The amazing stylists as Salon H Davis saved me from a wedding catastrophe! Only weeks before my…read morewedding I received a brief email from the stylist I originally hired to do hair and makeup at my wedding stating that she had quit the profession and would not be able to provide the services I had contracted and paid a deposit for. Thankfully my mother found and contracted Salon H Davis to know. They responded promptly and were able to fit me in for a hair trial without a few days. They graciously rearranged their schedules to accommodate mine and on meeting Liz, the stylist who did my hair, she immediately put me at ease. She spent quite a bit of time going through the ideas that I have pulled up and asked me what it was I like about each one so she could really pinned down the look I was going for. And she nailed it! She took several photos at the end of the trial and we talked through how we would fine tune it on the day of the wedding! And on the day of, she and her associate, Hailey, arrived promptly at the venue with everything they needed for the day. They were well prepared, extremely professional, worked in a timely fashion, and ensured that my bridesmaids were happy with their hair results! Most importantly, they allowed me to relax, and actually enjoy my big day (instead of stressing about it) and could spend time hanging out with my best girls as we chatted and caught up on life! Of note, they were affordable, willing to travel up to a certain distance and they were also able to set me up with a makeup artist who was also exceptional, Jaime Shippen!

Ashlene was our barber and she works on Sundays. We loved that! It's sometimes hard to be a new client because a lot of places are booked so many weeks out with their regular clientele. We booked this, then thought...wait is this right...its Sunday! It was quiet in the shop and Ashlene was great! What worked? She took clients on Sunday. There was no one in the shop Ashlene was great to work with, asked us what we wanted and listed to us. The shop was clean and large with interesting memorabilia/decor Ashlene held the door open and helped me get inside. The shop was easy to find Parking was available and sufficient. We have a pretty big truck and its not always easy to find a spot for a 23' dually. What did not work? Not the most accessible location. I was on crutches and there was no ramp that made it easy to access. I had to go up a pretty good step and I was still working on balance and no load bearing on my right leg. The music in the shop was from the owner's phone. It was her playlist and it wasn't for everyone. Join our squad and follow our adventures! - bit.ly/ClickToSubscribeToMHB

I am pissed off that I paid $350 for the Ombre Brows and on day 3, they were already peeling off, like how dry wax looks, but with fake hair strokes in it and no shading behind it! I didn't feel she was confident either, I had to keep showing her where it was uneven or not right and she'd say, "oh, I see it". She also did not do it how I wanted and her response was "I'm sorry, I can do it on the follow up". I was so annoyed of the lack of confidence and that my face was now already done that I just paid like a dummy, just to get out of there! I am not even going back for the follow up. I now have to have someone else redo her work. Someone saw what she did on me and said it looked bad, like she had used cheap, or bad ink and that her work was not even. I felt embarrassed. I have texted her, called, left vmails and she doesn't respond until maybe 2 days later. After I complained her text response was "follow the instructions" as if I hadn't already and she told me to just "fill in the blank spots with a pencil. I think these 17 or so other reviews are full of it and being nice. When I have expressed my concerns, or how they look....it's like she will not call me to reassure or make things better, but it's like she's blaming me for how they are now. That is not good customer service! Look at my pics and u be the judge if u wanna be next in my shoes! Service: Ombre brow
