Dropped in to try out this nail salon because it looked clean and was close to home. Asked for a massage pedicure and also wanted a manicure with no polish- but the girl at the front desk told me they only had time for pedicure and I should make an appointment if I wanted both. I thought this was reasonable. My pedicure was done by a very nice woman. However, she did not do that great of a job. For one, the nails are still very rough on the edges, and the callus removal consisted of her placing some gel on them and lightly scrubbing them- which doesn't do the job. After the nails were complete, I sat at the front for about 15 mins before leaving to allow them to dry. When I got up to leave I noted 2 stylist sitting at their chairs looking at their phones. Apparently too busy to do a manicure on someone who requires no polish. Mind you this was 2 h prior to closing time as well. I won't be back. read more

*PLEASE READ* My sister and I came here for the first time today. She had a full set, and I had a gel manicure. Please look carefully at the pictures I have posted. The worst manicure I have had in the Lehigh Valley. So dissatisfied. Waaayyyyy overpriced for what you get. My nails are missing spots where there should be color... the polish is bumpy and there are bubbles! My poor sister ... she's is pain now due to the fact the the technician CUT HER MULTIPLE TIMES and applied styptic to the areas. Her cuticles are a disaster, and the nails look uneven - bumpy and inconsistent. The woman filed into her actual skin and natural nail on the sides. Then managed to upcharge for gel polish. Just look at her nails! If we had had more time, I would have demanded they fix our nails, especially hers. I absolutely would NEVER RECOMMEND this place. $100 down the drain. I returned for another pedicure, but also got a gel mani this time. The pedi was great just like the first time, aka the best pedicure ever, but the mani was just okay. The polish was applied a little sloppily for gel, and since it's double the price, I wasn't thrilled with that ($30 for a gel mani). I did have a different technician, who's name I didn't catch, so maybe that was part of it. She shaped my nails fine and did my cuticles nicely. The hand massage was good and all the equipment was sterile. I guess I should have known when she had to take out a UV light, in my experiences salons that have them built into the manicure stations do them much better than salons that have to take the lights out. Big plus, they did the pedi first so my toes could dry while I was getting the gel, which is my preference when getting a gel mani/regular pedi. I'll definitely be back, and I'll make sure I go on a day Ty is there so I can have her do my gel mani. And I'd definitely get a regular mani here. UPDATE 10/27: I'm not going to knock another star off because the pedicure is just so great, but be gel held up badly. Normally I can get 2-3 weeks with gel but I barely got 10 days out of them, they started chipping after a week. Very disappointing read more

I travel all over the country and this place was one of the best pedicure places that I have encountered. I drove 30 miles out of my way today on a trip to NYC to go here, and it was less than an average pedicure. While the salon was pretty dead, with lots of staff standing around, my technician seemed rushed. She rushed through every stage of my pedi. LAME prep, lame exfoliation and lame massage. I even tried to salvage the experience by giving a bit of guidance as to what I liked. Made it worse. She didn't try harder. Just blew it off. She smacked my legs and feet rather than massaging. I came home with rough scratchy feet. See pic. Now I will end up blowing the $42 I spent and will get a better one next week somewhere. Very sad. read more

I worked here and I did not enjoy it I was yelled at a lot and I could not understand the owner speaking to me in Vietnamese. I did get my nails done here and they don't look very good I did not get my cuticles removed or my skin freshened up I did not get a massage on my hands or anything the ladies were very crabby and whiny about whose turn it was because they don't want to take certain people and my nails looked OK they also don't offer credit back if they mess up!!! read more

I used to love going here and the staff are sweet. I went to get dip and tip removal recently though and they ruined my nails. They used the nail file machine thing for the entire removal and basically took a layer of nail off my actual nail and i was in physical pain for weeks until my nails grew out again. I will never go back because that trust was broken. However if you have great experiences there just make sure you know more about nails and dip removal than i did. read more

This place is great!! I am almost hesitant to post a review on here because I am afraid to let the big secret out. Their pedicure - best in town for $35. They do paraffin, heated booties - no extra charge. They also don't skimp on the massage, which is key for me. I also now get my nails done there, by Tina. She does a really good job, even does the different colored acrylics for the tips. And not just white - I got sparkly red tips for the holidays. Though, the multi-color tips run about $50...but they look great! I will not go anywhere else again, they have my business. It's rare that I make an appointment before I leave the salon, but I always make sure that I have my next appointment made before I walk out the door. Tina is really busy - I suggest making an appointment with her. She's excellent!! Tell her Megan sent you! AND - it doesn't smell horrible like most nail salons. Super disappointed with this place. I was here with a bridal party - there were 7 or so of us that came the day before my friend's wedding. Initially, I was impressed. The nail technicians all wore matching colors, the place looked beautifully clean, and they seemed organized enough to be able to handle all of us in a timely manner "very professional!" I thought. Totally incorrect. All of our GEL manicures lasted mayyybee 48 hours. The gel was all over my skin. Totally UNACCEPTABLE. The bride's father paid $75 per person for a gel manicure and regular pedicure, and NONE of them lasted even 48 hours? Are you kidding? Also, two of the girls brought a picture of what they wanted. When the nail tech didn't even come close (it wasn't hard), they questioned it (duh), and promptly got attitude from her, and left with an ugly manicure (that ALSO didn't last). Never going back, extremely disappointed. Even the paraffin wax dip and great massage doesn't make up for the expense and poor quality. read more

