THis place is absolutely awful and it's disgusting. They don't clean the tools in between uses. They don't do a quality job. They try to overcharge you take your business anywhere but here. read more

Wish I could give it a 0 star. . I tried to love this place and I'm sure there are wonderful nail techs.. however, I've been here twice and both times I've had the worst pedicures and service! Thanks for painting my toes and not my nails.. I wouldn't waste your time here and head to a different salon xx read more

Luxor Nail Bar - Perfect pedicure - Nail Salons Near Me - Ammon, Idaho

You have to pay extra to get your feet scrubbed during a pedicure, which is usually included at other places. I paid $50 (after tip) for a basic pedicure with normal nail polish and she didn't even do a top coat which is also usually included at other places. My nail polish started chipping off the next week. Will not be back. read more

Prices are way too high for the Idaho Falls market. What you are quoted and what the end price is is vastly different.

They are getting expensive for below average work. Got a fill today and with a tip almost $80.00 so over priced. Will not be going back.

I'm not one to leave reviews typically, but I've gone to this nail salon 3 times now and it has been an incredible experience each time! I've been so lucky to be seated with Vincent every time! He's always willing to do whatever nail art I want and executes it flawlessly every time! The staff is very kind as well. Just a couple of things to plan for: 1.) If you're getting a full set with nail art, expect the price to be in the $75-$85 range. (Which is a little pricey for some, but I digress) 2.) SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT BEFORE HAND. Otherwise expect a very very long wait. 3.) If you do schedule beforehand also plan on not being seen immediately. (It's not the nail techs fault, sometimes people drop more elaborate nail art designs on them and they do care about the quality of their work and satisfying their customer.) So sometimes it'll take 15-20 extra minutes for you to get in a chair. Busier days may be even longer. So PLAN AHEAD! (But in some case, like today I was seated immediately and then 1hr later, all done!) With that all being said, I do plan on making this my permanent go to nail salon during my tenure here in Idaho! read more

Super happy with my acrylic nails! Could probably say it's been the best work anyone has ever done with my nails! The gentleman that did them is incredible! Very Friendly, polite and super professional (Unfortunately I did not get his name) Would have given them 5 stars if it wasn't for who I believe is the owner, (a lady greeting customers as they walk in!) Rudest person I had to deal with! Pressuring me into getting gel polish, even tho I said no, several times! Also, charged me $7 extra just for shaping my nails, idk if it's common here to charge for that, but it's the fist time anyone charges me to shape my nails (oval!) ‍ Overall I had a good experience, would still Recommend this place! read more

Make an appointment either the day before or the morning of. They are very accommodating! They work quickly but they don't rush you. There were 6 of us who came for a morning appointment and we were in and out in about an hour and a half (we all had manicure and pedicures done) great place and great service! Horrible. They didn't do what we asked on my sisters nails. She told them 4 times what she wanted and they still didn't do it and even said it couldn't be done. She was upset so when they were done we just paid and left. Went back today and they refused to fix for free (we spent $300) because according to them she was fine with them when we left. Yea she was done and felt intimidated. When she show a pic today we got berated that we should've shown it yesterday, it's a simple design we didn't think it needed a reference. They argued that we didn't tell them and they won't fix it for free cuz we waited until the next day to go back. Kept saying she said it was fine. And that they took half an hour to do her nails and that she was done after the other two of us. That's because they didn't even start her services until the other two of us were almost done. Will not be going back. Don't even waste your time here. 0/10 horrible. I don't usually argue with people providing services such as these because these types of jobs are a luxury and hard work on the body. So I'm usually really happy to accept mistakes but this is unacceptable. read more

My daughter and I received pedicures one week ago 4/20-. We upgraded to the gel polish in hopes the pedis would last longer. In less than a week my daughters gel polish on her toes began to sluff off. One week later all she has is 3 toes with gel polish on them. Extremely expensive service to be such a poor quality. read more

