Yesterday I underwent TPI and was feeling terribly stiff and achy. I searched for a place to go and landed on New You (they were the only place with availability). I arrived and explained that I needed more than the average 30 minute chair massage, and combined for 45 minutes. I was under the care of Jessica (or Jessia) and I almost cried. This skillful masseuse instinctively knew that I needed a very strong and deep massage. And she ended with my neck. I whined when it was finished because I had never felt so good. And once I sat up she stood behind me and messaged my neck for another couple of minutes. I have no idea if that is typical, or she knew the sheer level of arthritis and muscular pain I walked in with. Relaxing massages are great but that's not what I need, and I didn't even have to explain that. She was so lovely and skillful.
