Cold and snowy day... January 22, 2025…read more.. Southbound on the 91outside of White River Junction, VT... sensed a strong odor of antifreeze... pulled into a gas station... Yep... broken water pump and overheating... Mind you, this GMC 2018 Sierra (fully paid off)... has gotten me completely cross country back in October, 2024... with no issues, not even a scratch... Vehicle is towed to Bob's Service Center at 10 am that day... Not Bob, but Josh... "Let's see, water pump, coolant and belt tensioner assembly need replacing... it'll be ready by two..." Josh was right on schedule... Professional, thorough, and kind... Picked up the vehicle... warranted work for 2 years/24,000 miles... back on the freeway I went... only a few hours delay... but no matter... the vehicle must be reliable... It was... Coldest day in White River Junction... This driver and owner will seek these gentlemen out for future auto repairs... they are simply the best... And kind... They explained everything... I do appreciate the thoughtful and thorough approach... A cold day driving with a vehicle failure... could have been made much more difficult... but it was not... it was a beautiful day... Bob's Service Center in White River Junction, VT... seek them out... Be prepared to be satisfied... and at a fair price... Thank you again...

Don't go anywhere else! After 5yrs of searching I found my shop. The team treats my ratty old Ford…read morediesel like it's a historic gem. Even taught me a few tips no one else knows. This team keeps both my 1990 Fussy ole Ford and my Subaru in the finest of mechanical condition for a price that is affordable. I even put them out on my Senior camping group so if a repair is needed in NH or VT they know to limp it in, drag it in, tow it in; but make sure you get it to Bobs!

I am very, very appreciative of Auto Advisors! Yesterday, I started to drive to work, and my car…read morebegan to shimmy and make loud knocking sounds. I quickly returned home and called the dealership where I had purchased the car 8 days earlier. I explained that I didn't think it was safe to drive, but was told it couldn't be seen until the end of the week because the appointment book was full. Auto Advisors came highly recommended by a neighbor, so we called them. Not only did Brian take the car in immediately, he figured out that the lug nuts, which had only been hand-tightened, had become loose and damaged the rim. He called the dealership to, basically, inform them of their error. After tightening the lugs nuts to make it safe to drive the distance, Brian arranged for me to be a priority at the dealership and to be seen by the Service Manager there. I drove up, was seen right away, and all parts and services to fix the problem were provided free of charge. I also got multiple apologies from the dealership. After all of this, Brian did not charge me for any of what he did for me. My husband and I are now big fans and new customers going forward!

I brought my car in this past March to have the oil changed. When I returned to pick it up, I was…read moretold I needed some extensive work. The message was pay us now, $1,200 or, if I wait, the price of fixing the car at a later date would be $2,800. I was leaving on a 12 day trip in a couple of weeks so we left the car to have the work done while we were gone. When we returned home, we went down to pick it up and it was not ready "we need to test drive it one more time" We returned the next day, the car was ready and I was handed a bill of $2,800. That is not the work I asked for, that was the cost if I let the problem get worse. I was fuming inside but paid the bill and left. When I returned home, I found two Wyndham Hotel keys in my center console which I cleaned out before I dropped the car off. There was significant mileage on my car. I called and spoke with Eric. He claimed the hotel keys were probably found on the floor of the garage and someone put them in my car ( huh?). He also denied someone drove my car - well, I sure didn't and I knew what the milage was because they had just changed my oil and I was able to calculate the difference. Overall, very disappointing as it is so difficult to find honest mechanics. The people who referred us to Auto Advisors are no longer customers there either.
