Very attentive. There's usually not much of a weight when you have an appointment.. they do have an emergency access that you can walk in and say that you have something going on and they'll get you in to see a doctor. I've had my knees replaced both of them by Christopher Dolan. You did a very good job.

Visited here for hand therapy. Great team of professionals. Evaluated my need and created a program for recovery. Enjoyed working with this group during my time there. Front desk staff were helpful with check in and follow up as well as setting appointments. Great team!

Right after arthroscopy. Just waking up.

Convenient since I live in South Reno. The staff is friendly. I see Dr. Fyda for my knee. Two knee surgeries. Almost painless. Physical therapy is upstairs. So glad I found a quality facility!

My husband was in a car accident. He got braces for his wrists when they were sprained. The nurse they put them on him had put them on him wrong, according to his physical therapist. He was wearing them the wrong way for 2 weeks before he had seen the physical therapist that showed him the right way. He got in that accident in February. He did not get an MRI ordered. They did x rays and couldn't see anything wrong, but not an MRI. We went back for a check up a month after that. The nurse then also said he would be getting new x rays even though he had already gotten some. The dr came in and said no, he wouldn't be getting x rays. So the nurse was not correctly informed. Also, he went back in for my husband's MRI results (Aaron said the MRI needed to wait until then- so three months later). The results came out good, but my husband is still in pain. Aaron said that if there was something wrong, it healed so now there is nothing else that can be done. They waited a long time for him to get an MRI rather than doing it sooner. Now he has pain that might not go away-at least not for a while, as it has been 3 months and the pain is still there. Also he waited over an hour to see the doctor. The lady that was assisting Aaron filled out his return to work paperwork and did it incorrectly with unnecessary restrictions (that he can't squat). I'm not sure how squatting ties into wrist pain but it was added on there. Hopefully his work accepts it. If not, he will have to go back to primary care to get the paperwork fixed. Should either of us need an orthopedic doctor again, we will be sure to go see someone else that won't delay necessary tests. The two stars are for reception. They were very nice and efficient.

Late post -- Reno Orthopedic Surgery Center…read more Let's be honest--no one wants to spend time at a surgical center. But when you're greeted by familiar, friendly faces each visit, it truly makes the experience feel far less intimidating. I've been here a few times now, and it really hit me how many incredible nurses I've encountered but never properly acknowledged. In the moment, you're focused on the procedure--but it's the people who leave the lasting impression. A heartfelt thank you to Kenya and Jenn for taking such great care of me during both pre-op and recovery. Their calm, attentive approach immediately put me at ease. And to the entire OR team--about 5-6 nurses whose names I didn't have the chance to catch--your professionalism and seamless teamwork did not go unnoticed. Of course, I'm also incredibly grateful to my orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon, Dr. Lundeen, along with Alex Ernst, MD, and Lindsey Whitlock, CFA. Having a team you trust makes all the difference, and I truly felt I was in the best hands. And a very special shoutout to Jen B--my "IV queen." At this point, she recognizes me not just by name, but by face--and that level of familiarity brings instant comfort. She is truly one and done every single time, and I can't thank her enough. To Jen B and all of the amazing nurses here--your compassion, patience, and dedication don't just make a difference... they define the entire experience. Highly recommend this team if you're ever in need of their services. Grateful beyond words.

While I was acknowledged and recognized, I was focused on taking notes for my friend. Dr. Kafchinski saw I was note taking and asked if she needed to slow down or repeat herself. She explained things very clearly and made a situation that could have been scary sound manageable and treatable. I also appreciate that she didn't make any false promises because we still needed to get answers from other tests. She was timely in seeing us and stayed focused on the conversation of diagnosis and tests to be done.

As we walk in first point of contact was front desk girl who looked so upset that we were walking in. I get it, sucks to work on a Saturday but if you are the first thing a patient sees as they are hurting maybe you should be a little more welcoming or compassionate. We got help by person sitting next to her who right away greeted us with a smile. My sister felt worst in Monday 5/12 so I took her back as she had said she felt like something had snapped in her knee and this time she was not able to put any weight on it. As soon as Sierra saw us she said and I quote" You were here Saturday, we aren't going to be able to do anything for your today" I work in healthcare and I would never just off the bat refuse service to anyone. Front desk staff should not be giving out medical advice! This girl didn't even let us get a word in before she even shut us down. And once again she had that annoyed/ mad expression. My sister asked for a doctor's note and she said " I can't provide that for you, the Dr. Has to do it" Sierra if you would of let us just speak you would understand we were not asking YOU for the note as you are not the provider that saw her or treated her! But since she obviously looks like she hates her job she ushered us out fast. We were able to get seen in the ER as my sister did dislocate her knee and from Saturday to Monday the situation changed! Thankfully SWIFT got us in right away as well! Please ROC do better with your front desk staff. We are coming to you scared, hurt and just needing help or resources as to what to do next. But instead we got treated poorly by front desk staff. Horrible experience!

I highly recommend him for any of your regenerative medicine STEM Cell or PRP injection needs to avoid having invasive surgery. He is a doctor you can trust with over 45 years as an orthopedic surgeon replacing thousands of joints ( hips and knees) in his old life. He has continued to innovate his renegerative medicine methods over the years and helped me stay active . So, wouldn't you rather have an stem cell treatment or PRP injection rather than a joint replacement? I commute from Sacramento to Reno for his treatments and his prices are the lowest I have seen after talking to over 20 doctors. He also does provide phone consultations for free and will be honest about whether or not he thinks he can reallly help you!
