I travelled from out of town on 23rd to see a sign saying sorry we are closed! called the store, answering machine said "for best service, come in, open 12-6". Frustrating hearing that, while standing at store reading a hand written sorry we are closed sign. Especially after telling me they would be open that day, over the phone, 72hrs prior. The quote was adjusted down! Said it was a quick easy repair, and because they were not there when they said they would be, would not charge me full price. But during the initial quote they said if it was easy repair, he would not charge me full price...having said all that Item was repaired sucessfully, and in a timely manner. I would have much rather payed the full price and not have my time wasted.

Going into JTG was quite a different experience from previous iPhone problems providers I have tried. No appointment , no signing in and then waiting in a mall until called, service reps that used lingo, I could not understand or not having the ability to discuss with me the problems I was having with my phone without dismissing what I was saying or showing their impatience and annoyance when dealing a person who had computer limitations. Dave who ended up working on my iPhone was friendly, patient, informative and knowledgeable. My phone did not get fixed because Microsoft needs time to update some of my Info but Dave set that up for me to get done and then the rest of the repairs can be done. I walked out of there feeling good and relieved that I have a great place to go back with any other computer type problems and know they will be dealt with quickly and honestly. JTD System policy is that if you bring something in and they are not able to fix it, the customer does not pay. What a great way to run a business!

I called back to inform her I wasn't who she thought I was and she tried to explain that I sound just like this women and how annoying it is that she is in the middle of stuff having to pick up the phone, meanwhile giving me attitude the whole time. Rarely do I review businesses on Google, but this is one of those times where I feel I need to help others who are thinking of taking their precious device to these people who's front is fixing phones. I needed a new screen on my (very expensive) Mate 10. They quoted me $300 to fix it and I agreed, since it is not a very popular device in Canada. I waited one month, no calls... Finally after about 1.5 months, I called again and said the phone was ready. When picking the phone up, I noticed the home button was dangling by its wire... Honey (the owner) told me to be careful with the phone and that I would need a better case. I thought, 'OK, this is NOT cool, but i will just crazy glue it and not worry too much.' When I arrived home, I took the phone out of the case, and that's when I noticed the entire back of the phone was smashed and then the back fell right off. Then I noticed the "new" screen replacement wasn't even put back properly... Despite all of this, i figured the phone would still be useful, however, that's when I noticed there was NO SIM CARD TRAY!!! They took my SIM card tray and didn't give it back... So now the phone is completely useless. Their store is a front for something else, as there is NO WAY that these people know what they're doing. If you dig deeper in their reviews (past all the paid FAKE ones) you'll find people with the exact same problems as I describe. In my opinion, the police should be investigating this joint.