Pros- they set themselves apart by doing a paraffin wax treatment and they always wear cute matching outfits. The inside is nicer than other strip mall nail salons, but when it comes down to it... They are just a strip mall nail salon. Cons- they don't accept tips on credit cards. Don't buy gift certificates for anyone unless you know FOR SURE that they will use it in a year. They might give you 13-14 months. But 16 months is too long. So they just pocket money for services that are never rendered. read more

First time coming to this salon for a gel manicure and a spa pedicure. I came because it was close to work & reviews didn't look too bad. My pedicure wasn't too bad, however my gel manicure came out horribly. The polish was painted over top my skin / cuticles and within a day it was starting to peel off. When I discussed this with them, they fixed only a few and blatantly told me it's my fault because my skins "too dry." The whole time I felt uncomfortable and would of rathered it all taken off and my money back. However that didn't seem like an option they were giving me. The lady that did my pedicure was different then the lady who did my gel mani. When she saw my nails, you could see that she agreed with how bad they looked and she apologized. However, the lady that did the gel mani is who I was stuck with again and she only Re did a few, while making me feel as if it was my fault. A week into having them done & some redone, they continued to peel and all around look sloppy and poorly done. Very disappointed, paid 60$ all together and then a tip. I would not go back or even suggest this place to any of my colleagues, family and friends. read more

Ours included a paraffin dip, which might actually be standard b/c everyone in the salon that got a pedicure got the same treatment. I don't even want to go back there to have them fix it because I was so upset with the service and the horrible job they did. I was impressed with Unique Nails the first time I went. I thought the place was very clean and relaxing. I was impressed with the length of time they massaged my feet/legs during my pedicure, and surprised that the paraffin wax dip was included in every pedicure. The massage chairs for the pedicures are so comfortable and relaxing. Unfortunately my last couple experiences have been very disappointing. When I had my last manicure, my nails were cut/filed very crooked/uneven and the gel manicure peeled after just 2 days... I had my eyebrows waxed today, and had to come home and pluck them because they missed so much, and had to scrub all the wax off of my face that they left on it. I also had a pedicure today, in which she made my one toe bleed with trying to pull a piece of skin off, and left my toe nails long/crooked (despite me asking for them to be cut short).. I had to come home and clip my toe nails (after just getting a fresh pedicure).. When I paid with my visa debit card, she asked if I had cash for the tip. I said no, I'd like to put my tip on the card (which at this point I didn't even want to tip her, for the poor services provided).. She gave me a "dirty" look and said I could put it on the card.. From the poor job with waxing my eyebrows.. to not being able to file/clip nails appropriately, to the poor quality of their gel polish, and then the inappropriateness when trying to tip-- I can tell you I will never go back. read more

The atmosphere is so nice! Feels like a spa without the spa price. I was looking for a new place to go to get my regular pedi and acrylic fills and no other place even compares! What you get is amazing. The women all take their time and do an amazing job. I came my first time for a pedicure and was surprised the paraffin wax dip came with the regular pedicure! It was so relaxing and soothing. My pedicure is still going strong after a week and going to the beach! I went back today for a fill because I went somewhere else and after only a few days my acrylics were a mess and Ty fixed them perfectly! I have no doubt they will last and wouldn't really think of going anywhere else. The receptionist is amazing as she will remember your name and who you are after only seeing your face once! She is very personable and is always checking in to make sure you're doing ok, as do all the women! The only issue you might encounter is the wait time. I had been going to this place, and not going to lie they give a nice manicure. But yesterday my pedicurist asked me if I was pregnant and pointed at my belly. Which obviously I'm not. I recently moved to the area and had previously gone to one other nail salon that was the absolute worst! I was searching and searching for a reputable nail salon that exceeded my expectations. I came across Unique Nails on Yelp the other day and I said I'm going to give this place a try and prayed it wasn't as bad as my previous experience. Oh. My. God! AMAZING! First off I was greeted when I came in the door, (rarity) and I was late for my appointment because I got lost but they still took me on time! The place is adorable and very clean! It was mobbed and now I know why! I asked for the basic pedicure because I was very busy that day and it was more than just your basic pedicure. But they did have 5 pedicures to choose from, all under $60! Lisa did my nails and she was so sweet and took her time and did a fantastic job! All the tools, pumice stones, nail files, etc. were all sanitized and for one time use (I have never seen a nail salon NOT reuse a pumice stone). The basic pedicure was more like a salon pedicure. It was exactly one hour of pure bliss! She also did my eyebrows and spend 20 minutes perfecting them and my eyebrows have never looked better. I frequent this place about every other week for a manicure and about once a month for a pedicure. The prices are very reasonable and I always leave satisfied. It is very clean and I never had to wait too long for service, even on a weekend. Some of the ladies are better than others- that's why I am only giving 4 stars.
