We couldn't believe our eyes. After taking my mom to Dr Lu for multiple issues my turn came. My right hand was very sore and I was struggling typing and doing basic things. At the end of my session Dr Lu saw my pinky finger was stiff, I told him that finger had been like that for over 20 years and he took a needle and did his magic for a few seconds and now I can make a fits. OUTSTANDING first 2 sessions…read more Dr. Bermudez is deeply knowledgeable, beyond experienced (over 20 years), and genuinely cares about not only how you are while in his office, but how you are doing outside of treatment. Almost as impressive: his professional medical office. This is not some fly-by-night eastern medicine back room you find so many of (sublet from a chiropractor etc) - Dr. Bermudez has a gorgeous, state-of-the-art, professionally sterilized medical office that was such a welcome change of pace. As for the treatments, the first one took about 2 hours as he wanted to be sure to understand and address everything I've been working with, and the next session was an hour and fifteen (because he 'wanted to make sure I got the full benefit'). The pain was greatly reduced after the first session (a surprise, since most acupuncture tends to be more 'cumulative') and the second one while not as superficially helpful, clearly got some movement I did not have prior. All I can say is, Dr. Bermudez is a welcome change and not only brings results (apparently, immediately), but is well-priced and extraordinarily kind and generous. Highly recommended.
