The weather that weekend was terrible, so I stopped by Springygirl hoping to find a nice peacoat to complete my outfit and keep me warm. I explained to Spring (the shop owner) the occasion I was shopping for, and she immediately started pulling coats for me to try. I ended up finding two really lovely coats and couldn't pick between them, so I bought them both! I also found a pair of sparkly high heels and gorgeous blingy earrings. I couldn't believe my luck, it was literally a one-stop shop. Springygirl also has tons of adorable vintage styles, bags and accessories. I highly recommend that you check out this shop. I got two jackets, shoes, and earrings for what I would have paid for the coat alone at a department store. Thrift is the way to go. :)

We almost didn't go in, but I saw it from across the street and popped in to see what they have. Swag has a bunch of cool 70's eclectic things that I remember growing up (buttons, macrame, poster). If you are looking for that console stereo that your parents or grandparents may have had that can double as a table, they have some pretty cool ones here. They also have furniture and clothing (new/old) here as well. They also have albums, which my husband sorted through and purchased. I can tell if this is a decent store, just by small the album collection.

How the hell is this place still opened? Their "employees" are horrible. . I understand that stores…read moremay need to lock up certain items for security reasons, but if that is the policy, customers should be able to receive timely and respectful assistance when they need access to those products. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. I was met with dismissive and disrespectful attitudes from multiple employees who seemed unable or unwilling to help locate the key needed to unlock the item. Rather than providing basic customer service, the interaction felt unnecessarily difficult and simply RUDE. The employees I interacted with included a woman with long, curly black hair and several male employees who were unable to resolve the issue. A simple request for assistance turned into a very negative customer experience. I hope management addresses this because customers should not be made to feel like an inconvenience for needing help accessing items the store has chosen to keep locked. Zero stars
