On that Tuesday she sends a text message saying that the crew would be there 9-10 but they showed after 11 unapologetically. After the job was done the wife sends me a nasty text stating that I needed to pay the remainder that day and that her son would be over my house at 7am the next day and I needed to have a check ready. From that point on, the wife became aggressive, rude and a bully informing what I better do. What professional talks to their customers that way? After discovering my phone and fax machine weren't properly installed back, the wife sent her son over to correct the problem and touch up several paint issues. The son did just that but discovered he couldn't fix the phone or fax issue. On the 3rd time coming over the son insisted on fixing it and was able to get the phone fixed with the help of Vonage. When the son called to tell his dad and mom that the fax machine still wasn't working, the mother made several rude comments stating: Dosent she know how to use her fax machine? Then another comment stating: Okay, daddy and I are on our way because this is getting retarded! After that I was speechless at how unprofessional this lady carries on with her customers. I promptly told them not to come and that I would have someone fix the issue. PLEASE DONT USE THEM! They are terrible and the work is messy and the owners never came to do a final walk through. I will make sure no one I know uses them ever! Whoever claims they are professional and their work was great is either lying or a friend of theirs who doesn't want to be truthful.

The…read moreHome Depot plumbing contractor suggested I may also have a slab leak based on information I gave him and they do not repair slab leaks. I called Icon plumbing. Travis confirmed that I had a slab leak on the hot water side. He also said that they do not usually have to jackhammer the floors, saving my beautiful wood floors. They repair the leak and run a new line through the attic. They repaired the leak located behind the wall of my washing machine and ran a new line, through the attic, from the leak to my water heater. The bottom line was my floors were not jack hammered and after leak was repaired, my water heater did not have to be replaced (saving money). The only repair I had was 4 sheetrock hole repairs which is much cheaper than repairing floors. Icon plumbers Travis and Joe are great guys. They were respectful of my home and left the work spaces very clean. Addendum-I was quoted over $4000.00 including water heater replacement from another company. Icon plumbing made repairs for less than $3000.00 without water heater replace or wood floor repair. My last slab leak was in my master bath. The home warranty plumber jackhammered the floors and charged $3800.00. Plus I had to repair my bath floors. The home warranty company would NOT cover costs and I immediately dropped them.

I'd even forgotten that pre-vacuuming used to be a standard for the industry but the services I had used the last couple of years didn't vacuum before "cleaning" my light-colored carpet. I had vacuumed myself, but was astounded at the amount of dust, lint and dirt that Roger got out with his professional unit before he even started the cleaning process. No odor. Quick drying.
