I ordered beer along with an onion soup. It tasted great, comforting and pairing very well with the beer. My friend ordered an stout beer with ham poutine. The portions are very large and you'll be completely stuffed after eating there. The waitress came often to check on us and had very good recommendations for drinks. I would highly recommend for a relaxing night at the bar or dinner with friends. No fuss just good drinks and food.

I looked at the menu to try and see if that was something we needed to order as an app. I did not see it on the menu so I assume it's just given as your app while you wait for your dinner. I got the beef tartar as my main dish. You have the option of picking between a garden salad or fries to go with it. I went with the fries. They are served with some mayo, just like I like it. The beef chart was delicious. Portion are good. This might also be an option if you want to share an app. It comes in two sizes, I got the bigger one. For dessert, I picked a crème brûlée with a cheese platter . Crème brûlée comes with a lovely crust , which I honestly enjoyed quite a lot. It is a very thin layer of crème brûlée with a thicker than usual sugar crust. The cheese platter came with three very small piece some bread and a jam. I would believe to be blueberries. I was disappointed by the cheese platter not because the cheese were bad ones but just because it was a three bite done deal. I would've liked a bigger portion to share. There is parking behind the restaurant and on the street in front of it, very easily accessible. We had a reservation for 7:30 and were seated around 7:40 (the place was packed and COVID measures were taken to ensure that everyone was safe). The service was impeccable. The waitress brought us the mussels menu, which is around 10 different flavours you can choose from unlimitedly for 25$. In addition to the mussel casserole, you get a plate of fries or salad, or a half and half of both. The fries and salad are also part of the all you can eat menu, you can order as many as you want. The mussels arrived hot, the different flavours were all really good (my personal favourites were Roquefort, 2B, Cowboy and Chorizo). As a fan of seafood, I was a little skeptical with the "all you can eat" formula, thinking the food might be less fresh or of lesser quality. However, I was pleased with the food and the quality of it, and how generous the portions were. The drink menu is very diversified as well, I had a delicious glass of Portuguese white wine for 7$. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for the food, the efficiency of service and the quality for the price.

They open the second floor at 8pm and the guy comes in at 8:30pm to start playing songs. Once more people show up, it does drag on a bit because there are more songs to go through before it's your turn. Also, if you're shy there's a bigger audience. Loved my time here so much! Oddly enough the $5 special was the strongest drink of the bunch. Food was standard bar fare (nachos, pogos, chicken bites, poutine) but at $5 bucks it was well worth it. Superb service as well. On the menu, there was a 1/4 chicken special advertised in two places. One was a breast and leg for a price, and the other was chef's choice (alternating breast and leg) for a lower price. Since I wanted two dinners, I asked the waitress what the difference was in the two specials. She had to get someone else to come and explain it: With the chef's choice, it wasn't guaranteed you would get one breast and one leg. You could get two legs, or two breasts. With the other special, it was for sure there would be one breast and one leg. Feeling frugal, I went with the chef's choice. I only had to wait about 5 minutes for the food. During this time, I was entertained by a television overhead, and I had a glass of water. Bags are not provided with the takeout boxes. And as expected, I did get one breast and one leg. It's definitely enough for two. I think the strawberry rhubarb pie was sent raw? Or maybe just not cooked correctly? I popped it in the oven and it cooked on top but still evidently raw on bottom.
