My car is older (1996) and they took good care of the car and had great service. The labor cost to replace the part was $420 and the part cost was separate (since I brought in my own compressor). No warranty on the part, since I brought it in myself, which is totally understandable. I'll definitely bring my car here again in the future if I need anything done. Remember to always ask if bringing in your own parts is okay, because not all shops will allow it and not all shops will warranty the part/labor either. You must respect what the shop says/does.

This convinced me to try them out and I am so happy I did! They absolutely deserve their streak (now 77) of 5-star reviews. I had been looking to fix the TPMS on my 2012 Toyota Rav4 for over a year and had been turned off by the estimates I received from the Toyota dealership and Pepboys, my two go-to options for the maintenance and repair needs for my two old cars (I also have a 2008 Toyota Yaris). I felt the price quoted to me was not worth the value of having working TPMS sensors, so I was just resigned to having the TPMS lights turned on for as long as I had the vehicle (which I intend to keep for life). For some reason, I thought I'd give it one last try and I found GTS on Yelp. They were very responsive when I first asked for an estimate and it was much, much lower than what Toyota and Pepboys quoted. So I went ahead with the service, and when they found out that one of the sensors was still working, they told me it didn't need to be replaced and thus brought down the cost even more. They worked on it very quickly so I was able to just wait in their very comfortable and air-conditioned lounge until they were done. I was extremely happy with my overall experience! I believe they also do other auto repair and maintenance work so I will try those out in the future. If the service they provide on those is the same level as what I got on my TPMS repair, then they will have my business on my two old cars for life!

I recently brought in another punctured tire from the same year as the one they previously repaired. The associate told me they couldn't fix it because it was too old. He didn't even check it/measure my threads properly just eyeballed it. When I pointed out that a tire from the same year had been repaired there only weeks earlier, he immediately responded, "Oh, so you don't want to buy a new tire?" The response made me feel like he was being misleading and simply trying to push me toward buying a tire I didn't need. Unfortunately for him, I'm in sales and can smell a bad salesperson a mile away. I probably won't give them another shot and just take my business elsewhere. Beware.

They showed me the cause of the flat, told me they could probably repair it, but worst case scenario they could get a new tire for me today. After a few months I noticed the tire pressure light would come on they'd loose air and I'd have to put air in them seemingly every 3 months. I was told by the employee who sold them to me that it's probably due to changes in the weather. Whatever. I've never bought brand new tires before so I figured this might be true. Every so often I'd hit a nail on the road and need a fix. The last time I hit nail I brought my car and mentioned to the employee I knew where the nail was and circled it with chalk, on the front left side. Also asked if they could please check the other tires because sometimes I find more than one nail. They told me they checked them all and found only the one, and off I went. While driving around at night I noticed the tire pressure light came on again. I wasn't too surprised, I didn't really believe the employees checked the tires thoroughly. I was leaving Albertsons at around 10pm and when I got to my car, the front left tire that was supposedly fixed was flat. It was extremely dark in the parking lot and I tried changing the tire with the scissor jack and spare in my trunk. I removed the the flat tire that was "fixed" that morning and sure enough, found a second nail. While I was trying to fix my new flat tire that Allen Tires supposedly checked in the morning, my car slipped off the scissor jack and slammed onto the pavement. I drove home hearing and feeling this horrible grinding sound from my car. The next morning I went back to Allen Tires in Downey and told them what happened. I believe the employee who failed to check my tires properly was named Nathaniel. As I heard another employee say 'Nathaniel didn't check again' after I told the person at the front desk what happened. It's been a couple of months and my car noticeably pulls to the left now. All from that accident caused by employee negligence. So let this story be a WARNING. DO NOT TRUST THE EMPLOYEES TO ACTUALLY CHECK YOUR TIRES. You need to do the inspecting on your own or you'll end up with an extremely expensive problem like I now have.

I hate to do this…read more Been coming here since I was a kid. Recently, I came in to get two used tires. Can't afford new ones so this was a good short term solution. When I got home, I noticed one of the used tire had a huge plug. Went back and they replaced it. The next morning, the second used tire was already flat. Had to go back again and they had to patch it up. I get it, they are used, but why sell bad used tires? After 20 years, I am seriously disappointed. I don't think I could trust this place anymore.
