I found Luxury Nails due to the strong recommendations on Yelp. I have been going to another nail salon in Gaithersburg and have not really been satisfied with the pedicure service vs the prices I have been paying. Fortunately, I tried Ahn this weekend and I'm so please if did. She gave me an excellent pedicure and really worked to help relieve the calluses and nail issues I have been living with for many months now. She is kind and customer oriented ,as well as skilled, patient, and, dedicated to doing an excellent job. I also had a gel manicure and I think the quality of the gel polish is better than most of the salons I have used over the years, In addition, she used an ultraviolet drying lamp that only covers your nail tips and there by sparing your skin from unnecessary exposure to the ultraviolet light. I highly recommend this salon, and, especially the owner Ahn! I'm going to become a regular customer for sure! read more

. I have just recently had my nails and hair done at Luxury Hair and Nails. Yen, the hairstylist gave me a great high light and a wonderful haircut. She knew exactly what I wanted to do for my hair style. I have gotten a lot of complements about my hair. Mimi did my manicure and pedicure after the haircut. They look great.... I will go back to the shop again and again. It's just not about the location (close to where I work), but also about the skilled and friendly staff. I came here with my nieces, one 5 and another 9, and also with my sister in law. The prices were comparable ($34 for mani-pedi for the adults and $10 "for fun" nail painting for the girls). Overall, I was not impressed with the service since they glossed over the standard procedure and did not work in detail with any finger. I havent had a manucure/pedicure in years and I know my hands/feet needed a lot of work. The scrubbing was poor, I would say 5-10 second of scrubbing per feet. Also, they dont go into detail with the cuticle cutting. My nieces had a good experience as the employees were nice and kid friendly. Finally, if using google maps or a navigation system, it may be misleading. This nail salon is by dounkin donuts and comfort in by the bridge. read more

Usually I have a great experience at this nail salon.. however, I came in today and my lady wasn't here so the nail tech told me there was NOBODY there that could do my nails. She said nobody there (3 nail techs) could do gel nails... as she tells me this there is a lady doing someone's acrylic nails. So she flat out lied. When I pointed it out she told she was busy until they closed, while the shop was empty. In reality she just didn't want to. She originally told me she couldn't do them as good as my lady but could do them. When I asked her to do them she then said she didn't know how to do them. I am very upset and will not be coming back. I thought I found a new home here. Anh is phenomenal but her staffs unwillingness to help me in her absence I will not forget. read more

I have been going to Luxury Nails for many years, right next to my work. I used to go to Kelly and Cindy who are not there any longer, who were amazing. I now go to MiMi who is also very good. Made an appointment less then an hour of them doing my nails they where efficient when it came to that and they accommodated me really well . Anne worked on me and she was really good cleaned my toes and finger nails pretty well and I love the shape she left my acrylic nails over all it was pretty good the price was like any other salon would charge I don't like how I couldn't leave a tip with my card it had to be in cash and there's a yelp 10 percent off coupon for a new customer this was my first time there with an appointment and she didn't accept it she said I had to use it next time and tell them I'm going to use it when I call back to make my next appointment which I didn't get but oh well I might be back I might not wasn't wowed or anything but if your in the area it ain't to bad you just need a lot of time on your hands I did a fill and a pedicure and I was there for 2 plus hours .. your call read more

After 53 years of biting my nails, one day I just stopped. What keeps me from starting again is Ivy at Luxury Nails. She has been fantastic and keeps my nails properly manicured and polished (I use gel). I'm so happy I found this place. Ahn and her entire staff is very professional and pleasant. In other places I tried first, I felt like the staff was talking behind everyone's back in their own language. I never feel like that at this Salon. The $25 pedicure I got looks grrrrrrrreat. Mai worked on my toes. She was very chatty. I don't like to chat when I want to relax. However, I started checking emails on my phone and she stopped talking to me. I like the price and the pedi looks nice. Good job. Mai! However... I don't remember seeing the tools being disinfected. The tools were kept in a wire basket... I'm praying I didn't pick up fungus or other bacteria. I read their review from Washingtonian magazine this month. read more

i love this place...only nail salon i will go to in montgomery county. all other nail places have done a horrible job on my nails. everyone at luxury nails knows what they are doing and are very friendly. i go there 1x every 2 weeks to get them done. they do a great job and dont cut me while filling my nails. i hughly recommend this place to anyone that wants great service and an outstanding job. i went there for my sisters wedding and my wedding. they are great at pedicures, manicures and tips. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I came here with my sister to get a fill and pedi. They told us to choose our colors. I asked them if they had colors that matched gel colors. They told me yes but they weren't grouped so I would just have to choose and they could let me know. I gave the First Lady my color she came over and looked on the shelf as I kept looking, about 5 min later she had returned to her seat and continued doing someone's nails. So when a different lady began my feet and I gave her my color & she tells me they don't have the color I chose. I could not understand why this info wasn't communicated to me before I sat down and put my feet in the water. So she tries to bring me a bunch of colors that I didn't like. I finally got out of the water and went to go look for a color myself. They could not tell me exactly which colors came with a matching gel polish they just kept telling me to pick a color and they would tell me. So after I finally choosing a color I return to my seat and the girl who was about to do my feet had started working on a male client who had walked in while I was choosing my color. She tells me that she has a client and someone else will do my nails. I was really bothered by this because it seemed that she had told the woman that was doing my sisters pedi to do mine when she was done but I did not want that because my sister did not want to sit in the nail salon and wait we came in together we wanted to leave together. She called the manager over and the manager told me that someone would be doing my nails in the next five minutes. I got really upset when I saw a different lady come in and get seated right away and they were about to start her pedicure after that I just booked my Uber pulled my feet out of the water and I left the manager tried to come over and explain herself. She said we are ready now, but I was over it. She kept telling me that they did not have all colors to match the gel colors but that doesn't excuse you for beginning to help me and then just returning to your client without sending anyone else to help me.
