We were finally able to get a donut spare on, but after spending more than 24 hours trying unsuccessfully to get a replacement rental car, we were exhausted, stressed, and stranded far from home. We were traveling from Massachusetts to North Carolina with my young daughter and our dog. Our rental car company recommended Mavis, but after waiting there for quite a while, they told us they couldn't repair the tire because of its location and sent us elsewhere. That's when we found FBN Auto Sales & Services, and everything changed. From the moment we arrived, Steve treated us with genuine kindness and compassion. He immediately reassured us that everything was going to be okay and understood how overwhelming the situation had been. While we waited, he even helped entertain my daughter and made sure our dog had water and was comfortable. Those small acts of kindness meant more than he probably realizes. The tire was repaired quickly, and when it was time to leave, Steve noticed how much luggage we had crammed into the rental car. Without hesitation, he jumped in to help unload everything, transfer it to our vehicle, and carefully pack it all back in. He absolutely didn't have to do that, but he did anyway. What could have been one of the worst experiences of our trip turned into one we'll always remember because of Steve's kindness and willingness to go above and beyond. Upon entering the shop I noticed that a customer who was already inside was being told that they don't have the specific tire that she needs. I was also given the same bad news. I find it crazy that A TIRE STORE doesn't have tires for multiple different models at the same time. Luckily I was able to make it to A&J Tires up the street which helped me out. Goodyear also doesn't offer used tires forcing you to pay a premium price even in an emergency situation.

I don't drive a foreign car so the fact that I had to pay for some special type of oil I didn't want and wasn't aware was highly unusual to me. There wasn't anyone else there and maybe their prices are keeping business away. They advertise auto & truck sales so maybe that's where the pricing comes in? I mentioned my hearing impairment and they seemed very courteous on how they spoke to me, which I definitely appreciated.
