I really hate to give such a low review. My friend goes here regularly for her gel manicures and has not had a problem. I came to try out a new salon. They took off my gel with a drill (vs the place i go to soaks each finger tip). Afterwords, the manicure was placed on semi-dusty fingers (no washing my hands after). Literally that night the gel cracked on my thumb. I put a clear polish over it to prevent it from cracking. I have never had a gel crack like that before. I am writing this review two weeks later from my appointment. The gel has stayed on all my nails so that's a positive. read more

My coworker recommended this place to me when I saw the reviews I double checked with her and she confirmed that this is the place and that she goes to Cindy. I always take reviews with a grain of salt anyway since I also work in the customer service industry and know how people can be. So I called to make an appointment with Cindy two days before my wedding. On the day of my appointment I walked in and said that I had an appointment, they asked me my name and then a girl who I thought was Cindy motioned for me to go to her station. I sit down and show her pictures of what I wanted. She acted like she understood and had someone get the nail polish. After that she did not talk to me anymore and started working. When she put on the tips and cut them to the length I requested they were a little crooked, but I thought it's OK because she will file them when she gets to the acrylic. When she began to shape the tips she cut my cuticle with the file and it began to bleed a little. She didn't acknowledge that and continued working. After she put on the acrylic none of it was level and the nails were still crooked (there was also acrylic all under the tips of my nails). I still thought that's OK she will fix that when she filed them down more. But then when she started filing my nails with the machine she didn't level them and they were still crooked as she moved from nail to nail. At that point I spoke up and tried to show her that the nails were not level and she nodded and then took out the file again and proceeded to go over the cut that she had already put on the side of my nail. So I try to explain to her again what the issue was and she called someone else over. At this point I'm starting to get very anxious and upset because not only are none of my nails even or level but I'm also bleeding from my finger. Come to find out that she wasn't even the person I SPECIFICALLY requested. At this point I was so stressed out that I just requested them take the nails off and I will leave and go somewhere else. So they bring out a bowl of what I assume was watered down acetone for me to put my hands in after she cut off the tips. Someone named Nicole put liquid Band-Aid on the cut on my finger because I asked if that was going to burn when I put my hand in there since I now had an open wound on my finger. My "nail tech" Amy, put on 1 dirty single use glove(it had old pink nail polish smeared on it) and took out her nail drill again. She then had me take one of my hands out of the bowl at a time while she filed off the acrylic on the other. I had to dip each hand into the bowl about four times and had acrylic all over my hands. Then who I assume was the owner asked me if I still wanted to get my nails done with Cindy as I'm literally holding back tears and trying to keep my hands from shaking since I'm having an anxiety attack. I am not high maintenance. I get my nails done maybe once every other year just to treat myself a little bit because I have a very hands-on job. I am very easy-going and rarely ever complain but this place is awful and should be shut down. read more

My nails are always too bulky or not shaped correctly. And then when you tell them to correct it Politely they catch a attitude like YOUR NOT THE ONE PAYING! She explained to me that the other salon made my acrylic look old and that they had used glue and powder..which would ruin my nail beds. My original nail place called me last minute to cancel my appointment, and thankfully Luxury Nails was able to fit me in the same day which was awesome. However, I will not be going back. I asked for a spa pedicure which usually includes a longer massage, but my feet were not massaged at all & my heels are still extremely dry. The girl who did my pedicure was so sweet, but the service was not great. All she did was use a scented exfoliant on my legs. So confused as to how that is a spa pedicure. $35 not well spent. My nail tech was great, but charged me $50 for a basic gel fill with no design. For the service received, i feel that was way too expensive. I've heard many great things about this salon, but unfortunately i did not have the best experience. I hate to be negative, and As a professional in the beauty industry myself, I feel it's necessary to share my experience. I came in for a pedicure and I will never return. The attitude of the employees was negative at best, they seemed annoyed at every customer that walked in. This was, by far, the most rushed and laziest pedicure I have ever received. The girl spent maybe 1 minute per foot scrubbing with the pumice - my feet feel just as rough as they did when I walked in. She didn't spray my nails with acetone or alcohol before painting them, she literally oiled up my feet and began painting. This will not last two days without chipping. The paint job itself was hurried and horrible. She did not use any kind of separator for my toes. She flooded my cuticles and there is paint on my skin. My 6-year old daughter could have done a better job. I am very disappointed. read more

I will never return. I called to ask if I can come in and be taken right away for a gel manicure and a pedicure. I was told yes. I arrived within minutes and had to wait almost 20 minutes before they began. Not the worst thing. They did take me with a very short notice. The man who did my pedicure and gel manicure clearly did NOT want to be there. He looked miserable, had a lackluster personality and should not have a job in the beauty industry, point blank. I have never had a lamer pedicure. He threw some scrub on my legs and then literally just rinsed it off without even scrubbing my legs. No massage AT ALL! The name 'luxury' is very contradictory to how I felt while visiting this nail salon. I will GLADLY pay the extra $27 for the upscale nail salon a mile up on Rt9 S. They charged me $12 just to polish my little girl's hands and feet, which I feel is a major rip off. And to top it all off, I left with completely clashing colors on my hands and feet...hot pink and orange, after I was told it would match exactly. So I will need to spend another $15 somewhere between cost and tip to change my polish again as soon as I have a moment this week. It's awful to spend $75 and leave feeling this way. Do yourself a favor. Find another nail salon. read more

