Find another company in SF for your Apple tech issues. (Mac Pros is a shady enterprise and not worthy of your hard-earned money.) We spent almost six hundred dollars on the repair after having taken in our MacBook and cord. They've returned the laptop via mail and insist we did NOT provide the cord. We did. So we are basically being referred to as liars and told to look at a video of our visit. However there were NUMEROUS customers who could have easily and unintentionally walked off with it.They insist we are wrong. Find a company with integrity. You won't find it here. read more

I can't say enough good things about the local Mac Pros. When my phone quit working but was still under warranty, they came to my rescue. They were unbelievably patient, knowledgeable, and kind. They took the time to determine the issue, explained the repair process clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. One of the worst experiences I have had. Apple should be ashamed that this store is representing them here in Sioux Falls. I have had issues with my Mac book air and wanted to have it looked at. I walked in and explained what has been happening to my Mac. The first thing the sales associate said when he opened my Mac is "what is this?!" And I asked what? He points at my keyboard which I had just wiped down with a Wipe because it was dusty. He goes to explain "you know water and electronics don't mix". From there I decided to walk out. Awful service. Called from long distance to arrange battery replacement in advance. Offered to pay for battery and was told it was not necessary, battery would be on hand when I drove there two weeks later and could be done same day. Left all contact information and was told it was scheduled. Then, when confirming by phone the day before, was told I had to make two trips - one to look at the mac and then order and then a second trip to have installed as "it was a non-stock battery. It's been a while since I've updated my review on Mac Pros and I must say that I am impressed. The atmosphere has change a lot and is more inviting and the staff I've encountered with are great. My wife and I are Apple users and any issues I have had or questions were answered right away and with honest answers. We used them for AppleCare + claims on our iPhones twice and got them exchanged without an issue and they were quick in doing so. Definitely my one stop Apple shop in town. read more

I found them to be very helpful. The hard drive in my very old macbook finally died and they tried everything possible to save it. They weren't successful but were still great to work with. I asked a lot of questions about this, my desktop and some IOS specific questions and they were great. Besides, I think they are the only apple care authorized provider in Sioux Falls. read more

$169 refurbished IPhone 5 WITH a charger - you can't beat that, currently. I almost paid nearly twice that next door. I'm glad I decided to check with them! They are not very chatty; they wanna get you in and out and on your way, which is cool. So far the phone is good...let's hope it stays that way... :) read more

Went the extra mile with Apple to cover the cost of repairs.

They were fast at fixing my problem. The young man that help me was vary nice. They even gave me a renter phone until my new one came in.

Alright service, was told i would be notified within two hours of me bringing it in. Never got a call so I went to the store and asked if it was done. Sure enough it was sitting there with my phone number on top of it! Got home and had a 2011 operating system downloaded. read more

I have been to Mac Pros five times and each time I would walk in I was hoping I would have better service than the previous visit. The owner was not friendly each time and I did not feel welcome in the store to have help with my computer. read more

There are two "Mac stores" in SF - MacPros is one. I've purchased over 25 Macs over the years - 15 locally. Most from MacPros in all of its ownership iterations. Doing a google-search for the phone number, I found this Yelp listing and noticed the 1-star. To be fair, the critic has a point. MacPros is not a really outgoing, dynamic place - until they hire someone who fits the bill, you won't be greeted with a hug. The place is run by introverts. They're low-energy sorts. But I can think of three employees that are stellar at knowing the product and being ethical in the sale - as in selling what suited the customer best at expense of a higher ticket. I've found MacPros to be consistently helpful, honest and sincere about their passion for Apple Tech. So, in contrast to the prior critic, I recommend MacPros with the caveat that the place is very low-key. If the customer is looking for a more polished sales-culture visit MacDoctors. Either one will sell/service just fine. But I choose MacPros But for the best Apple experience? Get in the car/plane and go to an Apple store. :) read more

I would avoid this service store like the plague. Spent 1hour and 45minutes and got the run around. My iPhone 6 has the touch screen problem that is prevalent in this model. I was told that my "under warranty" phone would cost $99 plus change to be fixed. Apple Care had insured me that there would be NO CHARGE. Then I was told it was my fault. Apparently, I had placed a slight curve in my phone by carrying it in my pants pocket - even though it was in a hard case from day one. I finally asked to see a manager. After a five minute wait I was told that he was busy. However, I was told that they would summon a second manager to address my concerns. After a 10-15 minute wait I finally walked out of the store. read more

Every thing I hear about these people is no good. I went there not to long ago to ask some questions and it seemed like I was bothering them and they didn't really answer any of my questions. Waste of time! I went to MacDoctors here in Sioux Falls (also certified Apple Repair store) and my goodness they were 110% better! Go to MacDoctors! read more

I'm not saying the entire store is not knowledged in macs but the store manager could learn a thing or too. He spent 20 minutes in the bathroom leaving a line of ten customers. Come on! be more professional. I also was not fully satisfied with the service on my device. read more

After waiting 6 weeks for an appointment, I went in to get my phone battery replaced. When they opened it up they told me they couldn't safely remove the battery because it was leaking from prior work done and I'd just have to get a new phone. They showed me a smudge on the battery as proof of the danger. Turns out the evil smudge was just a bit of glue. When I went back and asked them to take another look they flat out refused and told me point blank they would not be servicing the phone ever. Went to Simply Mac and walked out 20 minutes later with a brand new battery - no whining involved, just results. read more
