The weather that weekend was terrible, so I stopped by Springygirl hoping to find a nice peacoat to complete my outfit and keep me warm. I explained to Spring (the shop owner) the occasion I was shopping for, and she immediately started pulling coats for me to try. I ended up finding two really lovely coats and couldn't pick between them, so I bought them both! I also found a pair of sparkly high heels and gorgeous blingy earrings. I couldn't believe my luck, it was literally a one-stop shop. Springygirl also has tons of adorable vintage styles, bags and accessories. I highly recommend that you check out this shop. I got two jackets, shoes, and earrings for what I would have paid for the coat alone at a department store. Thrift is the way to go. :)

I've dropped off donations at this location countless times over the years, and this was the first time I had someone walk up to my car and offer to help me unload my donations and kindly point me to the correct bins for where to place things (electronics, household goods, clothes, bags, shoes, etc). He also asked if I wanted my bags back and if I needed a donation receipt. The last time I donated items here, there was a guy working who practically screamed at me "No hangers!" to which I responded, "Sorry, I didn't know." - I put the bag of hangers back in my car but he definitely didn't need to yell angrily. So this visit was 100 times better, thanks to Deshawn. Goodwill, I hope you acknowledge the great and kind employee he is! Friendly tip: I had fragile wine glasses, pint glasses, and ceramic mugs to donate and I wrapped each item in packaging paper and bubble wrap and placed them in an open box. I was told this was a great way to donate fragile items so they don't break. The back parking lot where the donation drop off is located can get tricky to drive in/out of if there are more than few cars back there. It's basically a small loop with about 6 spots in the center. And when people are walking back and forth from their cars and the donation bins and cars are trying to exit or pull in, it can get dicey so a little patience will help!

Marina at Le Caprice is a lifesaver!…read more I ordered a Vivienne Westwood gown from a very popular bridal shop. When I tried it on during pickup, I knew something was off. It took 3 stylists just to hook the dress together before it could be zipped up. I had not gained any weight since ordering, and the dress felt like it had been ordered a size too small. The stylist who was helping me put on the dress kept reassuring me that the gown had a hard corset, and because it was strapless, it was meant to fit that tightly. Well before my actual wedding, I had my courthouse ceremony... I needed a lot of help to get the dress hooked on, and when it came time to drive to the courthouse, I couldn't even sit up. I had to lean the car seat all the way back in order to make it to the courthouse. The entire afternoon I was so uncomfortable that I didn't even want to drink water. After that experience, I brought my dress to Marina at Le Caprice. She took one look at my back and didn't even bother zipping me up. She assured me that my dress was too small, that it was not just in my head, and offered to remove the zipper and replace it with a corset back! I was nervous because I really loved the top part of my dress and how snatched it made my waist look, but when I received my dress it still looked just as perfect! Not only that, but I was completely comfortable in it when I was sitting and eating at my reception (: Marina was able to complete the alterations super fast at a fair price and I think the corset was elegantly executed. I highly recommend coming to Le Caprice!

After a mistake was made with my 10% senior discount (most seniors come to the store on Tuesday for the same reason), Brisa explicitly agreed to rescan my items. I spent time unwrapping everything to make it easier for her, only for her to return with a hostile attitude and refuse to honor the discount because I 'didn't tell her beforehand.' When I held her to her word, she became incredibly rude and even threatened to refuse me service. Ironically, Brisa mentioned she is currently studying Forensics. You would think someone in that field would value facts and integrity, but she completely went back on her word. She certainly has the 'bad cop' interrogation style down - she failed the basic test of honesty, integrity and professional conduct. Truly 'Bad Will' at this store today - 3/10/2026.

I can actually come here and find these items. One thing that bothers me though. They have a knob goblin. What is a knob goblin? Glad you asked. A knob goblin is someone that goes to thrift stores to steal knobs off stereo equipment. Every single amp, every single receiver of any sort of value is missing its knobs. You can find them up on eBay, sometimes for $100's of dollars. We've had one in Almaden hitting up stores for months, Goodwills competitor down the street seems to be doing nothing about it, nor is this Goodwill. To fully stop a knob goblin, you have to catch them in the act on camera. Then show them the video. This is a powerful spell that in actuality will chain their soul to the AV receivers in the store, so the act of stealing and reselling knobs becomes stealing and selling pieces of their own soul. The knob goblin values their soul enough where they will just stop knob goblining, leaving the amps and receivers in tact. Instead they will become good goblins. Goodwill, chain the Knob Goblins soul, and I will reward you with an additional star.

It's frustrating to see an item already priced and then have the price changed simply because someone realizes it might be worth more. One of the reasons people shop at Goodwill is to find affordable secondhand items. When prices are changed at the manager's discretion, it makes customers feel like they're being taken advantage of rather than getting a fair deal. I've noticed a pattern of high prices at this store, and this experience made it even more frustrating. Goodwill is supposed to offer affordable options, not make customers feel like the price depends on whether management recognizes a brand. Unfortunately, this experience has left a bad impression on me. Management should focus on consistent, transparent pricing and treating customers fairly.
