Our building has been doing business with them for at least 5 years and during the past 6 months and possibly longer, no techs have shown up to perform regularly scheduled maintenance for which we are paying them in timely manner for. Then during the inspection they claim that our elevator brake tags were not updated (which is their responsibility), log a violation and demand that we pay them additional $500 to refile to clear violation when filing fee is around $30-40. When we asked them several times to provide details about maintenance that was done, we never received a response, yet we keep receiving threats to sign a proposal or incur additional fines. They clearly do not realize that they are just an elevator company and not City Hall or utility company and that they have competition.
