I went to luxury nails on May 6th I had Anna do may nails, they were shaped nicely as i asked and she polished them nicely as well, However!!! she cut 3 of my cuticles till they bleed with her nail drill thing and it burned a lot. And she also did not put on a top coat so my nails will peel off. She only cured them under the light 1 time so they are a little sticky. I was hoping that would be a good place to go, but i think they cut too many corners to save money. read more

Less than 2 weeks after having a full set put on, I have one nail left. Two nails popped off after a couple of days and the rest followed day by day. I have had acrylic for years and I know how to take care of them. The salon is 2.5 hours away so going back is not convenient. The salon was clean and the nail tech was pleasant. I went there to get gel manicure and pedicure. It has not even been 4 days and the gel has peeled off in one piece on most of my nails. I've been here twice and both times have been extremely disappointed. I get a full set of acrylics and every time she argues with me about something as though I don't know what I'm talking about. Both times I've spent over $65 on a full set and have had them break or fall off within a day or two. I got mine done a week ago and have already lost 3 without even realizing it. When I went in to get one fixed she told me it was my fault that it broke and that It wasn't because of how she did it and she wanted me to pay for her to fix it. A brand new set should not pop off when taking a load of laundry out of the dryer. They are not done well and break way too easy and are not shaped well enough to be $65. read more

I got my nails done 3 days prior to New Years and by New Years Eve my nail was chipped and broke. since then I have had 2 more break. I paid over $50 to get my nails done for New years and it didn't last till then. I asked for dip powder and the lady said it was too messy and prefered to use gel and it was just as good, which it obviously isn't. When I called to let them know what happened they said they'd fix it for $5 per nail because they don't have to fix it since their policy says so. Save your money and go somewhere else! I booked an online appointment for a set of dip powder nails. Upon arrival I was told that they could just file down my existing powder nails and put more powder over them as long as I picked a dark color. This was very strange to me because I have had dip powder at other places and they always remove my old dip powder and start on a fresh nail. I allowed them to do this thinking they have done it before and it would turn out fine. They also had me fill out a form with my name, number, email and address and had me sign at the bottom. I thought this was more information than they needed but I could not get my nails done without filling out and signing the form. She started buffing down my nails and I noticed she was struggling to get the nail flat. She kept switching buffing heads and asking another woman for help. She kept constantly pushing too hard and burning my nails with the buffer which was extremely painful. She was very apologetic and I could tell she was inexperienced and frustrated which isn't her fault considering she probably did not have proper training. This whole buffing process probably took 20 mins and I hadn't even started to get new dip powder yet. She started on my dip powder and I immediately noticed that she was putting it on way too thick and it was very uneven. She tried to buff it out but took off the powder completely in the process. She kept retrying and after completing one hand very unevenly I told her to just remove it completely since she was struggling and try for a regular manicure. She began taking off my dip powder but was struggling to do that as well. She dipped my entire hand in a bowl of pure acetone. My hands were in there for so long that my hands dried out and felt freezing cold. I took my hand out and told her I couldn't hold it in there any longer. She tried buffing the powder off with no luck. She eventually quit and asked someone else for help. The new woman was struggling to remove it as well. At this point I have been here for over an hour. I had somewhere to be so I told them I had to leave. I still had tons of dip powder cemented to my nails. They did not make me pay but they told me to come back tomorrow for a regular manicure and I told them I would check my schedule. I had to go home and literally peel off the dip powder with a nail clipper which damaged my nails very badly and made them brittle. My hands also had dip powder dust stuck to them from buffer. My hands were also severely dried out from the acetone. It took me over an hour to get the dip powder off my nails at home. I will not be returning to this salon. The staff lacks the necessary skills and tools needed for some of their services. They seem very friendly but the service was just awful. I do not recommend this place even for a simple manicure or pedicure. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I went there to get acrylics shaped as coffin that was my 2nd mistake the first was going there in the first place. I asked the lady to make my nails shorter and she refused to. she said shed just file them down... she didn't. she cut my friend bc she was filing all the glue off her skin. after that the nails looked like I did them myself if I wanted that look I would've stayed at home. also online it said the full set would be $28 they charged me $45... they lasted for about two days and then started falling off. I don't do anything due to covid, this was one of my first outings. these nail felt like the "do it at home nails" from Walmart. I will not be going back. I gave them one star because they were very nice... just not good at nails. read more

Won't be back. I just needed my gel polish taken off and was charged $15! Couldn't believe it when I checked out. I'm not from here but back home they charge $10 and I live closer to Rochester than this salon and had called the top two nail places in Rochester and one was $8 and one was $10 but I had to be in Winona that day I went and thought it would be around the same price or less. I wish I would have called before I went because I wouldn't have gone. Then the guy that takes the payment was bragging to my nail tech that the last two people left her huge tips like $10 and one left $15 or $20.....it was almost as if he was wanting me to do the same and that's why he was talking about it out loud. Seemed like a gimmick he runs and when I left a 15% tip after being charged a whopping $15 for a 10 min service he looked unhappy. A nail lady named Chat was doing my nails and she was about to cut my cubicles and I said please don't use that tool and I said well it will be prettier using the tool with gel. But I said that I don't want that tool but she used it anyways. She cut my finger using the cubicle tool and it started to bleed a lot. The lady didn't really care and the manager could care less about what happened. There was no money taken off the bill. The other people where good, just don't get the lady chat. We also know multiple other people who have been cut by that lady. read more

The nail technician was excellent, very friendly and courteous. It was annoying that the manager or owner came back at least 3 times and asked when she would be done. I felt bad for her and it wasn't professional to feel like we had to rush. She was working and I had an appt. allotted for my time.
