This is easily the best cleaning service we have used and the only one we swear by ever since using their services. They are fast to respond, easy and flexible to schedule with, and do great work. Never have we felt unsatisfied with the work, and never have we had an issue with them forgetting to clean something or not following instructions about cleaning certain areas or appliances. Often times I have said to myself "oh I forgot to ask you can you clean _____" and ill walk to that room to tell them and they reply "oh we already cleaned it" without me asking. They also remember personal details so as a repeat customer you don't have re-explain the way you prefer something done. Lastly their prices are phenomenal and fair. They aren't the kind of cleaners who will charge by the hour and clean slow to try to milk more money. Love them!!!! read more

I am writing this review after only one cleaning. I will give the benefit that maybe the person sent out was having a bad day but it was bad enough I will not use this company again. She missed obvious stuff like cleaning my children's bathroom and the outside of my tub. I wasn't in my home while she cleaned so I can't confirm what she did but, she didn't mop the kitchen. It was like she just dusted and left. Update- I am attaching the text message correspondence between me and someone at the number the owner just mentioned. M&I MAIDS - Home Cleaning Near Me - Stanton, California

I really wanted this to work out after all the great reviews I've read, but this was not a good experience with Nadia. My guest house is very small, and there is not very much there or things that can get in the way of cleaning. I'm certainly not all that picky either. After she left the second time I did a thorough walk through and saw soooo many things that were not clean. I'm not sure what they did for 2 hours, but I wasn't there to monitor... maybe that's where I went wrong. My sister and I can clean better than this, we pretty much paid them to make it worse. It did not look like they vacuumed at all the first time. You clearly see crumbs on the tile floor and all over the rugs and the corners where they were too lazy to move to clean. When I texted her she offered to come back to revacuum. But even after the kitchen mat was filled with crumbs and I still saw stains on the floors that wasn't touched. The floors were clearly not mopped. Typically you would be able to smell the cleanliness and the basic stains removed. The TV had leftover residue of dirty water, cleaning with a windex or some sort does not leave streaks like that. The kitchen counter when ran through with my finger had dust and dirt and the side of the counter still had stains. The stovetop has streaks and stains that can be cleaned but was left. The sinks and faucets were still dirty. The small glass side table wasn't even touched, all the water marks from the cups were still there. I can keep adding to the list....I've only attached some photos. Oh and they did not clean inside the fridge like they said they would. I think they just got lazy. *Response to the reply* Nadia, it's insulting that the reason for the poor quality of work was that I asked for a quick wipe down. That was meant for in the fridge and you didn't even touch that, I can send you photos but I'm sure you know. If I wanted a quick wipe down I would not have paid you and have done it myself. You gave me an estimate and stated that it would take a little longer than 2 hours. You didn't take longer than two hours and charged me at your hourly rate. I did not get a deal from you and if your initial rate was $175 for a deep cleaning you are overcharging because I received several rates much much lower than that. Plus you even admitted that you did not do a deep cleaning so how did I get a deal? The mess you claim, which was not a big mess, and does not excuse the fact that it was a poor cleaning job. Did you see my photos and comments? The counters were not clean and the TV has streaks all over it even the floor wasn't even mopped the night stand wasn't even touched. I even had to ask you to come back and vacuum and you didn't even vacuum everything. I'd prefer not to ask you to come back given that you are giving yourself excuses. This is not my first cleaning experience and you've been the worst so far. read more

I'm so sad with how my house looks. I feel like I was robbed of $160. I even tipped each lady $20 each! First off, I should have done a final walk through and I did not. My bad. I shouldn't complain because I neglected to check to work before they left. I'm too trusting. The kitchen was left a mess. See attached pictures. The cupboards were not cleaned at all on the outside. I took a brand new magic eraser and did it myself when they left. It was filthy when I got done you can see how much dirt was left to clean. I requested a deep cleaning, and it was horrible. I can't imagine what a basic cleaning is like. My daughters room was left with toys piled onto the bed, and all they did was the floors. Trash bag was left outside my front door. The glass on my China cabinet wasn't cleaned at all! The only thing I'm happy with is the restrooms. I won't hire them again. I have a 2 year old, and I like my house clean. Now, I have to call and pay another company to do what I already paid this company for. I read the reviews prior to calling, and they don't match the work. Photo's attached. DON'T waste your money! Call someone else. UPDATE: The owner called me after this and offered to come do the cleaning at 11:00 the next day herself. At first I didn't want to bother, but I figured I'd give them an opportunity to redeem themselves. Well, I was here waiting at 11:00.... 11:15 came and nobody showed up or called, so I finally sent a message. 10 minutes later the owner responded saying her kid was sick, and she can show up she will be on her way and arrive 45 min later. At that point I refused the service. The first day they were an hour late, did horrible work, after reading my post decided to contact me, I give them a chance to fix this, and they still couldn't show up on time. Horrible business ethics. I understand kids get sick, but at the very least call and say your going to be late. Don't have me waiting for you, and have me calling asking what's going on. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY! read more

