****WARNING!!!!**** If you are thinking about going to see Walayat, PLEASE read this before you…read moremake your decision! Worst "doctor" I have ever been to!!!! If I could rate negative stars, I absolutely would. I don't complain about doctors because I know how much work they do, but Walayat messed around with all of my psych prescriptions, and in so doing, is putting my life in danger. The Apple Valley office never faxed very important paperwork to my primary care doctor. I psychically went to the office three times, and the people I talked to were RUDE, wouldn't tell me ANYTHING about what I'm supposed to do when I'm about to run out of my psych prescriptions, because they "couldn't get a hold of him.". Walayat laughed at my statement that my Family is my everything, and proceeded to say "They're your everything, and they're not here anymore". During the psych session, the receptionist walked in, and had a conversation with Walayat about an appointment she fit into his day before he went to lunch. A female, Gena Black, told me that since I was about to run out of my Prozac, and they couldn't get a hold of Walayat, to simply stop taking my pills, that I will not have any withdrawals. According to the Prozac website, and I quote: " Stopping Prozac too quickly may cause serious symptoms including: anxiety, irritability, high and low mood, feeling restless, or changes in sleep habits. Headache, sweating, nausea, dizziness. Electric shock-like sensations, shaking, confusion. " And more symptoms of withdrawals from Prozac, and I quote: "Agitation, anger, anxiety blurred vision, confusion, crying spells, depersonalization, depression, dizziness, emotional numbing, fatigue, headaches, inability to concentrate, insomnia, lightheadedness, memory problems, mood swings, muscle pain, nausea, night sweats, panic attacks, stomach pain, SUICIDE THOUGHTS, tiredness." After my first and only appointment with Walayat, we walked out of the room together, he leaned in close to my ear, and said, and I quote "With these prescriptions, you can't get pregnant.". To which I replied "I'm sorry....? I CAN?". He responded " No. You CAN'T.". And then walked away. Here are the exact words on the leaflet from one of the prescriptions: "Birth control pills and other hormone-based birth control may not work as well to prevent pregnancy. Use some other kind of birth control also like a condom when taking this drug. This drug may cause harm to the unborn baby if you take it while you are pregnant." Not only has Walayat given me wrong information on TWO of the three prescription pills that he prescribed me, he is also putting my life in danger. After three weeks of waiting for approval for one of the prescriptions, I still have yet to hear anything from Walayat or his office. With all of these issues, I have been getting their names.... Or trying to. A female (older) named Janet REFUSED to give me her last name. She said she is the only Janet there. Needless to say, I will be going to an actual psychiatrist next time! I am disgusted and sickened that these people have their own business. They deserve to be in prison! p.s. Anxiety attack as I write this!
