Dr. Sekhon immediately recognized the urgency of my husband's situation (serious back compression progressing towards cauda equina syndrome). Dr. Sekhon scheduled my husband within 3 DAYS for emergency surgery. Last July 2025 I fell down my stairs and broke my left hip, I had to go to the emergency room and a doctor over at Swift Institute was on the Emergency side of it, and replaced my hip with a few screws. Well, the screws were coming out as I walked, so I saw Dr. Winkle back at great basin, and he said you're gonna have to have your hip totally replaced, as the screws are poking out.! I ended up in the hospital a few days after surgery with a stomach problem, and he actually came by to see me, and it had nothing to do with my hip, he just wanted to make sure I was OK! Absolutely incredible Dr, I highly recommend him and any doctor at Great Basin Orthopedics! The best! I needed a nausea medicine, and unbeknownst to Dr. Winkle the medicine he gave me for nausea also helped the stomach problem I was having so I could eat again, no other doctor has ever prescribed that medicine for me and I get these stomach issues a lot, we were really impressed!
