Let me start off by saying Mai is amazing no complaints whatsoever with her and my lashes. I've been going here since I relocated back to Washington and my first appointment with her was in March. My complaint is with Bryan who handles confirmation of appointments. Today was a great example of how unprofessional he was. My appointment is scheduled for 11:15 and I get a text from him asking if I would be able to make it. I respond yes. He then in turn changes my appointment to 11 without my permission or verifying if I can come early. I send a text because mistakes happen. My reads I didn't change my appointment, it's for 11:15, and I didn't agree to 11. I get another text stating once again my appointment is at 11. I call and I ask are you the one texting me and changed my appointment. He stated yes because she has an appointment at 12:15 and he didn't want me to lose any of my time. For starters I was never asked if I could come in earlier and also how dare you say I'm going to lose some of my time because of the way it was booked. Extremely unprofessional. This isn't the first incident with Bryan and I will bring this up in my appointment. read more

I would give this place a 3 1/2 Stars to 4 Stars. Reason I say this is because I've been doing my lashes for some time now, been to many different lash ladies around the Seattle area. I've very picky with how I like my lashes done. From the quality of the lashes they're made to what kind of glue they use, the curl, style, cleanliness and also the skills of the lash person. I was surprised with how cheap this place was. My lash lady was out of town and I really needed a new fill so I decided to try this place out. I'm not sure about most people, but what I find is that usually the pricier the sets or fills are, the better quality they tend to be. I'm used to about 70-80 dollar fills for 2-3 weeks. I came here assuming they would tell me I would need a new set but surprisingly they said they could do just a fill. This is inside a huge office building. A little bit confusing with where it's located. They use a shared space. First thing I noticed was just that the room was extremely small, things looked slightly scattered. When I explained my lashes and what I wanted, my lash girl seemed slightly confused with what kind of lashes my usual lash girl used. I asked for doll eye style. The fill took a little over an hour which I'm not used to, she did shampoo my lashes but did end up pouring a little too much solution into my eye. So I had asked for doll eye but she did open eye style. That didn't bother me too much, but the quality of the lashes did. The lashes looked very shiny and plasticky which I didn't like. It did appear to look darker but it just didn't look so elegant and fluffy as how I used to have it. The lashes don't have a very soft feathery tip towards to end, just seems to kind of cut off as if someone snipped the tip a little. So, I am giving this a pretty decent rating is because the price was very cheap, and they gave me a little new client discount. Service was friendly and the lashes barely fell out and really stayed on for over 2-3 weeks. I just don't think I would come back because the quality was not on par with what I'm used to. However, for people who are on a budget but still want to maintain a easy maintenance look, I would suggest this place. read more

Where do I start? These people here are the worst human beings I've ever encountered. They tell you one price, then charge you another. They also took it upon themselves to GIVE THEMSELVES a hefty tip. Hannah did a great job on my lashes the first time. They were very full and rarely had fall out the first 2 and a half weeks. My first experience was great because it was silent, relaxing, music playing, etc. When I got my fill done, she was on the phone the whole time. It was distracting and I could hear her Bluetooth since it was so close to my face. It was really hard to relax when someone is having an on and off conversation in your face. Then I got home and noticed one eye was more full than the other. That really bothered me but no one else noticed. Then the lashes were falling out more rapidly than before and I wasn't doing anything differently than my first session. They were literally falling out in clumps. I can see where some lashes have broken. Now I have one eye with semi full lashes and one eye with sections missing and it just looks awful... I want to just remove them myself and wait till my natural lashes grow back and then I'll be going to someone else. So sad about my lashes! read more

I feel the need to share my story. I had an appointment with Hannah for lash extensions. She had to take off my remaining lashes which is a service that is normally included when I see a lash artist when paying for new full set. It hurt SO bad. It irritated my eyes to the point where I'm unsure if I can endure the application of a new set. This has never happened before with any other lash artist I've worked with and I've been getting lashes done for years. Her coworker keeps saying it will be fine and that Hannah is very skilled so I should keep going. I was convinced into continuing with the lash extensions. But Hannah was placing an unbearable amount of pressure on my forehead while she attached the lashes. I would tell her please stop doing that because she was hurting me. And she just responded with she doesn't speak English. I would tell her again and hope that her coworker might translate for her. After awhile it was just enough and I was getting this terrible cramp in my neck. I said please stop and take off the remaining lashes that were placed on me. She said it would cost me, and I said fine. Bryan has told me it was $10, but she charged me $15. When she took them off, it was once again SO PAINFUL. I think my actual eyes were damaged because they were all red and irritated afterwards. To this day I still can't go to another lash appointment because of what a terrible experience I had. I wish I would've read a review like this before going so I wouldn't have wasted my time and $. I'm truly trying to find a good lash artist and that is why I tried this place. This person was late to the appointment, eating, talking really loudly to her coworkers while working closely on my face. Lash appointments should be a relaxing experience, to the point where I normally fall asleep. I walked away with unnecessary stress, neck cramp, and eye pain. For my first appointment, they had given me the wrong address and left me ruining in circles for an hour and then when I finally found them they told me they had no time for me that day even though I had an appointment and they had the wrong address for their business. For my second appointment, a fill, I booked with Brian and he never put it I. The books so tome comes my appointment I drive all the way there and turns out he never put it in the books. Now today, I try to reschedule and they tell me I'm one week over for a fill and now I have to get a full set. Even though I made my refill appointment within those 5 weeks of getting my first set and I only missed it because they never put it in their books. Signed up for a groupon based upon pictures of past work and high reviews. Scheduling was very responsive and Mai was friendly. M lashes stays booked way in advance so definitely need an appointment. The lashes I received were just ok, on the thin side. I've gotten lashes several times over the past 6 years and my expectations were that the result would be similar to pictures of previous clients on this site and in the lash studio. When I asked if they could be a bit fuller, Mai just told me I have to pay more next time. I think she was tired ( I was the last client) and ready to leave. This was my first time getting eyelash extensions and I got the new technician deal so I feel like I can't complain much but two major things that did bother me. The technician started with my left side and you can definitely tell the difference in detail. It has been a little over a week and my left side is still intact and looks pretty good. The right side has been falling out since day one and poor upkeep can't be an excuse because both my eyes would be affected since I wash them the same way. The left side has double the lashes than my right side which makes my eyes look super awkward and as soon as I return from my trip, I'll be getting the whole thing removed. Also, during the 1.5 hour of my lash extensions, she spoke in her native tongue to the other technician almost the whole time. I understand many Asian facilities do this and being Asian myself, I try not to mind it but the distance between her face and my face is so close and the volume was pretty loud so I was pretty tense for the duration. This part is not really her fault but there was another client in the room who had her kids run around. The kids actually bumped me on couple occasions which seem extremely neglectful and dangerous when the application is going straight to my eyes with sharp tools. Will not be returning. read more
