a day! Turns out that the front lower arms of my car needed to be replaced. Highly recommend for fast and responsive service! I was about to leave on a road trip and noticed that there were is a small leak of some fluid underneath the front of my car. Alarmed and concerned, I went to AMA, but they turned me away is too busy, but told me that this place might be able to help. And they did! Son told me to just pull the car right up, he put it on a rack, looked where I said the fluid was coming from, identified it as a minor gear oil leak from the axle-transmission juncture, and said it would be fine to drive on until we got back. He also checked all the cars fluids, and poured in some extra brake fluid Because it was at the minimum. He only charged me $30. Very nice that he made the time to help somebody in a jam. Son was able to find the part at a pick and pull and was able to get the car ready to go in just two business days over the long weekend. So I came here for an oil change. "Come back in one hour." I came back. "Can you come back in one hour?" Me: "i just did." "Do you want to drop the car off?" Me: "You have my car, where am I supposed to go?" I get the car back and there is a shit load of oil stains on my driver's seat upholstery. I tell them about it and he gets an oil filled rag to wipe it down and I tell him that I'll get it cleaned myself and leave before something else bad happens. Lastly, I drive the car home and it's smoking like crazy because they spilled oil all over the engine and the oil is burning off. Don't go here for anything. If you mess up an oil change I'm sure you're going to be messing up any other kind of repair/maintenance. read more

Had oxygen sensors replaced. Was not given an estimate when I dropped off my car and had to keep calling to check in and see what was going on with the job. They ended up taking nearly five full days to do it. I called ahead of time to let them know when I would be picking up my car, and when I arrived I was completely blocked in. Went for an oil change, and about my brakes and other things since I planned to haul a trailer long distance. All the manager kept saying was that everything was too expensive -- including saying that about the $50 oil change. When they told me my car was done, all they had done was the oil change and change the lights in the upper brake light for a marked up price (and while most were burnt out, I had just changed out a couple of them, yet they replaced all of them). When I asked about the other issues, he said I had 3 separate leaks but wouldn't give me a price. When I pressed, he said several thousands but still wouldn't give me a direct answer. Finally, I asked about my brakes and he said they were fine. They were not. So not only are they incompetent and/or liars, they were a putting my life at risk by pretending to have looked at my brakes-- the whole reason I went to them in the first place. They had come as a referral, and I told my friend never again to refer this place to anyone. Went to another repair place: European Auto Repair off Berry Street in Hayward. Naimat, the mechanic, was amazing!!! IMMEDIATELY saw the issue (brake & rotors), and didn't see any mysterious leaks. It's worth it to drive to Hayward. read more

I noticed that my car was leaking oil, so took it into a mechanic. They told me that whomever changed my oil previously put the drain plug in crooked, causing the threads to wear and the oil pan needing to be replaced. This will cost $400. I called Sun (owner) and he said he would replace the oil pan if it needed to be replaced. I appreciate this offer, however, I am wary to trust this shop again and don't want to waste my time/energy. read more

Son did me right. I had a battery cable problem that I tried to fix myself. Son said it would be $100 just to get under the hood and he would call if it would cost much more than that. He called said it was fixed and charges me $100. I could have tried myself with a $20 kragen part but worth just having a professional do it so my car wouldn't stall on freeway. read more
