I have long standing chronic neck pain. I've had conventional and holistic treatment, and usually find combining these elements of healthcare work well together. Yesterday I underwent TPI and was feeling terribly stiff and achy. I searched for a place to go and landed on New You (they were the only place with availability). I arrived and explained that I needed more than the average 30 minute chair massage, and combined for 45 minutes. I was under the care of Jessica (or Jessia) and I almost cried. This skillful masseuse instinctively knew that I needed a very strong and deep massage. And she ended with my neck. I whined when it was finished because I had never felt so good. And once I sat up she stood behind me and messaged my neck for another couple of minutes. I have no idea if that is typical, or she knew the sheer level of arthritis and muscular pain I walked in with. Relaxing massages are great but that's not what I need, and I didn't even have to explain that. She was so lovely and skillful. I fully intend to be a regular there, and will be asking specifically to be under the care of Jessica (or Jessia). read more

I was very disappointed in my experience. I didn't get a massage here so I can't rate that. Here's my story: I was gifted a gift card to this establishment for my birthday and was very excited to use it. They use a third party website to purchase gift cards. On this site, you have to sign up/create an account and book an appointment. When you get to the payment part, there is no option to use a gift card. Instead, they ask you to enter your credit card information. Why should I have to enter my credit card information if I have a gift card, especially as that was the sole purpose of having to sign up to use the gift card and schedule an appointment. That was the first red flag for me. So I thought, let me call them instead and book the appointment since the site doesn't seem to have an option to select that I have a gift card I want to use. What I didn't want to happen is I enter my credit card information and then go for my massage just to be told I have to pay with my credit card and that they wouldn't somehow recognize or even accept my gift card. This turned out to be the case. When I make the phone call, I explained I had a gift card and that I want to make an appointment. I was told to just come in and I tried to clarify if it's better to make an appointment or just walk in (people that were walking in were being told they would have to come back in an hour/45 minutes as they didn't have people avaiable). The man on the phone kept saying to come in multiple times and at some point changed his mind and said that appointment is better. I tell him what time I want to come in the next day but it doesn't seem like he really takes note of that as he didn't really ask for my information. The next day I go in just to be told that they don't accept gift cards and do not have any record of a gift card purchase and that I should get a refund. I showed them a copy of the digital gift card and also mentioned to them that they have a link on their website that allows people to buy gift cards and there wasn't really any acknowledgement of that. I told them that they might want to take that down if they don't accept gift cards as payments. They asked me if I still wanted to have a massage appointment and I declined. read more

New You Massage - Front entrance - Massage Near Me - Roswell, Georgia

Wasn't bad, wasn't good. Pricing was fair but the quality of massge was questionable. Definitely felt like pacing wasn't too good and out of 1 hr massage i got, 55 minutes were spend on my back side and quick 10 min on my front. The lady was nice but wished that the massage was more firm. read more

I've had really bad neck and shoulder pain for a while now and really wanted a chair massage. I looked all over Roswell and Alpharetta, and finally found New You, which had a picture under services of a chair massage. I called, and they said they did chair massages and they had availability so I went over. I told him that I wanted the chair massage. I was led to one of the foot massage chairs and told that this was the same thing. I was like no. I want a chair massage like in this picture because I had bad neck and shoulder tightness, and they assured me that this was better. Then my masseuse started doing a full body massage. I explicitly asked for my shoulders and my neck. Essentially, I just paid the exact same price for just a private full body massage, but with the added benefit of being fully clothed in the middle of a public room. So now I feel like I have rug burn from my clothing, and I couldn't fully relax. My masseuse was very nice. And when he was working on my neck, he did a good job, but this was not at all what I asked for or what I needed. For paying full massage price, I would have gone to a spa or gotten one of the rooms. This was such a frustrating and disappointing experience. I needed my knots worked on. Not a rub down. read more

Nightmare experience with my pregnant wife today who received a fresha giftcard to this place (from their website). She even called yesterday to confirm the appointment and gift card and they said come in! come in! She shows up and is told no gift cards allowed and to cancel her appointment. I call the place to ask for clarity and they hang up on me. read more

