Caitlin is an *amazing* and talented hair stylist. I've been following her around Boulder for years, because she is THAT good. She has been cutting/styling my hair short, long, curly, straight, and we've done a variety of colors (even pink!)--and it always looks amazing. I've been wearing extensions for a while, and she has been careful to keep my hair healthy while giving me exactly what I ask for. Her extension expertise is phenomenal--I am continually (and pleasantly!) surprised at how good she is at blending the extensions in with my real hair, matching color and texture to a T. I have naturally curly/fine hair, and the extensions are not naturally curly--but she does such a great job that no one could ever tell it's not my real hair. Another perk is that she is a super friendly and wonderful person--whenever I have an appointment, it's like chatting with an old friend, and I just happen to come out with fabulous hair! Her new salon is such a welcoming place and is easy to get to, with parking always available. I highly recommend Caitlin for all your hair/stylist needs--because she is MORE than capable of doing anything! read more

I have been going to Caitlin since she was at 1313 salon and now at her new studio Prim and Pearl. She is by far the best hair stylist I have been to! I am VERY picky when it comes to my hair and Caitlin is an absolute perfectionist. Her haircuts are amazing, her color is flawless and she always gets to the root. I have blonde hair and it is always bright and beautiful, never brassy or grey. She's the only person I would trust with my extensions. She does many different kinds and is always happy to experiment. I get the I-tip microbead extensions and I absolutely love them. She picks out colors that match perfectly with your hair. They are not messy or hard to take care of. They look and feel like your natural hair. I have tried other types of extensions and these are by far my favorite. You can tell she loves her job- She is always happy and you'll leave in a better mood than when you came in. She is very knowledgable and will answer all your questions or concerns. Her prices are reasonable, especially for how amazing she is. I can't say enough good things about Caitlin! read more

I have been seeing Caitlin for 6+ years now, and she's the best stylist I've ever had! I have long hair now, but I had a pixie cut when I first started going to her. She can do fantastic cuts and styles for every length. She's also amazing with color--I'm a natural brunette, and we've done various shades of blonde highlights, fire engine red streaks, and richer brunette tones. She always listens to what I want and makes suggestions that will make the cut and/or color suit me. She has plenty of options for products and tools, but I don't feel pressured to buy anything that I don't need or want. Plus, I absolutely adore her, and it's wonderful to go see her to get my hair done! To top it all off, her prices are very reasonable! I definitely highly recommend her to anyone! read more

I have never received so many compliments on my hair ever until I started seeing Caitlin in 2013. I started with long hair (about a little higher than mid-back) when I met Caitlin. I am always one for change, but can never make a decision. I left it up to Caitlin and we decided to keep going shorter and shorter until I was at pixie length, and LOVED it. Caitlin suggested going red so we went there too... it was AMAZING. The color was perfectly layered with reds, bronze, and some yellow highlights. So pretty and so many people thought it was natural. I totally trust Caitlin with every suggestion and cut. Prim & Pearl is super conveniently located with a ton of parking. I am a customer for life. read more

I highly recommend Caitlin Tenney, she is a very talented stylist, her color expertise is beyond that of any stylist I have visited (more than I care to admit!). I am quite obssesive about my hair, Caitlin always gives me a beautiful, natural color. She listens to what you are looking for with color, style and will combine this with her expertise to give you amazing hair. I also love that she is cheerful and friendly, not one of those grumpy stylists, yes, I've had those too. Caitlin has been my stylist for over three years, I now live in Golden but drive to Boulder to have her do my color and cuts, she is absolutely worth it! read more

I have been seeing Caitlin for two years now, and I have finally found the perfect stylist! (I moved out of Boulder, and I am still willing to drive 40 minutes to see her.) Not only is she a great person, but she gives amazing cuts and color! I used to wear my hair in a fabulous pixie cut that she did for me. Now I'm ready to grow it out, and it looks great, even at that in-between stage. She really works with me to give me a style that I LOVE. She always has good suggestions to make my haircut and color look terrific! She is a real gem--I highly recommend her. I even sent some referrals to her, and they are really pleased. read more

I have been getting my hair cut and colored by Caitlin for the last six years. I picked her randomly when I first moved here, and I'm so glad I did! She is knowledgeable and friendly, and does an amazing job. I'm always getting compliments on my hair! Often I just let her do whatever she wants, rather than giving her specific directions, because I know whatever she does will turn out great. She is very responsive to any concerns or limits I do give her, making sure I am happy with what she is doing. I highly recommend her! read more

Caitlin has been taking care of my hair for seven years and I could not be happier! Her technical knowledge of color is so impressive and her creativity is unlimited. I have been going to Caitlin for 8 years (and counting) now, and will continue to no matter where I live in the front range. I cannot tell you how many times I have walked in and said "Do whatever you want (color, cut, shape), I trust you" and I always walk out LOVING my new style. I cannot say that about any other stylist I have ever visited in my life. She is super friendly and just loves what she does. Which shows in every cut I have received from her. read more

Caitlin ROCKS! I moved to CO a little over a year ago and after a few bad haircuts and colors I traveled back to UT for an appointment. Then I met Caitlin. She continues to amaze me with her talent (and all my cosmetology friends in UT & WY) whenever she does my hair. Not only is she simply darling, her professionalism, knowledge and talent in this business is amazing. People stop me and comment on my color and cut continuously. Caitlin is truly the Best!! She has been my hair stylist for the past 6 years and has taken my hair from auburn to platinum blonde, to brown and back to blonde without ever compromising my hairs health. We have also done various edgy short/mid length lobs as well as the long hair with beach babe inspired layers. Anything I have dreamt up she has been able to bring to life... A true artist! And I am beyond thankful for her!! read more

Caitlin is an amazing hair stylist! I found her looking for someone to do balayage and she did not disappoint. She is great at coloring but also manages to make my haircut 100% cuter, fresher and hipper than I could have even imagined every time. She is also excellent at taking whatever (sometimes vague) inspiration I bring in and nailing it. She's spendy but worth it. You're going to love how you look when you walk out! read more
