Titanic, a prime rib sandwich w/ fries.

As a customer, my boyfriend & I started coming a few weeks ago for dates. I used to spend weekends here drinking w/ my friends when I was younger & not much has changed, it's still a nice spot to hang out but seems to be not nearly as busy as it used to. Our food has been good all except for the fish & chips, my fish wasn't seasoned enough to my liking & their side salads aren't good but I suppose you could request iceberg lettuce instead of romaine. The frozen drinks are great but could use a little more alcohol. The frozen ice cream sandwich is to die for. The bang bang shrimp is our favorite of the appetizers. The service is good & everyone is very friendly. As a Dasher w/ DoorDash who picks up from here often, I've never had to wait for an order upon arrival.

We had friendly service but the food lacked flavor as in the case of the salsa con queso. Even the tortilla chips tasted a little stale. Cheeseburger was okay but I needed extra ketchup to put some flavor into it. Overall I felt the food was a little bland.

ordered takeout for lunch and it was delish! service was great while placing my oder & my sandwich was perfect!

Beware if you go to Macados in Lynchburg NEVER have I or any of my family been treated so poorly from any waiters or waitresses. Our so called waitress was so rude over us having family in town and wanting to put two tables together instead of sitting separately. So we decided to leave Then she proceeded to follow us outside when we left, trying to argue and fight us all over one person in our party saying you are all acting like bitches. Which, the one waitress was indeed being a bitch . I would've put a zero review if I could because this waitress was super unprofessional.

When your not provided a timeline and you specifically tell both the hostess and the waiter your in a hurry that's a problem. First time at this chain as it was conveniently located from the Liberty University pool. My son wanted to try and rarely do I not insist on looking at reviews. With a rush I said why not and this was a critical error on my part. Place was rustic inside with lobby case full of Simpson memorabilia, cheesy much but that's the possible allure of the place for kids maybe. The restaurant was probably 85% capacity. So yes they were busy. Seated ourself in bar area after hostess told us it was the quickest service. Asked bartender to assist us and advised my son needed food out ASAP with returning to the pool. No mention of any issue at all. After waiting 35 minutes for the equivalent of a Subway Melt sandwich I asked the timeline by going over to bar and speaking with the male server. I told him again we were in a hurry....remember. He left for 5 minutes and returned with it would be another 25-30 minutes. At that point I told him I was disappointed that he said nothing of an hour timeline to get food which should have been conveyed at time of ordering. We immediately left and had no time for food before returning to the pool. This is absolutely my fault for not checking the poor reviews before coming here. Lesson learned. But the restaurant bears the burden to communicate wait times, especially when a customer says they are in a pinch for time.

Macado's is one of those cool, kitschy diners with cool wall decor and great food. Their Blues Brothers burger is really good, and their hot fudge sundaes are as good as they look. I also have to commend them for their drinks; they were good and STRONG! Our server was very, very friendly and made fun conversation.

This place is sketch as all hell, but they serve passable food. If you're looking for by the barest definition of "food" and aren't looking for frills, service, or a non-sticky booth table, I suggest giving this place a try. The food wasn't bad but it also tastes like it was assembled with a wiki-how tutorial. It didn't give me food poisoning. Everything here is from like 8-15 dollars. If you're hungry and willing to roll the dice. Come here! I'm not even going to describe the food I received here because it doesn't matter, I assume it all tastes the same. You could close your eyes, order, and get something effectively the same as what I got. I will comment and say the burger buns were titanic. Like got buns hun? Damn.

This was a huge project for a local business. The food was simple burgers , chicken sandwich BBQ hot dogs chips fries and can soda. A speciality day on one of the Saturday's that was to be a hearty meatloaf mashed potatoes and green beans. The workers for the truck were not available most evening or night shift hours and 5 of the 11 days they just did not bother to show up for any shift. So poorly executed for the men and women of the project that just wanted a hot meal. Do not book this food truck..... if you do get it in writing the exact times of availability and prices from the menu and all selections. Really poor service. Do not recommend.

They apparently didn't have any pickles or didn't bother to include one (i do not care which) and since they didn't "charge me" for the pickle it's fine to just not include it and not tell me it wasn't included. Since the sandwich was a soggy ugly mess and contained ingredients I'm allergic to, i wasted $20 and ate a bag of lays potato chips for lunch. The sandwich is stinking up my trash can as we speak. I guess they call it Zero subs for a reason because i would give this place 0/10. I'm upgrading to a 3 because even though Waitr was unwilling to help, i spoke to a supervisor at the shop and he was very nice and offered to refund me since I couldn't eat the food.
