From our first warm and friendly phone call to the last curl she put in my hair on our wedding day, Lea's kindness, talent, and professionalism have blown me away. She did an amazing job on my hair trial and then somehow an even more beautiful job on our wedding day! Both hairstyles held up through lots of dancing, hugs, and warm weather. I never thought my hair could look so stunning. Lea is not only a great artist but a wonderful person. She is easy to talk to and so sweet. Lea brought exactly the vibes I wanted in our getting-ready suite AND kept us on schedule! That is no easy feat. I'm already looking forward to the next special occasion that I can get my hair done with Lea, and I also plan to check out her education offerings in the future, too!

Not only did she exceed my…read moreexpectations in the planning process with her amazing personality & excellent communication, but she executed flawlessly on the big day. The planning process from 2,000 miles away was definitely more than I originally anticipated when I decided to get married in Lake Tahoe. From the moment I first interacted with Lea she made it clear that I could have one less thing to worry about with regards to my hair & makeup. Not only did she listen intently, she gave me honest feedback and was able to reassure me in that planning process. Her personality is so bubbly and calming and you can tell that she is a genuinely happy person who loves making people feel beautiful. I ended up texting her ONE day before that my flower girls had changed their mind and now really wanted their hair done. No problem for Lea- not only did she accommodate this request last minute, but she handled their individual requests with such care that they and their mamma were all thrilled with the results. On my wedding day it rained off and on the ENTIRE day, and during the ceremony it literally started dumping and took me a couple minutes to secure an umbrella. Despite the weather, and my being outside for probably a total of 6 hours that day, my hair and makeup held flawlessly. I really don't remember giving her any directions for my make up other than "natural glam" and I have never ever in my entire life felt so beautiful. It was me- 100% - with an elegant touch. I can't really say enough. Weddings are emotional always, and my own personal journey was full of SO many feelings and Lea handled us all with such care and grace and really pulled it off. I have never felt so beautiful and am truly amazed that someone who was a "stranger" to me before hand was able to execute EXACTLY what was in my head. I really loved every moment!

I was looking for an asian make up artist who can do asian style make up as American make up artists really cake on your make up. I did not want that and was worried I would not find someone like that. My friend forwarded Angelina's yelp page to me and as I looked at the photos uploaded, I was pleasantly surprised. I quickly reached out to her and her response to me was within a reasonable time. Months prior to my wedding, whenever I had questions and asked her, she was able to answer me. Comes a day before the wedding and she gave me a quick reminder of my appointment. Very kind of her. Gave her the address to my hotel and my room number, and the next morning, she arrived on time. I was still getting ready with my mom and she was able to wait a bit for us to get settled in and set up her stuff. It was my first time seeing her and her first time working with my hair and face. Due to budget restrictions, I was not able to do a trial run with her. She asked me what make up and hair style I liked and she was able to execute what I wanted within 2 hrs of time. She also did my mom's make up and finished everything on time. She was super duper kind to both me and my mom. Made good conversation with us while doing our make up and my hair. When I was done, she showed me how I looked and I was so shocked to how beautiful I looked. My parents, brother, and guests all said I looked very natural and beautiful. My husband who saw me during the first look could not look away and also said I looked beautiful. He was so satisfied with it! Angelina is reasonably priced, quick, and does an amazing job.
