I went to her many times and trust me when I say I would have continued going if it weren't for this incident. I was then told ONLY gel not manicure! I never heard that you can promise profusely that they would totally do it again then only offer half. Don't get to close to your manicurist. They know how to take advantage of their clients. They used cheap product on my quite expensive mani and then lied to me. I was told I would get a free full mani with gel to make up for the cheap chipping mani. Not true. Never happened. So, I don't go there anymore. L's vacation was most likely the most important thing on her mind at that time. This was the worst review I've given but I felt it had to be said. I'm sure those who go now will be totally satisfied because the salon most likely finally went out and bought the expensive base by now. Oh, and I find out that June 29, 2015 that my toenails were done in gel......... Hello, not what I wanted!! Just plain pedi, that's what I asked for originally . How do you take that off? Not at home, that's for sure. Unbelievable

Let me just start by saying that I'm giving this four stars because of how long it took to see…read moresomeone to get my nails done. I went yesterday as a walk-in and waited 35 minutes before sitting down and then they realized that I had acrylic on my nails and the girl that took me didn't do acrylics and I had to wait even longer for someone else they did. I was pressed for for time and decided to leave and come back today. When I came back today, I was told that it would be two hours until I could be seen so I made an appointment for two hours later and came back again. I am so glad that I didn't just give up and decide to go somewhere else. Anna took care of me and saw my thick acrylic nails and read my mind and suggested that I get the acrylic taken off and try the dip nail polish. I was hesitant because my nails are so thin to begin with I was afraid taking off the acrylic would just leave them so weak that I would lose all the nails that I've been finally able to grow out. She was so gentle and took her time.able to get the majority of the acrylic off and was able to file them so they looked flat and beautiful! I am so happy that I am giving Anna 5 stars and will be going to her from now on!

First and foremost this is a no-frills place for those looking for pedicures. Didn't know this…read moreuntil I sat down and saw there were no specials. Cash only. NO advertising of this until I got to the register ("we've always been cash free" per owner, yeah well this was my first time). No ATM onsite. Have to leave and go to the convenience store to get money. I wonder how many times customers leave to "get cash at the atm" and don't return. Pedicure was horrible. Left with cracked and hard calluses still on my feet. Polish was streaky and lopsided on my toes. I rarely get pedicures and do them myself at home. This service is moreso a special treat to myself for nice occasions. I could've done a better job myself at home and saved the $$$s.

Recently I've been getting a buildup gel product that she offers instead of acrylic. I absolutely love it. It gives a natural effortless look that compliments all skin tones. I cannot continue to support this business with my patronage. My nails are naturally VERY thin and…read moreflexible. Every time I have had a service here, I have always asked for my nails to be hand filed rather than drill filed due to how thin they are. My requests are usually ignored When I need my gel/dip nails removed, rather than a gentle soak off with acetone and polish remover, the tech will JAM ANOTHER NAIL TIP UNDERNEATH my nails to remove them and it is so painful!! When I wince; they always act annoyed or surprised. Like hello? You are tearing up my nails. I thought these behaviors were normal and I lived dreading certain parts of what is supposed to be a relaxing service. Unfortunately I have had this happen at other salons in the area as well. I recently spoke to and received phenomenal service from a professional nail technician who works at a different salon, and she told me that these poor practices are due to laziness and because some salons want to get as many people in and out as they can. Please be aware that this is not ok. Now I know better and will not be back. PS: Once when I asked for the heels of my feet to be scrubbed for callouses, they pulled out A LITERAL LEMON ZESTER TO TAKE THE SKIN OFF MY FEET. Pretty sure that is not sanitary nor a safe practice.

I went to this place on a whim because I needed my nails done. I've only heard good things about…read morethis place which is why i'm so confused why I didn't get a good service. Let's start with the fact that my reservation was for 3:00pm and I wasn't started until 4:30. In the middle of a pandemic, my nail tech didn't have mask on. I didn't think too much of it because there was a total of 4 people in the salon, but still. I put the pictures of the nails I was going for. It took her almost an hour to get the length, shape, and apply acrylic. The shape she gave me was way too long, but I didn't say much because I could work with it. I didn't mind. Mentioning that her and the other nail tech were sharing supplies and tools between clients. When I was told to wash my hands, I entered the bathroom and I was absolutely disgusted. It reeked of marijuana and there was a small bowl that had debris floating; along with a nail brush that was practically decaying away. By the time she started on the polish, it was 5:45pm. The application of the polish was so messy and it only highlighted that the acrylic was uneven and bumpy. She was also applying it so lazily and the shade she chose did not match the one in the picture that I showed her almost every 3 mins. When she started the design, it took her about four times before I had to cut the appointment short. I expressed that the polish application was terrible and that I would pay for at least half, but I couldn't have her continue. When I walked out, I had realized that the polish on my thumbs did not cure under the light and I was able to essentially peel the polish off. I had called back the next day expressing how upset I was with my services and wanted a refund. The "manager" told me that I could not get one because of there "no refund" policy. There was not one sign in that place that said anything about a policy. Very upset. I do not recommend that you come here. I have never spent more than 45 mins to an hour getting my nails done and I was there for almost 3 hours. I will be going to Thucc's Nail Salon which is not far from this place. I highly recommend him!
