I love spicy food... and for those of you in the know, that's exactly what you get when you order Sichuan.
We initially popped in because for a late lunch after seeing the hot pots and deciding we needed a try, however at £18 for all you can eat hot pot and no other smaller option, we reverted to the main menu and the hot pot was put on the back boiler for another occasion.
My favourite dishes have to be the cucumber with garlic and spicy sauce, the broccoli with minced pork, dry beef with chilies! They definitely leave a bit of a sting, so you'll need some rice!
If you're after something less spicy I'd suggest you ask. I tried the won-ton soup with noodles that was ordered for someone who doesn't like any spice, and I found this very bland however.
The place isn't that homely, more functional, however it's always full of Chinese people and is run by Chinese people, which is a good sign for a Chinese restaurant!
