Apple Store

Apple Store

This Apple store offers the worst customer service and retail experience I've ever had. I have…read morerepeatedly gone there because of issues I had with my MacBook Pro, iPads, and phones, and each encounter with an employee was extremely disappointing and quite frankly very rude. As much as I like Apple products, their horrendous customer service is the soul reason why I am purchasing a PC as my next computer. Good luck making an apple support claim here if your issue doesn't fall under their "tests" because they will refuse to even look into the problem.

I went in store for a promotion two weeks ago that was offering trade ins for iphone 11 for more…read morethan the usual amount (the deal was until June 3rd). When I came into the store on June 2nd, I told the gentleman who was helping me that I came for the promotion. As he was checking out my new phone, he asked if I already backed up my old phone, to which I said no. He replied "no problem" and said that they have a said I had 14 days to bring my old phone in for the refund of the promotional trade-in value. Fast forward 2 weeks, I came to Apple to trade in my old phone and the gentleman serving me (a different guy from 2 weeks ago) said that the trade in value was only $240, instead of the $290 I was expecting. I explained to him that I bought my new phone during the promotional term and was told I had 14 days to bring it back. He went to inquire with his manager and came back saying nothing could be done. I asked to speak with the manager myself. I don't know this manager's name because apparently Apple employees dont wear name tags and he didn't want to give me his name. But, this man was SO rude to me. He basically told me that I was lying and that the gentleman who sold me the phone did not say I would get the promotional trade-in price. He said that I would have had to have traded in the phone before June 3rd, which I was not told. He specifically told me I had 14 days to come back. The manager told me that it was impossible to refund me the money even though I was told I would be getting $50 more. I explained to the manager that I did not need a new phone, my old one was perfectly fine, I only came in because of this promotion. He said in a very snarky way "Well, you can return your new phone and we'll give you your old one back". He said this after they broke my old screen protector and after I had cleared everything off my phone. I told him this was unbelievable and asked to speak with someone higher and he said there is no one higher. This manager was so rude to me that I started to cry, he rolled his eyes and told the young gentleman who was helping us to deal with this and walked away. I could not believe it. As a customer who has bought 5 iphones, macbook, and headphones from this Apple store over the years, I am in complete shock over this treatment.

Me and my girlfriend and her sister went into this store about 7 months ago to buy brand new…read moresmart-phones. In total we spent over $2000 dollars in one visit. We were told in person that if we pay a 15/month warranty (each) that we have up to 5 FREE BRAND NEW phone replacements as well as ANY accessories that come with our purchases REPLACED ON-SITE . We were shown two to three documents stating the payment agreement for our phones and the continuation of our service provider plans. We were made to sign digitally, it looked like way to many signatures for just those three documents. 6 months later we had cracked phones ("accidental damage"), but we were happy because - Oh were covered! -. It was a scam. He took advantage of us because we are younger (around 20 y/o). He made us unknowingly sign the documents that we had not seen yet and then stapled a huge package together which he slipped into the bag after purchase. We returned to the mall to file a warranty claim today. Upon arrival we were told to phone Geeksquad as they handled all the warranty claims. Geek Squad said that the 5 free phone replacements and the free accessories are not and have never been included in the warranty. It would cost 100 dollars (mine was about 150) to fix a small crack on the back, and instead of getting my own FIXED phone back (OR A NEW ONE) we get a refurbished phone. We made a second trip to Best Buy Mobile (Burlington Mall). The manager that sold us the phones originally was working. He told us that never happened and said "Im not going to argue, were going to have to agree to disagree" and "I always tell my customers about the 100+ deductible included in the replacement" even though moments before he said "Yes your warranty covers free replacement phones upon accidental damage". He then followed up by saying "Then cancel your warranty". We did cancel our warranty and we will not be going back. -C Morris

Johnny at Direct Cell was amazing!!! I don't write reviews normally but he definitely deserves one…read more I dropped my iPhone XR in water the night before and my SIM card was not working. So the next day I rushed in 1 hr before he closed. He had 2 other phone to work on and we gave him my wife's old iPhone 6+ to replace the battery for $60. He told me my phone will be $25 for a cleaning and if that doesn't work $70 to replace the SIM card port. I foolishly told him I would bring it back in 2 days. We then went to wait in the mall while my wife's battery was being replace. I check a repair shop there and they carelessly ripped open my phone and told me $225 to fix my phone and then went to another stupid used iPhone sales and repair shop in the mall and they told me my phone was destroyed and it would cost $519 to replace it. Obviously I didn't choose any of those options. Johnny called us back 30 min later letting us know my wife's phone was finished. We went there and I told him I wanted him to fix my XR after all. He opened it up very very carefully and showed me exactly what the problems were. He showed me where the water inside can be seen. He stayed after store hours with me and fixed it in 15 minutes. He ended up charging me only $25 for the cleaning and my phone works as good as new. I offered a $5 tip but he refused and simply asked for a good review. I gladly agreed!! Johnny at Direct cell is kind, honest, knowledgeable, definitely in my opinion skilled and reliable. Don't hesitate to take you phone for repair here. Thanks again Johnny, you saved me $200-$400!!

I received a quote for a very reasonable $85.00 before 11 am and the phone was fixed and back in my hands by 138 pm. I can't thank the young man who helped me enough. I did agree to post a review.