If you prefer the same therapist every time or appreciate a business keeping its promises when you book an appointment, avoid this place at all costs. The guy at the front desk will give away your reservations if it benefits him. We brought two family members one night and he asks if we can come back in 45 minutes! Four appts. Tonight we arrived for our appointments and he asks us to wait 10 minutes. Not a big deal. Then he proceeds to ask if we prefer different gender therapists. No. Then says "couple room, right?" NO, we always ask for separate rooms. Final straw: he just jacked his prices 20% so a 90 minute massage went from $100 to $120. We used to pay $72 in CA. So much for things being cheaper in GA. We won't be back. He is too frustrating and does not care about his customer at all. read more

I've been here twice--Tiffany was my therapist the first time and Alan (although the gentleman that booked it kept saying Annie), so just know if he says Annie, it's Alan. Honestly I was disappointed Tiffany and Bella weren't available because of all their great reviews and then Kenny wasn't either, but Alan was great! He didn't speak English but it was fine since the pressure was great and I felt like he really knew what he was doing. The prices seem fair for the area (I miss CA prices!) but it's very worth it to me and I'd much prefer reflexology over a fancy spa experience. I feel like this place has great ambiance, it's easy to book a same day appointment and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend! read more

It's been 4 long years since my last couples massage and massage for that matter. Chalk it up to priorities, moneys been in tight supply, but we final did it. 90 minutes of glorious rub downs with my wify in the same room delivered by Kenny and Jenny, two very attentive Chinese massage masters. The old us transformed into the new them, and for the better. We were ready to take on new challenges. Hope it won't be until another 4 years. Thank you Owner Michael. read more

Best massage place ever. Reasonable rates. short wait. very relaxing. Had a great time with my friend. Lisa J

New You is a great place when you're in need of a last-minute massage. When I called, the kind man scheduled me for the very next day. I was so appreciative and pleasantly surprised they were so accommodating! The staff is so friendly - they all greeted me with smiles upon arrival. Right away, I was ushered into a quiet, clean room for my 90-minute massage. I communicated my trouble spots to the massage therapist. Chinese is the primary language spoken here, but we were able to understand each other well enough - smiles are universal, too, right!?! I wanted more of a therapeutic massage versus relaxation and that is exactly what I received. I walked out of New You feeling like New Me! I paid $90 plus tip for my session. That's very fair. The prices were clearly displayed at the counter, but also I confirmed the price when I called to schedule. There were no surprises. I have a membership to a local massage business, but it is difficult to schedule massages. Once I conclude that membership, I will not renew and pursue therapeutic massage through spots like New You. read more

I'm an event planner and just completed two large back-to-back events - meaning long hours on my feet. I was in the shopping mall at one of the stores and noticed this massage place. It had some great Yelp reviews, which lead me to give it a try. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. He was able to squeeze me on the schedule as a walk-in. I chose the 90 minute package - 60 minutes full body massage and 30 minutes foot massage. It was absolutely wonderful. The room was clean. The massage therapist did a phenomenal job. I asked for medium pressure and he maintained that throughout the entire session. I had a lingering tailbone issue that my chiropractor hasn't been able to fix. She did such a wonderful job the pain is now completely gone. The hot stones and towel was a nice touch. She didn't use too much lotion, also a plus! I hate leaving a massage feeling like I have a bottle of lotion on my body! My only recommendation would be adding soft music in the room to help drown out some of the noise. read more

I would give 10 stars if I could. This place is amazing! The staff and owner are very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I've already been a few times with my boyfriend and each time we go we're already planning our next trip back when we leave. The deep tissue and Swedish massages are great. We've also gotten cupping and it felt amazing. Highly recommend coming here! read more

Just returned from Thailand. Said I wanted a traditional Thai massage and described it. Receptionist confirmed that is what they do. Nope...massage was nothing like a traditional Thai massage. Whatever kind of massage it was, it was just OK. And expensive. Not planning to return. read more