Nadia is great! She responds very quickly and accommodates your schedule. She's well manner and listens to your concerns. I asked her to service my 2 bd/2 ba apt because I'm getting ready for Chinese New Year and my son's birthday party coming up. She came right on time. She brought her own supplies and equipment. They charge $45 an hour and it took four hours to clean my place which is one bedroom and one and a half bath. The cleaner was slow and unprofessional. She missed many spots like the top of the sink, and omitted a couple spots. She told my wife to do it herself because the chemical needs time to settle in. But then my wife removed the spots with not much time. The kitchen appliances look untouched but she ran out of time. We will not back to this business. read more

My sister had to move out of her condo of 32 years because of health reasons so my wife and I called M&I Maids to help us with getting the place ready for sale. It was really a mess after so many years. Dust had built up on so many surfaces, in some places an inch thick! The kitchen stove was coated with a greasy film. And the bathrooms had become absolutely toxic. They arrived on time with cheery attitudes and went to work right away cleaning. They did an expert job! The apartment I was moving into was filthy! Management said they cleaned it but it was obvious they didn't and instead of getting on their bad side, I just took care of it on my own. I knew i couldn't do this on my own and decided to hire M&I Maids. Nadia was super responsive and answered all my questions over phone and text. She was able to book me with two cleaners for 2 days later and they showed up on time. They were both really nice, they listened to my concerns and explained to me what they could and couldn't do because of risk of damages. My main concerns were dirty baseboards, marks in the closet wall, restroom walls and ceiling. They did explain to me they couldn't scrub the walls because it might chip paint off so I ended up doing that myself and I totally understand it. The baseboards had water marks probably from previous tenants mopping and they explained those cannot be scrubbed off and I totally agree and understand. But they still went over it with a magic eraser and spent extra time with it and they do look better!! They also worked on the marks on the closet wall and got some marks off! I knew the kitchen was not properly cleaned previously and I'm very happy with how the cleaner wiped everything down. Including a window by the stove that had layers of grease and dust on the blinds. The cleaner got it all cleaned off! There were some water marks leftover but I was able to wipe that myself after they left. I think she got it 90% clean and I'm happy with it! There are just some things that can't be cleaned 100% without taking it apart. They also asked me to look over the rooms and any areas of concern to see if they missed anything and it looked fine to me. The only thing I wish I did was spend more time to check the windows because it was not as clean as I had hoped. For example, the windows slide up and down and the part with the latch had dust around the corners and when you open the window up, the bottom of the window next to the screen was not cleaned l. I know if I had checked and asked, they would have done it so it's partly my fault. Everything else they did nicely. They vacuumed and mopped and dusted my fan blades without me asking. They take cash, check, or venmo. They wore masks because of Covid19. Brought their own supply of rags and cleaning agent and other materials. Very professional and highly recommend for both light housekeeping and deep cleans. My only advice is to make a list and make sure you know what you want extra clean so they know before hand and double check that list before they leave! read more

In addition to excellent work in all rooms including dealing with some serious grime in the kitchen and bathrooms, they added lots of special touches above and beyond our expectations. These included wiping down all our bottles and glasses on our bar, arranging our throw pillows and the stuffed animals in our kids' beds, straightening crooked furniture, arranging furniture nicely in a room that wasn't yet arranged, conditioning our wood furniture, and more. Did an okay job overall. I needed a move in service but seems that's not enough to let them understand what need to be cleaned. She cleaned inside of the window blinds in the bedroom but not the other side facing the window. She said because the blind control stick is broken, (which is true), and she's not supposed to touch it. But I am there! Why didn't tell me and I can turn the blinds! And she clearly didn't wipe the blind head cover. It's so dusty. Also, it's interesting that she cleaned the outside of the sliding glass door for the closet but not the inside of the sliding door. Am I not supposed to use the inside of the closet? This is funny! When I asked her to clean the other side of the sliding door and the blinds, she was upset and complained that I didn't tell her on the first place. I said "everything" at the beginning because I needed a move in cleaning service. She just left after doing it and I didn't get the chance to tell her the bathroom is still not cleaned! Another funny thing is they don't clean anything considered exterior. So you really need to clean the exterior side of your entrance door yourself. read more

I needed a post construction clean up and hired them for 3 hrs. They didn't clean it well and the older lady had a really bad attitude towards me. I'm just really hurt that they would treat me so bad and leave so much space when they could clearly see that I have a little baby and needed to hire someone. Can't believe that they could leave so much spot and and when I asked to do the interior window they didn't even touch it ( it was the part that older lady cleaned). The younger lady was better but still left some spots. I could have just dust and mop it myself if I was expecting this professionalism and customer service from them. I can't believe I paid hundreds of dollars to treated poorly by the workers and not even getting a decent service. My contractors all said they never seen such a bad post construction clean up and they were so mad also. I had to clean up everything my self the next days and when they didn't clean the windows at all which I had no idea my baby was sneezing so bad because of all the dust they left behind. read more
