Decided to try this place out due to my college apartment laundry room being extremely sketchy. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND, I'd genuinely say this is a super clean and comfortable spot. It felt so relaxing to be able to sit down and do homework while waiting for my laundry. While it is more expensive, it is totally worth it because of the environment and having your clothes dry fully. All in all, It definitely gives me motivation to do my laundry and I will be coming back :)) read more

For laundromats I feel that if they have all the essentials there's no reason to give less that 5 stars. This laundromat has a tiny kids corner, there are many machines (4 different size for washers: $2, $3, $4, and $6.50). They have a coin changer so bring your dollar bills if you don't have quarters! There are 4 tvs, a coffee shop (located in the laundromat) and they have detergent, bleach, softened, and laundry bags for purchase via vending machine. They also offer free wifi! There is a single stall bathroom shared for both men and women (ask the coffee shop for the key). This place is very clean and there are lots of places to sit! Glad we were able to find this place in the middle of our travels! read more

Only came here because our dryer is on the fritz and it's close to where I had a Dr. appointment, so we were able to, "kill two birds with one stone"! All the machines seemed to be working fine and there were several people using the internet. To me, the most important thing was that both of our Cafe Mocha's were great and the staff was friendly. Disappointing, one of the worst laundry mats we have been too in the US. Half the machines don't work and the broken labels are confusing at first so you end up putting your laundry in the wrong machine, then have to take it out and move it. No wifi as it's password protected and no one was here to offer is the code. Says they have a coffee shop, but it was closed at 3pm on a weekday. No tanning services as advertised. All the rooms closed and locked. I'm giving two stars instead of one since the bathroom was decent and unlocked. The temperature inside was comfortable and they weren't overly expensive. Wash $2.75 and $4.00 machines Dry $1.00 to $1.50, a quarter per 5 mins However, more than half of their dryers weren't working, so thank goodness it wasn't busy when we came because they have double the amount of washers. A very nice laundromat! I came here to wash my comforters and pillows since my machine at home cannot handle the load. I was pleasantly surprised with the laundromat. They have machines of many different sizes. I was able to wash multiple comforters and pillows in one load in one of their bigger machines . They have a coffee shop that serves great coffees, lattes, smoothies and even ice cream. They have tables and chairs set up to enjoy coffee while you wait. What I was impressed by were the individuals cubicles that were tastefully decorated and well lit with outlets. This place makes waiting for laundry less burdensome. With the free WiFi and coffee shop vibes, I will definitely be coming again. read more

I must agree with Jessica H.'s review (although I stayed away from the muffins). The machines are clean and they have a fair amount of 'em. Triple loader's too: $3.75. I have the same complaint with the dryers $.25 cents for 5 min is a little high. My suggestion is to find an empty dryer that is above a running lower one and use that. My clothes that were put in the top dryers finished in about 2/3 the time. I've also come here just for the internet and coffee. For this, I'd suggest going about 8 block's east to AJ's. The TV's here never seem to be on and I haven't heard any background music. So all you get is the tumble-tumble sound of the machines. It's a little like having your coffee in a depravation tank- but if you're into that.... read more

Very very inconvenient. The credit/debit card readers were out of order, which really isn't a super big deal. BUT, then the atm was out of order so I couldn't even get cash with my debit card. THEN, the workers at the cafe couldn't even give you a small cash back just so you could do your last load. They offered for me to go to walgreens and get cash, which i already have 5 loads in the washer and I refuse to leave my clothes there. This was very disappointing and I hope all of these issues can be resolved quickly so others don't have to go through all of this hassle. read more

The owner of this establishment must either have ADD or was just really intelligent. Filling many needs, Sip N Surf is a laundromat, tanning salon, coffee bar, dry cleaning drop off, and you get free internet. I'll attack each one individually (except tanning - I haven't gone tanning) Laundromat: Lots of washers and dryers, including a lot of double load washers. I feel that the prices are competitive ($1.75 for a single load, $2.75 for a double load) and I've never had a washer destroy my clothes. They have change machines for the gold, I mean, quarters. The dryers need close to $2 to dry properly as I don't think they are insulated well enough behind them (when you open a door for the first time the air inside of it is REALLY cold - this may improve during the 3 weeks of summer) Dry cleaning: I've used them a couple of times and my sweaters haven't been destroyed yet Coffee bar: The coffee isn't bad but I could pass on their muffins - they just don't have a lot of taste. They have a traditional cappuccino machine with usually a cute college girl working, many different syrups, and tea. The ease of going in for 2 hours and getting 6 loads of wash done while being able to check my email is nice, though spending $20 to do that is a little frustrating. read more

Guess I shouldn't be surprised that the machines have card readers. No more need for quarters. Genius! With WiFi, and desk top machines available, tables, seating, and a children's play area, this laundromat is equipped to keep you comfortable and entertained while getting the wash done. The machines were efficient and the entire establishment very clean. Loved it. read more

Coffee is HORRRRRIBLE...but the location is convenient for laundry although you will see lots of newer-looking machines that are out of order. Prices are kind of high but again...convenient location. Also, the machines that takes credit cards charge you an initial $14 dollars that will be placed back into your account when it is confirmed that there is enough money there to cover the charge. So if you see a weird charge on your account for $14...there ya go. For poor college students this might suck...especially if you don't have even $14 available. I'm not a poor college student (anymore) but I understand so that's why I'm forewarning. read more

I used the wash/dry/fold service on 8/4/14. At $.99 lb, it is the lowest rate within 15 miles (maybe more), so great value there! I dropped off my clothes around 5pm, and the attendant (a very pleasant college girl) said she could have them done by 9pm! I was expecting at least 24 hours! I let them know to take their time and I wouldn't be back till the next morning. I picked up my clothes, and everything was very neatly folded and bagged up. The attendant (a different college girl) helped me carry my things out to my car! I was very impressed with the service as a whole. The only thing I would change is adding a name or number to the drop off ticket to help identify your finished clothes, we had to search for a bit to find mine. Otherwise, A+. 10/10, will definitely use again. read more

As far as laundromats go, this one is fairly clean, good coffee and lots of machines. A number of positives, however, there always seems to be machines--dryers, washing machines, ATM, card readers--out of order which is really frustrating, there is ALWAYS something not working. I've been coming here for years, but am considering finding another facility due to the hassle of stuff not working properly. Also, I agree, the dryers are on the expensive side. read more