Amazing massages and totally relaxing. I came here since I saw they offered cupping. I use to get it when I lived in NYC and found it pretty cool they had two options, the more traditional and machine. I tried the machine version and it was an experience. I have also done a few back massages and foot and all are amazing. Well priced and place inside is huge with a lower level. read more

I consider myself a massage snob, and I definitely know the difference between mediocre and excellent foot massage. It was by chance that I decided to give New You a try and now I have no reason to venture to Buford Hwy (unless of course I want Korean food). I purchased the combo treatment which includes 30 min foot massage and 30 min body. The massage was thorough and the therapist was highly skilled. I walked in tight and left feeling amazing. I'll return! read more

I called inquiring about a gift certificate (advertised on the website) for a friend. The person on the phone told me I could only get one by coming into the store (not advertised online). This is not possible given I live on the other side of the country. I explained this to them twice and asked if I could get one over the phone or online. The person answering the phone hung up on me. I would suggest making this process easier or specifying how to get a gift certificate online. Poor customer service regardless of the gift certificate policy. read more

So affordable and all the people are so nice here! The owner, who is a pain specialist, even adjusted my neck in a chair for free. I can't even get that level of relief from a chiropractor! I'm counting the days until I'm back read more

New You Massage - New You Massage - Massage Near Me - Roswell, Georgia

I've been going to New You Massage off and for the last couple of years. My last visit was a month ago. When I walked in for my appt today, I saw that they raised their prices $10 across-the-board. There was no mention on their website about any price changes. I asked the manager about it and all he did was laugh. Decent business practice usually calls for a gradual increase, not a whopping $10 price gouge. Their new rates are higher than the competitors in the area. To make matters worse, my regular masseuse Bella did not do a good job. She seemed to be just going through the motions. My massage was very underwhelming. This was disappointing because she is usually better than that. So, What's going on? They raise the price and the service gets worse?! There are so many other massage therapy businesses in the area. They need to keep this in mind. I will not be returning. read more

Pro- clean setting Cons- everything else. I normally don't give massage place bad review . But I have to be honest here! One day, I walk in and I ask what is the difference between acupressure and sport massage. The staff is unprofessional toward me and all they want to do is to put me into the room immediately. Firstly, you cannot answer me this question . The masseuse cannot communicate in English. The lady asked me to take off my clothes and rush to massage my back. I pause and ask her before she start to give me a hard massage. Man! She cannot understand English and she asked me if I wanted medium or soft and I said I want it hard because I have a pain from my left shoulder. she said I cannot do hard. She walk out and grab someone that speaking English, taking more time and want to charge me extra for something that I get every where else. I'm Asian and I feel bad for all the other people that been through this too. Hopefully the staff will communicate better. read more

I love this place! Tiffany is the one I go to for a full body massage, and now I will be going to Kenny for foot massage. Both of them are incredibly professional and better than "highend" places Iv been too. They actually get the spots where I am sore, and more. I recently had Kenny for the first time, I came in after a few long days on my feet that were killing me. He got every sore spot, and my feet feel so much better. Each time I leave I feel like a new person. Highly recommended this place. -I have been to many massage places in my life. But I gotta say, this place is special. Thank you Tiffany and Kenny and all who work there to make us feel good and comfortable! read more

Just got back from out of town and get message, so relaxing and great massages, we will be back soon!

Always able to get service as a walk-in, very friendly, clean, great prices. Nice place to hit with a friend after long stressful day. Can be hit or miss with full body services if you don't ask for a specific person. Technique and skill vary. But that is true for most spas so it's something I can overlook for the price and convenience. read more

I can't believe that I've lived close to New You Massage and had never tried it before. After my experience this morning, I will certainly be returning. The facility is very nicely appointed and the massage rooms (at least the one I was placed in) are very comfortable. Most importantly, the quality of the massage was superb (and I do have experience with massage spas on cruise ships and in fine hotels). My masseuse was Tiffany, but I suspect that all their staff are top notch! read more

Massages are great...but they recently increased their price by an additional $20 an hour. That's a huge jump, of 33%....no thx!

This place is so good. The foot reflexology and combo massages are so relaxing, and my whole body feels so much better after.
