We interviewed three companies and ultimately chose Villanuevas Landscape for two main reasons. First, the owner, Andres, personally came to our home to assess the scope of the project and address our questions about adding gopher wire under the sod to mitigate the gopher issue. Second, his pricing was very reasonable compared to the other estimates we received. The entire project was completed in just two days. Andres actively managed the project from start to finish, and his crew worked efficiently while paying close attention to detail. They were respectful of our property throughout the process and made sure the work area was clean at the end of each day. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend Villanuevas Landscape to anyone looking for quality landscaping work. We'll definitely be using them again for future projects!

It was a complex job because of the steepness of the slope and the need to work around existing trees. He was very flexible in adjusting the layout to the trees, at no extra charge, even though I know it caused a lot more detailed stone cutting than was planned. It's really nice to have a contractor that doesn't exploit every opportunity to charge extra. There was a lot of soil to be removed and a lot of blocks to install. It was a pretty big job and done perfectly, without cutting corners. And the lighting he installed looks really good as well! The main person on the job, Isaiah, was rude and was over his head. Concrete pours are a one shot experience. The surface had puddles, and was extremely rough. We met with four different companies and received quotes from each, but we either weren't confident in their work or just didn't feel they were the right fit until we met with JG Lawns. Craig came out to provide a free estimate and was brutally honest LOL. He never tried to oversell us or promise things that weren't realistic.  His personality and knowledge earned our trust, and combined with fair pricing, made our final decision to move forward with this company. Our project was originally expected to take about a week, but due to issues with choosing pavements and the paving company shipping the wrong materials, it ended up taking about a month. Even with the unexpected delay, Eric and Jesus (his dad) were fantastic throughout the entire process. They kept us updated every step of the way, explained any changes, and always made sure we were comfortable with the plan before moving forward. Their crew worked incredibly hard every single day. They treated our home with respect, paid attention to every detail, and always cleaned up before leaving for the day. Their pride in their work definitely shows in the finished product. We couldn't be happier with how our backyard turned out. It exceeded our expectations and has completely transformed our outdoor space. We would definitely recommend this company to anybody seeking turf and redo their yard. We are so glad we chose them.
