My first time coming to this place in Navarre. I usually go to Luxury nails in Gulf Breeze. Huge mistake. I asked for tips and pearl white simple gel nails. They were super bumpy, she missed most of the sides of my nails(which I asked her to fix, she couldn't. She tried but the layers were there and she couldn't or didn't know how to fill in the gaps). She did stark white when her showed her a pic of an opulent creamy white. None of my nails were even on top, on the sides(very wavy and chunks missing). I had to leave right away as I had somewhere to be but I called back around 30 minutes later and told her about how they looked. Said I wanted them off and a refund please. I was very nice as I was uncomfortable in the situation. I said I'm sure it's just an off day. She said ok come in. She was doing someone else's nails next to me, while I was soaking and kept making little remarks about how she's never had this happen to her and how long she's been doing it. I stayed quiet. Then when she was taking off the nails that look horrible(I have pics) she didn't take all of the nails off and I asked if she's taking it all off. She started telling me off out of nowhere yelling I don't pay so why should she take them off. I sad because they did not look good and she just kept getting louder pretty much saying I don't deserve it!. Then the other workers in English and Vietnamese starting yelling at me. I showed them pictures and they said who did that because it was terrible. I said Candy or Kandi(not sure of the spelling) just now and they asked me to leave and where still yelling at me. I'm so shocked. I went in very politely. I seriously wasn't even mad at all. Mistakes happen but I have a lovely wedding to go to tomorrow and I couldn't go like that. I will say she did offer to fix them but they were so terrible that I was to afraid for her to do the same thing again. I reiterated I'm sure it was just one bad set but she just kept defending herself while they they all kept yelling at me and told me to leave. I was so very uncomfortable. Do not go if you do not want a terrifying experience from service to treatment. read more

You really can't mess a pedicure up as far as I'm concerned and I've been going to this place just to get pedicures because it's close to home mostly, but recently my experience was definitely not a good one. The man proceeded to peel off my gel polish instead of dremmeling it, or soaking it, my cuticles ended up rigid and the polish did not look cleanly put on. Shortly after I left (because he likely removed part of the top layer of my toenail when he peeled the gel off) I ended up with a V-shaped rip in the top of my big toenail, and then the corner eventually completely ripped off. I'm probably not ever going back here unless I have no other options. read more

I figured I give this place a try (Solar Nails). At first the wife was going to do my nails but someone else came and and wanted a pedicure so, the husband took over to do my nails. So now, the end product is awful!!! It was so rushed. I could see gaps on my nails. How do I even get this fixed??? I still tipped but I will never come back. Not to mention, I am not the type to leave reviews but I need to in this case. Please be warned. I now understand how customers feel when they expect to feel pretty and pay big money then the service given just was not good at all. read more

Wow despite reading all of the reviews AFTER sitting in the chair I was really surprised at how much I liked this place. I had to bring my two year old daughter and she sat on my lap the whole time, Candy was my nail tech and she did a great (the best I've had yet) acrylic overlay on my big toe since my toenail was damaged last year from trauma. Great massage, new packaged nail tools and a plastic liner in the foot sink. The place was pretty clean and the staff was very nice and accommodating. It was overpriced for low quality, I do not recommend. they also messed up my eyebrows one was more arched and shorter than another??? This review is from my wife's experience since I'm a dude and don't get my legs waxed :) Not a very good place to go for pampering. Even a simple leg waxing was difficult (language barrier) and wasn't even done well. My wife had many hairs still on her legs and had to finish it herself when she got home. The interior is also "blah" and doesn't do a thing to give you the sensation that your in a "Luxury" place. read more

Quite possibly the worst pedicure I have ever seen and I definitely don't recommend this nail salon. If I could give this nail salon 0/5 stars I would. I went with my mom and sister for the first time this afternoon, and we all received pedicures. We called ahead to make sure we were seated at the same time, but it took almost 20 minutes for any of us to get started. The woman who worked on my mother's nails was clearly incompetent. The entire time one of the other employees had to walk her through the process as it was very obvious she had not been properly trained. Once our nails were finished we were rushed out and it was obvious they wanted us to leave. After we got home we noticed that my mom's nails weren't completely painted, everything was smudged, and there was a significant amount of nail polish on her skin. Needless to say this was the worst pedicure we have ever seen. She could have done a better job herself and not have paid the $28. This place is completely over priced for the quality of work you receive. We will NEVER return to this nail salon. read more

Really terrible experience here. We walked into the salon and the male employee who did the pedicure was sloppy and uninterested in anything other than getting through the job. During the pedicure the guy got up five times, was on his phone, turned around to watch tv and turn up the volume while doing the pedicure - the tv was behind him so he turned his entire body to focus on the tv instead of working on the pedicure. The guy literally dipped my feet in water and did not trim cuticles, calluses, and when he went to put paint on my toes he slipped on my flip flops and began working while the other ladies used their flip flops and spacers for other clients. I've never been to a place where they make you put on your own flip flops and because no spacers were used the paint was slipped everywhere on my toes. This guy also got the hot towel, wiped down my leg, and then threw it on top of my feet to walk away and go on his phone. My feet look worse coming into this store than going out. If you're in a hurry and want some paint that looks good from a football field away on your toes I'd recommend coming here, otherwise just stay at home and do it yourself. Seriously expensive and not worth it. Those giving five stars were probably paid to do so. read more
