Update: I discovered Doctor didn't provide prescription then was not in the office this following week which is why I didn't receive the promised prescription by email. After another call to the office today, I was promised a "generic prescription" would be emailed. It never arrived so I left yet another message. It's amusing though that during this time I've received 3 surveys about quality of care at this office!

While other doctors and their staff let things slip as Covid took over, he has maintained the same high quality/expertise and concern for patients that he had couple years ago. Dr. Brodsky provided me with pros and cons of treatment options (including cost/time of recovery and where to get a walker.) When supply shortage meant the walker wasn't available, he approved another option within few minutes (thus ensuring I got walker the next day rather than week or more out.) I should heal in a few weeks enthused. Additionally appreciate that he treated me professionally. My friends took care of telling me to ditch shoes, get rid of loose rugs, and more. I highly recommend Dr. Brodsky who continues to excel.

I love Dr. Cavallo's office…read more I came here for an evaluation after I hurt my knee and went to Stamford Hospital ER and they told me I sprained my knee. A week and a half later my knee still didn't feel right. I made an appointment to go to Dr. Cavallo. He was real thorough. After he did the test. He diagnosed me with a torn meniscus in my right knee, he even said you can get a second opinion if I would like. He does a lot of them, he him self has even had the surgery. I was very surprised since Stamford hospital was so off with my diagnosis. Dr. Cavallo actually did my surgery and I was very nervous because this was my first surgery. He put me at ease and did my surgery perfectly. Recovery was long and one of the toughest things I've had to do through no fault of his. I also started physical therapy in the same office with James Caroleo and he and his team who have also been wonderful. I would highly recommended Dr. Cavallo office for your orthopedic needs.

Was told for diagnosis, to schedule appointment with regular doctor, which I did, but was booked with a PA, not doctor. 45 minutes past my appointment time to see a PA for 5 minutes who did nothing- no new tests, still no diagnosis. Someone suggested a surgeon there. Again almost 45 minutes late past my appointment time to see an older very grumpy surgeon who acted completely annoyed to answer questions . Not a professional environment in my experiences. There are several admin people when you first walk in, most not doing anything but would not check me in - said you have to do it yourself at a touch screen kiosk that no one was sanitizing after multiple people touching it. They were fast to ask for my credit card to get a copay once I checked myself in.

She quoted me a figure that was 3x more than what my insurance estimated for me so I asked (respectfully and politely) if she could check again. I would have been fine if she had politely told me that unfortunately, that is the rate, and perhaps atleast pretended to be helpful/understanding. However, she seemed very agitated and had an attitude that really turned me off. I had received a positive referral to see Dr. Brodsky but decided to cancel my appointment on the spot because of Sara/Sarah. This is really an unfortunate way to turn off new patients.

I went to see Mel Gabriel at the recommendation of the law firm handling my personal injury…read morelawsuit, Ventura Law. It was only on their insistence that I should go to Gabriel 2-3 times per week. He did nothing to help me with my injury. Each time I would go in someone would put on the little pads attached to an electronic stimulating machine for 10-15 minutes. Never did Gabriel give me any tips or exercises to do at home, nor did anyone every even message my aching injury. I learned that Mel Gabriel practice is made up of 99% of patients with personal injury lawsuits, recommended by their attorneys because Mel is not honest and will write up a report conducive to the law suit. And as it turns out, Gabriel is in cohoots with my law firm, Ventura Law in order to manipulate the medical charges that the victim must pay out of their proceeds. The lawyers tell the victim that the bill for Gabriel is $10,000 for example, meanwhile the lawyers pay Gabriel only $5,000 and the lawyers pocket the rest or $5,000. Shocking, I must say, but I have evidence to support this claim. I am now suing Ventura Law for legal malpractice and fraud. MEL Gabriel will be called in as a witness and there I will expose him for the criminal that he is.
