The mechanics seem to know what their doing. Been going there for years, but the lady at the front desk attitude is so rude, no customer skills ability. read more

I wouldn't even gave them a star but it wouldn't let me leave a comment read more

My wife's Corolla was making a squealing sound. The Toyota dealer said they'd have replace the power steering unit because the bearing was bad. Took it to Mac Auto Pros - they applied belt dressing and fixed the problem. No charge! read more

Have been a customer for nearly 20 years. Nice people, great service. There is a reason why I have been with them this long. They have always met my needs and stood behind their work 100% read more

My 21-year old car had been making a strange noise for several months. Having just moved here two years ago I had no idea where to find an honest mechanic. I took a chance and went to see if these guys could figure out the problem. They diagnosed it and fixed it as soon as they got the parts. They are definitely my go-to place for any car repairs I should need in the future. read more

Mac auto pros has been doing the oil changes and maintenance on all of our cars for the past several years. Anytime we are looking into buying a car we bring it to the pros to get it checked out. Melissa in the office is super friendly and knowledgeable. Mac auto pros is the only place we take our vehicles! read more

Confirmed by my new mechanic these guys didn't know how to work on my BMW, did so anyway and took my money. Beware these crooks!

Mac Auto pros has done a transmission flush for me in the past. Quality service, okay pricing, good communication! A friend of mine is using them to have their transmission replaced also. read more

We were "lucky enough" on our 4th of July roadtrip to break down in McMinnville. We took AAA's recommendation and had her towed to Mac Auto Pros. Our '93 Wrangler spent Independence Day in Mac's lot waiting for her knight in shining overalls. Alan went old-school since no parts were available while Melissa kept us well-informed. They had us back on the road that day. Plus, it was affordable - - I still have both arms 'n' legs! We made it to our destination, I'm writing this review from Granny's while stuffing my face. read more

Dropped off my '05 dying car because the breaks were shot and instead of taking the $600-800 paycheck they gave me an honest assessment of my car. So instead of wasting my money on something that will need way more than it's worth, I can use the money to go get something else. You have to appreciate the honesty and integrity. Great customer service. read more

My air conditioning wasn't working and with the summer heat that was a big problem. Mac Auto was able to work on my car the same day I called. They were very friendly and open about pricing and the time it would take. Will definitely be back! read more

My truck wouldn't start Sunday morning 11/20 at 0830 and it wasn't the battery. Monday I did what I could and decided it needed a repair shop. Tuesday 0915 11/22 I had the local AAA tow company take it to Mac Auto Pros. Melissa, who is a total JOY to be around, said she would let us know later in the day what they found. They called at 5PM and said they would look at the starter in the morning and go from there. At 0915 11/23 they called and said it was fixed and ready to be picked up. Mac Auto Pro had it for 24 hours and put it back on the road. They got the truck 11/22 and fixed it 11/23. Our local Nissan dealer wouldn't even see me until 12/07. Here's the cool part. Mac Auto Pros could have said anything and charged anything. (Relative to the problem) but what they found was a broken bracket and charged 45 dollars. I've never been there but I will definitely go back. And did I say Melissa is a total JOY ? read more

They went out of their way to help fix the breaks asap because we were going out of town. Great customer service.

I'd trust this team with any problem. They communicate, they are transparent about what the problem is and what it will take to fix it. And they've always been available when we needed. read more

They have helped keep my truck in good condition and are always available to help when I need them. They speak to me (tiny and female) like a competent adult. That hasn't always been my experience with car services, so I triple appreciate everyone here. Their pricing is within my budget and their work is top notch. I never have to come back to rework the same things. Love that! Thank you guys so much! read more

I have taken both my vehicles to these folks for several years. Even after moving out of Mac to Sherwood and then further north to King City, I have come back several times for major service or a second opinion! My wife and I have always felt they were most honest and forthcoming with whatever knowledge they had and shared it! It is so refreshing to find an honest mechanic shop, that for me I have no problem making a two hour round trip to save myself hundreds or even thousands in the end. Thank you so much folks! I hope that honesty being the best policy never changes for you! read more

Was told by my dealer that I needed the entire oil pump assembly replaced to a tune of $2000. Alan and his guys determined that only a few bolts needed torqued. Really appreciate Mac Auto Pros integrity, kindness and service. They have a customer for life! read more

They took a little longer with my car than I initially expected, however, it was worth the wait! They do quality work!

