I was having my fireplace renewed and the chimney guys recommended him. So Mike came out to detach my TV then left the TV attached to my sound bar faced down on my bed. Then the TV fell off the bed because of the weight of the sound bar. As you can see the bottom of the tv broke and was not usable. Initially he said he'll work with us. We made a deal for him to get a new TV and I'll pay the difference between the cost of the new tv and my old tv. He failed to show up on a promised date and started to avoid my texts and calls. Sometime we don't give people their flowers and recognition so today I want to ensure I do. I have been following M&M Audio Video's work on Facebook since 2019. The quality of work and customer reviews have always been positve and exceptional. I insisted Hubby call M&M Audio Video to ensure we received the best quality. My Hubby reached out to Mike @ M&M Audio Video a few weeks ago regarding several television installations with no wires showing, including one to be hung with a swivel bracket in the brick on the patio, in the game room, and a media room installation, including speakers, projector and a big screen. After our first conversation with Mike we knew he was the right man for the job; if you have ever heard the phrase "Look No Further", we knew there was no need to after speaking with Mike. Mike provided us with numerous options, explained what would be done, how it would be done and suggested ideas that we did not think about or consider. We had a total of six tvs hung and our media room completed with state of the art projector and screen. Our Son plays video games and opted to have a a swivel bracket added along with LED lights that change color behind the tv. Mike even had options to hang his PS5 and controllers. We also adds a sound bar in our bedroom and Mike was kind enough to connect it and hang it as well. Mike and his Nephew are good people, too notch professionals, very knowledgeable and take pride in their work. They arrived promptly and began working, they were very respectful of our home and took their shoes off at the door. We could tell from the start they were very knowledgeable and knew what they were doing, trust and believe it showed. We asked questions and they had the answers. They explained everything to us in addition to ensuring the televisions were placed exactly where we wanted them. AND most importantly there are No cords showing and no unnecessary holes or repairs needed!! Mike told my Hubby he was going to move a plug my Hubby said okay I will have a Sheetrock/texture guy come out. Mike asked for what? Hubby said to repair the plugs. Mike kindly replied there's no need for repairs we have it Unc. At that point my Hubby like I knew M&MAudio Video was the real deal. They are not a one shop type of business they can handle All Video & Audio needs including but not limited to lighting, security cameras, speaker,. pre-wiring etc. They vacuumed and cleaned each area after they finished the installs. They even fixed and corrected things the previous pre-wiring company did not do. They also went above and beyond to ensure the final masterpiece "Media Room" was what the Hubby wanted. My Hubby is not easily Wowed and he loves going to the movies. The way his eyes and face lit up seeing the 135 inch screen come on and play the trailer for Top Gun, one of his favorite movies, was something to watch. And now we are able to go to the movies in the comfort of our own home, receive the DOLBY movie cinema experience and enjoy with our families and friends. We are beyond thankful and grateful for the exceptional service and the life long friendship created. M&M Audio Video exceeded our expectations. Much like the other dissatisfied customers reported. Mike McCoy takes your money, makes promises and then disappears. He quoted a job for me in Feb. and I paid him 75% in advance to secure equipment. He came by once in April and hung 2 TVs but did not install the speakers or any components. The only communication I have received besides silence is excuses and false promises. ****************** Buyers Beware ********* I am Rachele, I am a single Black Female, a Senior Citizen, and I live on a Fixed Income. I hired Mike McCoy of M&M Audio Video to install a security system at my home for a total cost of $4543.00. The project consisted of an indoor installation for monitoring, and an outdoor installation to include wired cameras. I was unhappy with the indoor installation and opted to cancel the remaining project. Keep in mind, Mike never installed outdoor cameras or wiring at my house. I have written evidence via text messages from Mike saying he would cancel outstanding orders (outdoor cameras and wiring), retrieve the indoor system from my home, and process a refund to me. I contacted Mike more than once. He kept promising, but he never did either. ********* Jekyll and Hyde ********* I contacted VISA. Mike provided VISA with a documented response via SQUARE that stated, "once products are installed there are no refunds or exchanges". I sent VISA a copy of the Proposal I signed; no such clause was included. I also provided VISA with copies of text messages from Mike stating he would process the refund. VISA approached Mike again. On the final approach, VISA said the merchant, "SQUARE", refused to refund the money. Mike says SQUARE took the money from his account and that I had been paid. Mike texted me a screen shot that showed SQUARE had received the dispute and the details of the money involved. He also sent me another screen shot showing his SQUARE account being over -7000+ in the negative. He said that's proof that he paid me. I cannot get solid evidence from Mike proving that the money was refunded, but I do have solid evidence from VISA saying it wasn't. Conclusion...Mike told me he would process the refund; he told VISA he would not. ********* Mike is Good at this game ********* I can tell this is not his first rodeo. Mike created a bogus contract document and sent it to SQUARE; Not a copy of the document I signed. He presented it as though he had completed the full job. His merchant (SQUARE) supported him 100% all based on lies. VISA said they could not force the merchant to issue a credit. ********* Merry Christmas ********* Mike has threatened to sue me if I continue to post on his page. I do so because I don't want this to happen to anyone else, especially a Senior Citizen. I believe Mike and his family will have a Very Merry Christmas. Hi Mike, writing you since we have some outstanding issues and funds that need to be returned to me. You haven't returned my calls lately and you said you processed the return of my funds 10 days ago and then again 7 days ago. Can you please make it happen today? I asked for the office number or you said your wife does the books but have not received. I'm very concerned and would appreciate resolving the outstanding money to be returned to me today. I have pretty much given up on fixing the not centered TV and the cord laying on the ground and a couple other fixes you disagree with, but the two large amounts of money are needed by me today. Very concerned. I am sad now I saw another senior citizen had the same problem. It's my bad that I did not check you out before. My problem is, though, before work or any purchasing occurred, I said I was having buyer's remorse and felt I shouldn't spend the money and resolve the first issues before spending more money. You said great. But then there were two no-show appointments. So, you either need to do the work (like I just texted you minus the $2k projector) or refund the money. So, now I'm saying okay, you won't return the money, then come do the work minus the additional funds for an older model projector that I spoke with you about now having any recent (in the last few years), reviews and my projector screen is old and was free so probs not going to do a new projector justice.
