I received a referral due to the car accident, and luckily I was able to get in next day (today). Staff was very thorough on what information they needed to bill and what images I needed before hand. It's somewhat out of the area, but I think it's worth it. The Dr. Was very thorough and made me feel at ease. I have a follow up in a few weeks to see how I am recovering. I will also start treatment with a machine to help with my nerves. 7/17/19 Update:Follow up office visit. I am so grateful for the referral that brought me here! Dr. Tatro has a great bedside manner. I recently discovered that I have arthritis in my shoulder. I came in because I couldn't dress myself or put my bra on. My right shoulder hurt like the dickens. Dr. Tatro said I had bursitis, tendinitis. After x-rays we found out that I also had arthritis. She recommended I see a physical therapist. She gave me several to choose from. If my pain returns I will call and get another appointment with Dr. Tatro. Diana is the receptionist. She is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Office is always clean. Staff is efficient and kind. Right now because of the construction on McCarren it is a little bit of a bear getting onto Roberta Lane. Parking lot is limited but I have never seen it full. Staff are amazing and so is Dr Burke! Highly recommend Silver State Spinecare. I was in extreme pain due to (what turned out to be) a ruptured disc. When I called in Kim was very friendly and efficient getting me in right away. Megan at the front desk was amazing when I got to the office. All of the staff was helpful getting me into a room, offering water, making sure I was as comfortable as possible. Dr Burke is very good at explaining exactly what is happening and suggesting treatment options. Follow up was fantastic also. I ended up having surgery but will continue to see him for further treatments as I heal. Office is very clean and comfortable. Parking is limited, but enough for building capacity. Staff is mostly excellent. The younger receptionist can be rude, but the medical assistants are amazing. When I asked my physical therapist who he would go to for back problems he suggested Dr. Bantum. I am so glad I asked. I have had back pain for the last 8 or 10 years but started as very sporadic, usually just when I stood for extended periods of time. It finally got to the point that I was in pain all the time, just varying degrees of pain. I could walk no more than about 1/4 mile, couldn't sweep or mop my floors (thank goodness for my husband) and couldn't stand long enough to do dishes. In addition I had tingling and burning in my back that made my legs feel as if they would collapse on me. Dr. Bantum explained what he thought was going on and suggested I start with 4 weeks of PT. That didn't do it so he suggested an epidural. He did the procedure and it was a success. I could not be more pleased with his treatment of me both on the medical and personal levels. His staff is top notch and his office is so pleasant. You never have to wait long to be seen and he is extremely patient and explains everything in a manner that I could understand. He was very caring and when the injections were no longer helping he was honest and I suggested I see a surgeon for a permanent solution. I have found Dr. Bantum and his staff (especially Diana and Maria) to be nothing short of awesome. Dr. Bantum has a personality that would make anyone feel comfortable and at ease.
