Food: Almond croissant is delicious. Crispy, flaky, soft interiors with a beautiful almond filling. This is the best almond pastry I've had in Columbus. I'd highly recommend. Maple pecan twist is delicious. Soft with a sweet maple glaze and crunchy pecans to top. This was beautiful down and tasted fantastic. If you're a pecan lover this is for you. I'd highly recommend. Pumpkin morning bun was phenomenal. This is one of the best pumpkin pastries I've ever had. A true pumpkin flavor with a soft buttery pastry. I'd insist on this item. Crème Brûlée Eclair was good. Butter pastry with a crunchy caramel topping and a sweet very well made cream filling. This was my first eclair and I'm not disappointed. I'd recommend. Plum cranberry Almond Tart was delicious. The plums and cranberries were fresh and added a nice freshness to the almond base tart. I'd highly recommend. Chocolate bombe was great. Cold ganache filling with dark chocolate chunks and a beautiful ganache and cocoa powder over the top. I'd recommend for chocolate lovers. Chocolate Caramel Pecan Feuilletine was great. It genuinely tasted like an upscale turtle. If turtles are something you'd enjoy. I'd highly recommend.

I think the issue is with the chocolate they use for the mocha but it had such an odd flavor that I couldn't bring myself to finish it. The croissant was fine and not memorable and I won't say too much on the macaron because I think I just realized I'm not really a macaron person so I can't fairly judge them there. The cafe is itty bitty and there is absolutely no seating inside so it's more of a grab and go situation. There are a few seats outside so hopefully you can snag a seat when the weather is nicer. Overall, I think there are a lot of other good coffee shops in Columbus that I don't see myself going out of my way to come back.

We happened to walk over from a few blocks away, but there was snow and ice on every sidewalk - it sucked to get there tbh. Can't do anything about the massive building being build practically on top of this historic building, but that's Columbus for you. So if you don't mind walking a bit in potentially garbage weather with untended sidewalks, it's super fun to visit. Jeni's is always a treat for dessert, but so is Buckeye Donuts. The Crepes menu sounds amazing, too. We tried Satori ramen bar and it was hot and flavorful! The bakery next to Satori on the corner has amazing baked goods, too.

I had the croque madame (croque senior with a fried egg on top) and it was fabulous. Two pieces of focaccia or some similar type of bread with Swiss ham and bechamel sauce in between. It was superb. Very well made and so delicious. The hand squeezed orange juice was also good (although I wish I had ice but I realize that is not normal probably) and a size of baguette. Everything tasted handmade delicious and well balanced. I would definitely be back - not sure how they aren't averaging above a 4 star because their food is delicious as far as I can tell.

For their lunch items I've tried Vol Au Vent and beef bourguignon (both 3). The service always has been meh, around a 2 or 3. Today was my worst experience by far. I got a quiche lorraine and a french onion soup to go. When I went home the french onion soup did not have croutons or cheese with it, which I feel like is my favorite part of this soup. I did not realize you had to pay extra nor was I asked if I wanted this. The quich lorraine in the past has been around a 3.5. This one tasted like soap. I don't know if someone thing got into the eggs or dough but it was awful and I'd rate it a one. I was very bummed about my experience today and lack of service and likely won't be back here for a while. If I am really craving a croissant I may come back, but I feel like there are better places for quiches, french onion soup and breakfast in the area that are also cheaper.

It was good while it was hot, but as it cooled down it became inedible. The onions became soggy and congealed together. I ordered the Cuban sandwich. Overall, I thought it was good but nothing fancy. The fries were cold and hard. This was a disappointing experience overall but I was sorely disappointed in how poor the service was and how annoyed the bartenders seemed to be.