I went here with 2 friends about 2 weeks ago. We got pedicures. Mine was great! They did a great job! One of my friends was not given enough time to dry and got messed up that day. And the other asked for a simple flower design and it was super messed up and ugly but she was too scared to say anything so she didnt. I think the experience here really depends on which tech you get. read more

They do ok work, depending on which worker you get. The mediocrity could be overlooked if it wasn't for several additional issues. First, the owner is rude and unprofessional. She's constantly receiving (and opening) personal packages and distracting other workers who are actively servicing clients. Second, someone please call up the health department. There are several workers who openly eat sunflower seeds, off the counters and at times, placing the used shells directly from their mouths back onto the counters. And finally, I recognize cultural differences exist, but the rudeness of how some of the workers answer questions have to be addressed. Overall, I'd stay there are plenty of other salons in Idaho Falls now. Take your money elsewhere. read more

I saw good reviews about this salon so decided to try it out with my mother-in-law today. I called the day before and made an appointment for today at 12pm. ⁣ ⁣ Nothing seemed wrong until 15 minutes went by, 30 minutes went by, AN HOUR went by....ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN minutes until we were SEATED for a manicure!!!!!!!!!! ⁣ Absolutely TRASH service! Not one apology about the horrendously long wait. The lady who seemed in charge just kept complaining that "she got tricked in coming in today! It's my day off and I got tricked today!" There were several other pissed off people and still not one apology or common courtesy from ANY of their staff. ⁣ ⁣ What would have made it better was maybe seeing that a customer is waiting AN HOUR when they had AN APPOINTMENT...hmmmm. Maybe offer them a glass of water or offer to be seated in a massage chair while they wait or a simple and sweet, oh I'm so sorry for the wait. I can give you a coupon for next time or thank you for waiting, I apologize. ANYTHING?! ⁣ NOTHING! ⁣ ⁣ It gets better though finally after I'm seated the lady doing my service is rushing and speaks to me rude and abruptly like I'm wasting her time and she's in a rush. I was at least looking forward to a nice hand massage but NO. This lady rubs my hand up and down quickly for 5 seconds each and rudely says "go wash your hands." I'm sorry but you made me WAIT FOR AN HOUR+ and then you're going to RUSH my service? ⁣ ⁣ Not to mention two times DURING my service she stops to text or do something on her phone. Absolutely horrendous! ⁣ ⁣ After my HOUR wait and RUSHED half ass manicure we get up to go to pay. Still no apology. What would have been nice is maybe a discount or a coupon for next time. She refused to apologize when I told her how unhappy I was. She nonchalantly shrugs and says "I'm just a worker." ⁣ ⁣ OKAY?! We've all had days at work that were busy and when people call out it's hard but learn how to give customer service and organize appointments so people aren't waiting for an hour + for a manicure and then rushed through their service. Absolutely horrendous! ⁣ NEVER coming back again. ⁣ read more

Have been here several times since relocating from AZ. They always deliver and do a great job! No complaints here.

If I could give less than a one star rating, I would do one100th of a star. I do not recommend this salon to anyone for anything. It started out fine and then after the pedicure I went for a nail fill and a polish and it went way downhill fast. I wanted a French manicure but there was a terrible fill line on one of my nails and it would show. I expressed my dislike for that and the nail tech said she could take care of it the next time I came in (she had already taken off three nails why couldn't she do just one more nail?). Then she started talking about me in Vietnamese with the other nail technicians in the shop, highly unprofessional. I was over charged by $10 and they were to refund it but the owner couldn't find his copy of my receipt. I couldn't stand being in the salon not one minute longer! DON'T DO IT! read more