Being new to McMinnville, I wasn't familiar with the different businesses, but I knew that I wanted to go to a locally-owned shop. I didn't get the names, but everyone that worked there was so pleasant and attentive! The technician pointed out a gash on my tire that I didn't recognize and explained why it could be a problem and what I could do about it. Oil change, tire pressure, fuel topped off and rotating 2 tires led to about $70. Would definitely go again! read more

Mac Auto Pros changed me transmission fluid and oil once. They did a good job. A friend of mine recently had work done there as well and they fixed his issues for his car. read more

These folks are excellent. I can't say enough good things. Trustworthy, competitive pricing, and will go the extra mile for their customers.

I've had my cars repaired by this owner/tech for years and before his shop. I will echo the other comment on the honesty. He is a very honest and talented person. read more

I would not recommend this place. They are over-priced and not very competent. They told me I needed a new power steering pump and hoses and it was going to be almost $2k when, after I took it to the dealer for a second opinion, it turned out I only needed the hoses and a seal. read more

Melissa, Alan & Mike are amazing. They are honest as the day is long. I bring my car and wife's car here all the way from Tigard. It's out of the way but well worth it! If you are looking for fair prices and quality, honest work this is the only place to go! read more

We have used Mac Auto Pros twice now, and will only use them from now on. It is not easy to find a good and honest repair shop nowadays. Most places nickel and dime you and the job is still not done correctly. Took our vehicle in and found that a part we had installed someplace else (before we found Mac Auto Pros) installed the part incorrectly. They fixed the mistake and were honest about the part still being good and that it just needed to be re-installed properly. They only charged us for their labor, and the price was excellent. I should also note that we just walked in on a busy Friday, and they got us in right away. Highly recommend Mac Auto Pros. A++ read more

I went to these guys two years ago to have my car looked at. It was over heating and I had no idea what to do. They looked at it and told me what was wrong and offered a great price to fix it. Then I asked them to do a total tune up which they completed in less than a week! And they came in $200 under their original estimate! My car is 16 years old and it's only just now starting to have a secondary issue. I'll be returning to them this week. The only people I trust with my car. read more

Great shop to go to for maintenance and repairs. They're honest with no up-selling. They do quality work and their prices are reasonable. I really appreciate these guys! read more

A buyer took my truck here to be inspected before he bought it last May, 2014. I took a truck in today (that I was going to buy) and had it inspected. So I've been on both ends of the spectrum with this shop. Both times Ed inspected the trucks. Both times he was fantastic! He'll give you an honest, intelligent opinion. I never felt like he would try to sell me on having work done that didn't need to be done. Let me tell you he saved me a TON of money today by advising me not to buy the truck -- at least not for what I was going to pay for it. I am so thankful, and I will be taking my vehicles to him from now on because of his honesty and knowledge. Thank you, thank you!!! read more

Always great service. They are knowledgeable and have never done unnecessary work on my car. Have taken my car to them for years and am very happy with the level of service I have received. read more

We went to this shop and those supposedly fixed the problem, but two days later, our car broke down again, they did not take any responsibility for their error and told us, it's too bad.. we will NEVER use them again ....and don't recommend them at all. Their customer service was rude and defensive when we came back to question them. read more

We purchased a vehicle from a supposed mechanic at Mac Auto Pro's.. The vehicle was parked in front of Mac Auto Pro's, so we thought that a mechanic would have taken care of it. We were very unpleasantly surprised by all of the things done wrong on vehicle. Radiator hoses were hooked up backwards, wrong oil pump was installed causing leakage, clutch was shot, and wiring in dash was all messed up. I guess that buying from a repair shop is not a good idea. I have learned a $3000.00 lesson. I will never do business with Mac Auto Pro's and suggest nobody else does either. read more

Took my suv in to have an oil change and asked if they could id a minor leak. I was told my radiator had to be replaced because it was cracked. I was also told that my transmission fluid was dirty and needed to be replaced. I was also told that I needed a complete break job. I was charged a $40 inspection charge, plus the oil change. The estimated bill was over $1100. Since I recently had the trans flushed I be came suspicious. I took it to another repair place and mentioned the same leak. They found it to be a minor repair that had nothing to do with the radiator. The trans fluid was found to be clean and new. The front passenger side break had a worn caliper. I had them repair the minor leak and to replace the break shoes and the bad caliper. The cost was less then $500. I asked this company for my $40 inspection charge since except for maybe the breaks, their inspection was wrong. The ans was no. My suggestion is to get a second opinion before doing business with this company. read more
