I've had my fair share of massages over the years at various massage places and I have never, ever in my life had as much relief from a massage then I do when Obo works his magic. Ok. I've been here twice. First time, Angie was terrific. She has strong hands, and go go very deep tissue. However, I'm a wuss(?) so don't like it too deep - it hurts! But she listened to me and really worked out my knotted neck and back. I'm sure she can handle whatever your body needs, so feel free to ask for her. That said, I just saw Obo. Again very strong hands. Sometimes it hurt, but I felt it hurt less and less as he massaged and stretched away my stress. Quite remarkable actually. I'm not surprised to know he's going for his doctorate for physical therapy. I was shocked when after 1 minute, he said " you sleep on your left side, don't you?" He nailed it! Yes I do. When first arriving he will have you fill out a short 1 page intake form to see what you are looking to get from the massage. Office is small and quaint . Enjoyed the relaxing feel as well as the different stones and Himalayan salt lamps that were about . This guy gets it. When I've had massages elsewhere, they asked me if I had any problem areas, and then proceeded to give me the same cookie-cutter massage they give everyone else. I would leave feeling refreshed and relaxed, but not much else, and it'd be well over a year before I would get another. With Obo, on the other hand, the idea of a sleepy 60 minutes went right out the window. I told him I had some back pain, and he spent the entire working just on that. His massage was more "physical therapy" than "day at the spa." I left feeling like I had done something to improve my overall health and well-being and not just "treat yo self."
