I wasn't actually needing a repair, but had been REALLY struggling with not being able to move files between my Mac and Android phone. (If Apple, Samsung, and Google actually provided "service" - it would be much less of an issue.) Are you listening, Apple/Samsung/Google? But the problem may be related to not having updated the phone OS for a long time (meaning never in three years). This is something where Samsung (and maybe Google) are to blame, due to a system which is rather obtuse. (I've only been using computers since about 1990, and have been online only since 1995.) But they helped me update the system. Whether I get the file transfer problem resolved or not, it seems worthwhile; and I definitely would recommend this shop (especially if they can keep their rates reasonable). Most people seemed to be coming in with damaged equipment (cracked screen, or liquids got into it, etc.)

My parents brought my phone there to fix a broken screen and there were no issues…read more Fast forward a few weeks later, and the screen has issues. Did not drop it. Did not get water on it. Did not sit on it (They told my parents that it was the result of impact, but I know for a fact it wasn't considering it was working in the morning one day and didn't an hour later for no reason). My parents asked about the warranty (listed as a 1 year warranty), and told them that it isn't covered and expected me to pay for a new screen when I did not a thing wrong. I never write reviews, but the fact that I did says all I needed to know. I would not recommend this place. Also, they don't EVER answer the phone. EVER.

I got all my photos back that I thought I lost, worth the $170 for the repair.