I never leave reviews for anything, but i had to for this place. I got a pedicure yesterday there for the first time and it was filthy. There was brown buildup around the knobs to turn the water on and off in the tub to soak your feet. I thought it was just my station, but I also saw it on both stations to my left and right. When the nail tech finished my pedicure, she rinsed the tub with just water, no disinfectant, nothing! she then scrubbed the pumice stone with a dirty brush and water (the brush was starting to look black). The nail tech cut my skin on two different toes with the power file, no bleeding, but today both toes are sore, red and inflamed. hopefully it's just from the trauma of the cut and not an infection starting to brew! nails are unevenly filed on feet and hands. please pay a little more and go to a clean, safe place! read more

I agree with Natasha. Not a very friendly crew at all. The girl who works the register pretends the credit card machine is down and asks you for cash. When you say you don't have it she tells you there is an ATM on premise. I told her that I won't use it because both my bank and their bank will charge me. I told her I would have to come back. Miraculously, the machine worked. The quality of nails is mostly good. I have been displeased here and there but overall it's good. Prices are competitive. It's a good salon. It's dated so if your looking for beauty, this is not the salon for you. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I have been 3 times to get acrylic fills and gel color. The first time I had no issues. The second time i went I told the guy I wanted to just make my nails a little shorter and keep the almond shape that I already had. but instead he took the machine and chopped off every nail into pointy nails, and I said why did you do that?! He told me that I never said to keep the almond shape. Even though I did. So then he had to file them down MUCH shorter than I wanted, just to get the almond shape back. The third time I went, which was tonight, I specifically said word for word to the lady "I want to keep the almond shape and the length, but I just want them filed down a little bit" because some are longer than others. She then takes the machine and started chopping off two of my nails into square shape!!! I was like OMG STOP and she goes "I thought you wanted to change the shape". And I said no I literally JUST said for you to keep the almond shape and just file them down a little bit. So then she had to put more of the powder stuff on to make those two nails the same length as the rest. And THEN the entire time that she was using the machine on my nails, she kept nicking my cuticles, and hit just about every finger so now I have cuts all over. AND THEN She paints the first coat of the blue color I thought I picked out. By the time she started the second coat I realized that SHE PUT THE WRONG BLUE COLOR. After that I was just like fuck it I just want to leave here because if she used that machine one more time to change the blue color then my fingers would all be messed up. Also, the second and third time that I went there the employees kept stopping to watch the television!! Are you kidding? The TV is for clients not for employees to watch while they chop off your nails without paying attention!! I still can't believe that I actually paid $32 for that crap. Came for the first time. I felt like my manicure & pedicure were rushed. I sat in the pedicure chair ar 4:55 pm and was at the register paying my bill at 5:33 I was charged 30.00 for a combined mani/pedi done in 38 minutes. I am not even sure how that was possible? It was so quick. She ran the foot sink but never let me soak one of my feet it went right on the towel & i was only allowed to put it in after while the other foot was getting filed. I asked if i can soak it for a second she said no. Lol. After i paid my bill, I voiced my opinion to the gentleman I am assuming is either the owner or manager & told him i felt very rushed, the place wasnt busy & asked him if he felt that 38 minutes was correct for both a manicure & pedicure & he told me yes that sounded fine & normal & reminded me it wasnt a "spa service " which is true but i also wasn't expecting an Express service either. So i am not sure what to make of this place. I guess i would not go back just for the fact that it was the quickest service I ever had & i feel like i can go somewhere else & pay the same amount & get a little more time spent without feeling like we were in the indy 500. read more

The actual nail service is okay, it was the customer service that was a problem. I visited the nail salon for a manicure and pedicure and none of the girls were particularly friendly. One woman was actually rude and had an attitude. I had to return the next day because my toenail was smudged ( could be because while I was getting my manicure no one offered a dryer for my toes). When I walked in, no one says hi and everyone seems annoyed. The girl who did my toes came over to fix it and the other woman that was rude the night before said " I told you to be careful". I called to speak with a manager and/or owner and was told no one was there and someone will get back to me. I guess we'll see. That in itself is not acceptable but then he took another customer who came in after me and proceeded to say that she also had an appointment and he would be happy to take me when he was finished or that someone else could take care of me. This is a totally unacceptable business practice. I felt like I was not as important as the other customer. I had an appointment which I made with him. He knew I was waiting. I really needed to get my nails done so I let one of the girls take care of me. It was such an uncomfortable situation. All of the girls and Johnny were taking to one another in their language. The owner is nasty!!!! I don't understand why the owner Johnny thinks he can treat his customers like crap. I've only been going there for 3 months with my daughter (every 2 weeks). The first time we were there he got very nasty when I requested that a woman do my daughters nails but I brushed it off. Since then I've watched him make nasty comments to other customers and become sarcastic when his regular customers question his wraps and complain that their nails are peeling. Today I merely asked "who" would be doing my nails because when I made my appointment for 12:00 I told him I would take anyone. Johnny went nuts! Telling me I had to wait and I was late and I said I would take anyone! It was embarrassing!!!! My daughter liked the way Rose did her nails and I was ok with the others but not anymore!!!
