Stopped in to try a new place after driving all day before completing my drive home. I had wanted to get a foot massage prior to my body massage but they would not allow me to wait in a foot massage chair, I was shown to a room to wait. I was not there too long before a therapist came to take me for a foot massage. I sat in the foot massage chair and when I leaned back the light on the ceiling was positioned directly over my face at full brightness. I asked her if the light could be dimmed but she could not. The other vacant chair in the room also had a light above it in the same place. She had to get a towel to cover my face to keep the light out of my eyes. Typically foot massage rooms are very dim for relaxation, very strange they would have such bright lighting in there that could not be lowered. Partway through the foot massage, a male employee came in and began having a conversation with my therapist, he made no attempt to whisper in order to not disturb the relaxing customer. Other than the light and the interruption the foot massage itself was great. Moved to the body massage room. Unfortunately, my therapist was wearing jeans. I have an odd hatred for the feeling of jean material. You don't realize how much your therapist's pants touch your skin during a massage until they are wearing jeans. Yoga pants, sweats, scrubs don't bother me at all. She spent at least the first 10 minutes of the massage on the massage table with me crawling around using her knees and elbows which normally feels great but the jeans material digging into me was really distracting. After she was done using her knees the massage was more relaxing. When I turned over the lights were again in my eyes and could not be dimmed. I felt her place something in my hand while I had my eyes closed, it was my phone. Confused I looked at her, she said most people that come there like to look at their phone and watch videos after they turn over for the rest of the massage. I've been to probably 50 different massage parlor's all over the country, that was a first. Other than the jeans and lights that could not be dimmed she gave me a great massage. If I lived in the area I would go back to see her again (only if no jeans!).

The guy on the phone said yes. When I got there, the menu said Thai massage, and the masseuse said the owner told her it was $70. The original price is $90. I agreed, and she said, 'Okay, you pay now.' I thought that was a bit strange to pay ahead of time, but I didn't mind. When she came back with my change ($30), she asked if I needed it. That threw me off. I said, 'Excuse me,' and she said, 'Tip now, yes?' I was desperate, so I said, 'Okay, just give me a $5 back.' She thanked me, gave me candy, and walked me to the room. The massage was not Thai at all. It was a medium-pressure rub. The neck rub was a very fast movement up and down on my neck, which I thought was the warm-up. Okay, pause. I'm not into negative reviews unless it's absolutely necessary and to protect those coming behind me. And to be honest, the massage was very uncomfortable. I could barely twist until it was over. The hot stones she used were way too hot, and I really don't think she's ever given a massage before. Sadly, my neck is in worse shape than when I went in. So much so that I had to schedule a chiropractor appointment because I can barely move my neck up and down, let alone left to right. I should probably call them, but they don't seem like the type of place that would do anything about it.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! I had checked out reviews of this massage studio and based on the great…read moreYelp reviews, I decided to give it a try. First, a little background about me. I am a weightlifter, Rock Climber, yoga practitioner, and motorcyclist. I have a history of herniated disks in my neck and my lower back. Because I am so active and have these existing conditions, I need a massage therapist who can work with these issues and also do a lot of deep tissue massage to decrease tension from all my hard work outs. For my first visit to this massage studio, I had an active headache which had been with me for nine days. I have some kind of a pinch going on in the nerves of my neck which was making me cranky and causing low grade consistent pain. The first benefit is that this massage studio works with the chiropractor I am seeing at Advanced Pain and Spine center right next door. They collaborate on a holistic treatment. I had no idea that that I had independently booked appointments with medical professionals that were right next to each other! How convenient! Not only is Shae delightful, she executed an amazingly therapeutic massage. For the first time in nine days I don't have a miserable headache which was making me grumpy! She is easily able to find all the tension that pulls on my spine and nerves and released them. I am an athlete and I need deep tissue that is very therapeutic and I have pre-existing spine conditions. If you want an expert who can keep you fit and active and feeling great, you absolutely must come to this massage studio! I am going to see Shae regularly as part of not only my healing process from neuropathy due to herniated disc's in my neck, but also to keep my body limber and very high functioning well I continue to be extremely active and fit.

Excellent massage! I slept during most if it lol. I have never been so relaxed. Highly recommend…read moreand will be back often!
