Stopped here passing through from out of town. I had a burrito and although it was greasy/wet style, it was delicious and I devoured it. Chips and salsa on the side were good too. Bathroom, although a little banged up, was very clean. Highly recommend if you're passing by and need a bite to eat. Business hours are 11-8 Mon-Sat, closed Sundays. read more

Great service, nice waitstaff, good food, and decent prices! The places looks a little sketchy from the outside and isn't anything fancy, but worth the stop! Their salsa is different and has cabbage in it, but it's so good and a nice change from other Mexican restaurants that are all the same. read more

I was pretty disappointed in this. The outside is definitely not what I was expecting, and the inside matched the outside in my opinion. The service was friendly, and the food was meh. I had a Fajita burrito and it was honestly meh at best. The chips and salsa were ok. The chips fantastic, the salsa much lacking. Overall I wasn't happy with it, but obviously others enjoy it! This little gem was quite a surprise, just off I-84 at the Port of Morrow. The decor was typical small Mexican restaurant. My husband ordered Camarones a la diabla and I had Pollo a la crema. The beans were creamy and flavorful and the rice was the best I have ever eaten in a restaurant. The sauce on the camarones was spicy, but not too hot. The crema was rich and filled with chicken and veggies. Service was prompt and friendly. We look forward to stopping again when we are passing through. read more

We stopped by MacArios on our way to Idaho from Washington, saw the reviews on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The food and service were good, waiter was very friendly. We definitely recommend MacArios if you are passing through this area. BTW we were on a month long road trip towing our 5th wheel, plenty of space to park and easy to get to. read more

Stoped here today after a long day of traveling and doing photography nearby. We found this little gem on yelp. It's kind of hidden away in a semi-industrial area. My carne asada was excellent and my two friends loved their meals as well. Service was top shelf. I'll be back if I'm anywhere near here in the future. 5/5 stars!!! read more

Broke down in boardman. This place made the thousands of dollars and missed days with family worth it all. Service was quick, the cabbage salsa was phenomenal, but most of all, the fajitas rancheros was the best thing I have tasted in my life. Perfectly sauteed onions, crisp green peppers, a healthy amount of cheese above well seasoned chicken and bacon-wrapped (!!!) shrimp. Hands down, the only place in Boardman to love. read more

Driving through Boardman we looked in Yelp for a place to eat. This place had quite a few good reviews so we tried it. It doesn't look like much from the outside but has a nice Mexican feel inside. The food was delicious, plentiful and is well deserving of the 4.5 stars! I give it 5 stars for the food. Can't comment on the drinks since we didn't have a margarita as we still had a ways to go. read more

It was well after noon and we needed good food. This place featured in all vegetarian menu and we enjoyed an avocado tostada and Guadalajara burrito. Strawberry lemonade was made with real whole strawberries! Service was very good, and the food tasted delicious. read more

It can be a long hungry drive between Portland and, say, Spokane, Idaho, and other points west, but this place is perfectly situated for a wonderful lunch. Judging from all the Spanish spoken and the number of local workers eating here, it's a local favorite and it's easy to see why: wonderful burritos, satisfying and delicious rice and beans, and--my favorite--huevos rancheros with a ranchero sauce that I still savor thinking about it. The staff are warm and friendly, and the food comes fast. It's tucked into a corner of a building and easy to miss among the industrial outfits, but well worth the stop, especially considering that you can drive for miles off the highway toward Umatilla and never see a place to eat, especially if you prefer local restaurants over chains. Both Boardman and the Port of Morrow exits get you to Macorio's, but perhaps the latter is closest. read more

The 5 stars are because of what this place is for where it is. Like others, we yelped it as we were driving back to Portland. We had the lunch special Burrito and sopitas. The food was fresh, and the flavors very authentic. We had horchata that was very nice. Not cloyingly sweet like some. Given a choice of eating early or late in Pendleton or The Dalles, you should consider stopping here. read more