When I first walked into this nail salon I was in love with it. It was well organized and clean and the receptionist was very warm and welcoming. I showed her the picture of the nails I wanted and she assured me Ali was their best for nail art. While I was sitting at her table and she was cleaning my nails the receptionist was attempting to confirm with her the work she did on the client before me, so she could pay and leave, and Ali immediately developed an attitude with her and was extremely rude right in-front of me. She also proceeded to complain about her job and co-workers the whole time she worked on my nails. As she continued to work on my nails, waiting until she had already done 3 of my nails (so no chance of me walking away at this point), she proceeded to tell me that she was going to charge me for the set, the length, the shape, and each nail that she put the cheetah print on ending in a total of $87 before tip for the REBASE. Now, I am not upset by the price because sometimes you have to pay for the work you get... but now 3 days later and I have already lost a nail, and I barely felt it when the whole nail snapped off. And the quality of the art is subpar. My nails are thin and extremely brittle and I don't think I will even last the week and when I mentioned that to her while she was working she completely ignored me. Do not go here. Go absolutely anywhere else before here. Here was the price break down: length $5 shape $8 matte top coat $5 design $8 an nail ($32 total extra charge) read more

Called to make an appointment, told me to arrive in 20 mins (which I did) got seated quickly with just standing water. Then 30 mins go by, finally get someone waited another 10 mins for them to get stuff ready and finally got water bubbling, had to get me more hot water by that time they finally started. Week later update: worker had cut my big toe incorrectly and now my toe is purple on the side of my big nail. Going to alt salon to repay for them to fix this salons mistake. i went in for a polish change. i had gel but wanted regular polish because it looked too bulky. i asked for a french manicure. i was quoted 30 dollars. when the owner came he said next time you'll be charged $10 more for a french manicure.he wanted to charge me more than a fill for a polish change. 10 minutes vs 40 minutes. obviously he doesn't want return business. its actually illegal charging more than you advertise. its $22 polish $32gel...what a crook! read more

the service is terrible. the guy who sits up front is always extremely rude (and that's putting it nicely) to everyone walking in and honestly just acts like he's better than everyone and could care less to be there. Somehow we always get him and he doesn't talk to you the whole time and expects you to read his mind... USE YOUR WORDS. the whole atmosphere is terrible. I will say they do a good job but I want to be treated nice and be cared about. they also charge up the ass for designs. and don't bother calling and making an appointment, that's a joke. they tell you when to come and then you show up to wait 20-45 min depending. so ridiculous. lets just say, we won't be going back. read more

My friend and I got a pedicure that was really nice. However, when I got my manicure, the lady doing my nails cut me twice while filing my nails. Instead of saying sorry or anything she just grabbed some nail glue, put it on and kept filing. She didn't give me the shape that I wanted either even when I was trying to explain it. My momma didn't raise no bishhhh but my fingers hurt like hellll. She filed away the sides of my nails so they're tender. They didn't even give me a discount for hurting me or acknowledge it. Just kinda annoying. read more

Very unhappy, I understand that due to COVID things are difficult but when you have a group of people come in you need to serve in order of who came in first. I sat there over an hour and was skipped over MULTIPLE times. To say i was upset is an understatement. The reviews are all really good. Visiting from out of town and it was horrible. Guy who did service was rude, didn't say one word, except to comment on how bad my feet were. Why did he think I was there? A pedicure, not to be put down. Rude! Rude! Painting job was horrible and toenails were not shaped good. Worst pedicure ever. Also be aware they charge you extra fees to use a card. I don't recommend this place at all. read more

Excellent service & they answer the phone!! Definitely well trained nail techs & competitive pricing!

This was by far the worst experience I have had at a nail salon. I was allowed to soak my feet for less then 2 minutes before they drained the water. They spent less then 5 minutes on my feet and then asked me to turn the massage chair off so they could paint my toes. $50 dollars for a 15 minute pedicure and they did not even attempt to massage my legs. I will not be back. It was a sad disappointment. read more

I had a mani-pedi at the Luxor Ammon location. I had an appointment and there was no wait time. THe pedi was immediately followed with a mani by a different person. Both were done with care and very little chit-chat which I prefer. The salon was clean, the staff were professional, and I'm very satisfied with the result for the price. I'll definitely be going back. read more
