Took 5 watches to get some batteries replaced and took 2 other watches to get new capacitors. They…read moreweren't able to do one of them because the watch was designed weird, but everything else went without a hitch! The watch guy was able to explain how to set the time on one of the watches, very honest when he said the watches I had taken for new capacitors were complicated. I spent about 20 minutes figuring out how to set the time on the most recent one I picked up. They're pretty fast too, for the battery replacements, the four I was able to get replaced in an hour for a cool $80. For the other two I was originally told 2 weeks since they needed to order the parts, got the first one back in a week and the second in 8 days. Those ran me a cool $200 total for both. The girls up front are nice and pretty funny. They were watching the World Cup and one of them sounded very passionate about soccer. She also recommended a nice watch brand which I'll probably be on the lookout for. I'll definitely come back for any maintenance I need for my watches.

Took my watch here for what I thought would be a simple battery replacement. Based on reviews, I…read morethought it would be a safe place to replace the batteries. Long story short, one of the buttons on my watch didn't work after the batteries were replaced. I was told "it's just the way it is" and this didn't find any missing parts for the pusher when they disassembled the watch. They keep it for another week to see what could be done. I was told the watch was ready for pick-up when I called to check and I thought they figured out the issue and fixed it. Turns out, nothing was done and my $2,600 watch no longer has a functioning chronograph button. To be fair, this watch is unique and if not careful, something can break during battery replacement. I took my watch to another shop with a watchmaker and was told that it looks like the housing that holds the movement and pusher in broke when the battery replacement was attempted. The only way to fix it would be to send back to the manufacturer to replace the movement. At least I know what happened and what needs to be done if I want to fix my watch. If you have a basic watch, I guess it's okay to take it here, just think twice about bringing anything that may be more complicated.
